Who should try out the 4 bore next ?!? I hope you enjoyed the video and thank you so much for watching!
Keep it up scott
Brandon or demo next for it
I read love the vids keep up the good work
Thoren Bradley? All that recoil from the axe swings into wood could be good to see how he handles large calibre recoil!
Matt from demolition ranch,
My chest and shoulder have never felt more tender! Thanks for having me out again!
😂 did it tenderize you more than the meat tenderize?
Still screaming?😂
That's a spicy afternoon of recoil !!
Brian Shaw vs. the punt gun! 👍
This was hilarious I’ve never seen Houston’s body move like dat and tha faces he was making 😂😂😂
Man... I don't know how the 4-Bore survived Houston Jones, but I'm impressed it did.
What if Chuck Norris would shoot 4 Bore?
@@dgpsartscraftslikely broken collar bone. He's old and frail.
@@aaront2192 I think he could handle it.... once.
Just Disintegrate against his pec on firing? Haha
@@dgpsartscrafts he probably uses it as an ankle gun.
"Worlds strongest man" vs "Worlds toughest man" is a video we all need. Make it happen captain!
PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN
Houston is such a humble, nice guy. Really charismatic and the mofo is tough, no two ways about it.
Worlds toughest vs. Strongest
they both are i love these guys 👏🏽. i feel like they’d hug you to submission if you tried to fight them 😂.
It's amazing how accurately Houston simulates the effect of recoil so Scott doesn't feel bad about those rifles not moving him at all.
Totally should have told him you’ve got “one more” and roll out the punt gun just to see his reaction 😂😂
But how could he hide it?
@@jackseney571* Movie magic
did he have the punt gun at that time? i think its a relatively recent addition to his arsenal
Dude handled that 4-bore like a boss
The fact that he was shooting them and just standing rigid instead of letting some of that energy disperse into his body and rock backwards is insane
Absolutely, he stood stiff against the recoil instead of doing what you should, allow it to push you back and minimize energy transfer. It was hard to watch.
That and it looks like he's not fully pressing the rifle into his shoulder so it's literally flying back and punching his shoulder instead of being connected to it... then again the hardest hitting thing I've shot is 12ga I've never shot a rifle like this.
…and the fact he’s not tucking that butt tight to his shoulder really adds to that hard hit lol
Scott’s increasing excitement and smiles every time he hands Houston a new gun is so freaking hilarious😂😂
The collabs with Houston are always fun to watch. Good chemistry between you two.
To be fair Scott manages to have great chemistry with everyone he collaborates with haha
respect scott, because ive no doubt that was a traumatizing experience for you and to be able to make light of it and try to make other people laugh about it shows great amount of character.
Ben from the UK
some people are controlled by their trauma
Scotts one of those who takes control of his trauma.
Yah it's called living life
Houston genuinely seems like such a nice guy. Makes it tough to watch him go through some of the things he does on his channel though he makes it so funny and entertaining at the same time.
Masochism and nice guy aren't mutually exclusive lol
Yea, until he starts screeching or generally opening his mouth for any reason.
He Does it so we don't have to
Highjacking this comment! Paul Harrell can handle the recoil, bring the ammo.and explain the...something...
This just shows how well Scott handles the recoil from all these guns, and can actually hit stuff!!!
The hitting stuff knowing a mule is about to kick him really is impressive I use to own a 300 win mag and it kicked like a mule depending on the cartridge if you anticipated and guessed when the gun was going to fire most people myself including would pull the gun you had to let it surprise you to hit the target
He’s probably close to 240 lbs at least. An accuracy challenge on GThumb’s ranch with giant bore cartridges would be cool
Scott is a beast
Ehh, I think it shows how little Houston knows about shooting big guns... lol.
I can't conquer the flinch if I do it 10,000 times, haha! I'm jealous. If it hurts, I'll flinch the third or fourth time (second if it's .500 S&W in a handgun). I'm pretty small (5'9", 150 lbs), and at this level, I think that's really a factor. I just don't have the mass to absorb that level of recoil before bones break, joints separate, or brains jostle around hard enough to matter. I've fired a bolt-action Barrett, it kicked about like my beloved .243s but the brake made it pretty disorienting. My light .300 WBY was the first gun I've ever shot that had a timer, haha! I can hit the first 4 times, then I'm going to flinch. My .44 Redhawk, maybe 5. I don't know how guys like Scott can power through it. I can know it won't hurt me all I want, I'll still jump when it hurts. I've shot a couple big rifles that hurt a lot, and I'm proud to say I put a .375 H&H in home plate despite the rifle (and my inexperience) breaking my nose, haha!
8:12 POV you're defending your home with a 600 Nitro: Please don't make me shoot you. You won't feel it, I will 😭
the wall and the family dog across the road will.
Wow! That 4 bore almost revoked his citizenship… Took his foot off the ground! I’m in love with that monster of a gun. And I’m a guitar player, so I love LOUD!! Great video!
Really puts into perspective how much of a beast Scott actually is!
Giggles like a school girl...not very beastly.
You know paper tiger? He is tiger paper.
Eddie's massive mass and strength is what saved him.
Scott has the balance of insane strength to body mass and the skills to know how to handle the recoil. Not many shooters out there like him.
Honestly Houston did extremely well. He's not that heavy or familiar with shooting rifles like this. Damn stout dude!
It also helps that Pain is his career-long closest friend.
For real, half of the stuff he does to himself would send the average person into shock.
@@The_Keeper Houston could shoot the punt gun off the shoulder and not feel pain.
Knowing how to hold a gun helps a lot.
@@KeepNitReal1980 Up to a point. After that you just have to ride out the pain.
So is it more about mass (assume both equal muscled), or gun experience, or a 50/50 thing here?
absolutely love the collabs you are doing...Eddie Hall and Houston Jones going back and forth could lead to some extreme humor as both have wise cracks. I'd love to see that.
Anything with you and Eddy is greatness. Add HJ into the mix, and it might be next level
11:38 when Houston shot the gun the recoil made the shell on the mattress stand up
You gotta be living in the 4th dimension to notice that holy cow good eye
did it at 8:12 too
@@TheWaMaster no it didn't.
Oh, you're right, it only bounced. My bad.@@Reviise123
Houston: shoots
Shells all around: SIRE!🫡
You can tell Houston doesn’t have any rifle experience . That makes it even more impressive that he got through that . Worlds strongest and toughest man …
Yeah, I would agree with that statement
He is a capable shooter actually, just no real experience lol
@@HighFlyer325he's not saying he isn't capable, but he does need work on his form, he probably would've done it better if he shouldered it tighter
Very first thing I thought was "why doesn't he teach him how to properly fire a gun?"@@asherogden3056
Yeah his stance and form wasn’t ideal but he handled them like a champ.
Love that you’re just a badass big kid shooting targets in the yard and having fun still. Keep on keepin on! 👏💀
I love the videos with Houston, y'all are like two brothers getting into trouble at every turn.
It's not everyone who can laugh and joke about a very near death experience such as yours.
Always entertaining and sometimes informative 😂
You know the High Speed Ballistics guys just had an RPG malfunction and explode in the tube, huh? They didn't say if it was a high explosive round. They had been shooting inert rounds prior to the explosion. I'm sure it likely was too.
Was about to comment this, it’s nice to see him using humor about the accident
@@J.C...ok?
We definitely need to see Eddie Hall and Houston Jones do a stand off with the highest recoil rifles in the world and see who handles it better!
We need all three of u to face off in an epic video!
@@Mark-Varley4051bruh we need guns to defend ourselves from the government who has weapons beyond belief
I agree
He did a Eddie Hall video of how well him vs him vs Eddie Hall handles recoil but I'd love to see a 50-man tournament!
I just love how Scott took such a traumatic experience and turned it into comedy, all be it niche comedy, but still, lovely work from a lovely man
As usual you never fail to amaze me with your videos. Hilarious to say the least great video and I don't think I'd ever want to touch some of those rifles. Keep up the great work Scott, your educating all of us on what not to do...
14:03 the recoil blasting the fly off of Houston's arm was insane
It wasn't a fly, the recoil ripped a mole off!
Houston, Scott, and eddie all in the same video?? The internet may explode! Please do it! You three together would be epic
Yes your right about that but just add Matt in the mix now that would be funny
I suggest adding in the slo mo guys too. Have them record Eddie and Houston firing those big guns shirtless with their slo mo cameras to see how much their skin ripples like they did with Dan on the slo mo guys channel.
Adding Matt would be awesome too. And I second adding the slow mo guys.
But all in all I'm just happy to see Houston and Scott together again
Let's get the slo mo guys in there as well and you'd have the highest of quality commentary, content, and humor from all those guys. and plenty of good slo mo footage.
My dad watches your channel
Bruh how old id he😂😂😂
Houston Jones is the best! His collaborations are always the best. I loved when he did one with the bell life before CZcams deleted their channel. I wished you had him shooting at stuff so we could see how good he is at shooting things
Lol and we were intimidated by our dads 30-06 as a 10 year old 😂
Going thru all these again really makes you appreciate the durability the gunsmith put into making these firearms.
After I shot my dad's 30-06 he handed me a 30-30 and said that "it was more my speed" lol
I was shooting an M1 Garand in competition at 12.
@@andrewstoll4548 cool? Do you want a cookie? Or did someone not give you enough attention…
@@Tisrok I used to go dove hunting with dad. While I could handle a twelve gauge, I found I was prone to getting excited and forgetting to seat the stock properly. Result: fascinating shoulder bruises. Ah, good times.
@@CherokeeChief.Are u salty or what lol
Whenever a guest shoots these wild safari-grade calibers, then Scott just smiles and laughs with childlike delight. That is why I love this channel
"didnt you have a major malfunction with this?"
Kemtucky: "nah"
God bless you both. Been watching you two for a long time! As well as John and a few others. God bless you all! Exceptional video as always. And I would love to see you guys make that video.
i really wanna see mark join in on these collabs just to bring his humor in with Scotts
PLEASE bring the slow mo bros back for the four bore!
Throwing Rich in there would be pretty damn hilarious as well.
he should do the next 4bore lol
3:12 The .416 Rigby may be the smallest of the big guns but it definitely has the greatest penetration power.
It's a nice combo of weight yet a narrow projectile. Decent speed too, lends itself to *penetration* ....
@@Aliyah_666that's what she said...
@@K_j_M *'bold'* of you to say....
Small and fast for the old peney pen.
This really just shows how much of a beast Scott is lol love to see people trying these guns!❤
I watch houstons stuff for close to, a bit over exxagerated, a decade. He is such an funny and nice guy and delivers top comedy/ stuntman/ Bro science content steadily and always on point.
Always good to have Houston and Scott together. Love to see more of their content combined.
You're in luck, they should be releasing 2 or 3 more videos together soon.
The sheer size of the bolt on that 700BMG is absolutely insane! 🤯
Holy sheeeet 😮 that slo-mo footage of the four bore was absolutely insane!!! I can’t believe he managed to hang onto that thang!! Kickass video Scott and Houston!
Props man! He handled those really well!
I’m glad to see you guys doing more videos together. Though it’s still strange seeing Huston being more of a normal video personality compared to his energy on his own videos. Love it either way!
It's because he has respect for Scott and firearms
They both have excellent charisma and have great chemistry together (no homo, maybe a little homo) I'm very surprised with Scott's personality being an ex copper and all, Donut's the same. More often than not that career stomps the personality out of one.
love this comment haha summed it up perfectly@@kingcosworth2643
Honestly, an "Eddie vs. Houston" shoot-off of some kind sounds like a platinum tier idea.
It absolutely HAS to happen.
Heck, you could go full stupid with some of the contests, like hip-firing the 4-Bore, or using it to skeetshoot.
... And of course, the "World championship Table-toss off"
I would suggest trying to shoulderfire the Punt-gun, but I don't think thats possible without grievous bodily harm...
Thank you. Excellent demonstration, fantastic Rifles. Ouch would be my answer. Keep on making great entertainment and video's
Another great video brother. I would love to see Houston Vs The Beast. Keep up the great content and stay safe out there.
I want to see a 4 bore endurance challenge between you, Eddy, and this guy here!
This guy is the world's strongest man
@@lao1168world's strongest bodybuilder, not man.
The real loser is Scott's bank account.
Scott would be broke lol
Going to assume that Eddy would win, as he will not know when to stop!!
I’d love to see a long-range test of the 4bore. Like could it reach 800-1000 yards?
That's an expensive test.
Maybe..I mean I feel like with the weight of the projectile it would be practically lobbed in.
45⁰ artillery test!
the MOA on that gun is probably insanely high, it would not be accurate, it isnt designed to be accurate
@@ChuckisNorrish oh I know. But I’m still curious about the range of a shoulder mounted howitzer, lol
10:37 Houston just made me realize I've been subscribed to him for 7 years now. And how he has since dropped the act and is just an amazing funny guy.
Great video! Love when you have collaborations like this!
It's funny, this video got me thinking about all the boomsticks I've fired in the Army and as a civilian over the decades, and Scott talking about "push" vs "punch" for felt recoil is very true. Some weapons feel like a friend giving you playful pop while others are more like getting hammered by some drunk guy in the bar out of the blue. My M24 never bothered me in the slightest, even the M82 wasn't bad, but some hunting rifles left me feeling like I had just been assaulted and a couple of pistols were downright MEAN. It isn't even just the caliber of the weapon, it's how they're built and designed that can mitigate a mauling into a nice noogie. As much as I loved the ungainly beast that my .44 Desert Eagle was with 260 grain handloads, my .44 Ruger Redhawk was a joy to shoot compared to it.
Another great video Scott, these collabs are turning into something really cool, keep it up brother!
EDIT: Just wanted to say, the slow-mo is amazing, showing just how massive the recoil really is, and while it happens in an instant, slowed down to this level we can see just how much motion is imparted and the incredible impact imparted on the body. People like you who are used to it, and know how to counteract it compared to people like Houston and Eddie who aren't used to it shown slowed down is a great tool to demonstrate experience. Shooters over years and decades can handle damn near anything, but"noobs" are often caught by surprise.
For larger recoil, would you say that it helps more to brace against the recoil or to stay loose
I love the intro, hilarious, love that you can make fun of the thing that almost ended you!!❤
7:12 😂😂😂 houston: “i almost ate it” meanwhile scott:dying of laughter 🤣🤣🤣🤣”.
Man, you can actually see the compression wave travel through his shoulder, to his neck, to his face and out his hair!
Amazing slow motion. This dude is double tuff, especially considering the biggest gun was the last.
Scott is the real World's Toughest Man.
Great video! Love seein Houston again
Huston vs Eddie would be awesome. Thanks for this awesome video.
At the 500 I was already screaming “Teach him how to shoulder heavy caliber!!! He’s about to really have a hyper mobile rotator cuff!”
I can't believe Scott kept letting him shoot with the rifle butts that far away from his shoulder.😂
That's the best part, watching him get hammered because of his bad stance. Mostly because I don't like Houston

Great intro lmfao. This is my third video seen and that's enough for me to subscribe. The ones with Eddie were hilarious 😂 🇨🇦🤣
The slo-mo of Houstons face etc when he shot the 4 Bore is easily one of the best slo-mo's of that kind I've ever seen on this channel 😂
That last one left him speechless. He didn't scream after the shot like he did the other's 😂
My dad really enjoyed your videos and that beginning skit made me laugh so hard and I'm sure it would've mad him laugh too thanks Scott for the good laughs 😁
That explosion gets me Everytime. I'm glad you're ok and doing well
Did you see that Ballistic High Speed had a catastrophic failure of an RPG? Adam got hurt. Thought maybe it would be nice for their team and helpful to Adam if you got in touch with them and encouraged him considering your miraculous recovery. Also great video, Houston is always a good collab here
Same thought regarding Adam from Ballistic High Speed here.
I dont know many people who joke about surviving almost dying... You sir are a master at it and I applaud you for it!

Love the banter when Houston is on, you can tell you’re both buddies for real.
Seeing Houstons muscles move so much from the recoil puts things into perspective a bit. 🤯
Awesome video love your stuff!! And glad you’re still doing what you love even after your accident my Ak/47 just blew up on me a few days ago and was very scary luckily I walked away with only a few cuts and bruises and a black eye! Keep up the amazing videos!!
