Not only that, but opposite traffic on the main road is signaling for turning left. Those left-turners have priority over anyone on that side road, because the side road has a stop sign and the main road does not.

Not to mention that intersection seems way too big just to be a four way stop. There should really be traffic lights and red light cameras at that intersection.

You know for a LONG time pickups were to top selling vehicles in the US? Most pickup drivers are just drivers, they are not idiots. It's like when people thought all BMW drivers were yuppies. A few idiots ruin a cars reputation for everyone. Mustangs and Camaros have been banned from a bunch of car meets because of idiots, and they are WAY worse than the average pickup driver :)

Regardless if who was right or wrong, the driver is playing the victim because they didn't even attempt to slow down. Was the an ass for merging so abruptly, sure. Was the truck at fault? Without video, a cop probably would have found them at fault. 100% they're at fault for flee the scene(even if they didn't notice the accident occur). But the cammer recorded himself not slowing down and taking the sideswipe from the truck. There was zero indication that the cammer attempted to avoid the accident.
Lastly, just because you have the right of way doesn't mean you can abuse it and be an aggressive driver. First and foremost your objective while driving is to reach your destination on time, safely, with minimal harm to yourself and your passengers. Cammer failed this for the sake of internet points or just boneheadness.

In many countries it's illegal to just drive away from the accident scene without at least asking if everything is alright, no matter if you were involved in the accident or not.

621 That's still the mini-van's fault for the accident! A simple shoulder check could have avoided that accident and saved all 3 vehicles! Always shoulder check before changing lanes! ALWAYS! So simple a move and avoid any accident. Since I started watching these channels I always shoulder check before changing lanes.
Not agreeing with ya on that. The middle car only came barely over, the guy in the fast lane way over reacted. I put the blame on that guy since the middle car corrected fast enough. Just my opinion though for what its worth😬
Disagree. Minivan pulled a stupid move but corrected properly and quickly. Other vehicle swerved and lost control - if you lose control and that causes a crash, you're pretty much always going to be at-fault, either majority or in totality. Minivan might get partial fault at best.

It always makes me chuckle and shake my head at the number of american drivers who their First instinct is to just sit on the horn rather than BRAKE.
Swerving is a bad thing, most inexperienced drivers do it out of instinct.
6:30 If you ever fall from the pavement to the earth on the side you never brake, you never try to return to the road. You keep going straight while the car slows down. Only when you are at a slow speed you may brake or you may try to return to the road. Braking or swerving with different soils below the tyres wil make your car unstable and you will loose control.

I have not had an accident in 25 years, I got a speed camera ticket 6 years ago and in the last 2 years my car insurance rates have almost doubled and these idiots are the reason why.

8:02 been there myself. My first car was a 2003 Mustang that my father-in-law 'generously' sold me for $500. Didn't realise until a few weeks later how much of a hunk of junk it was - spun the damn thing once on the near-bald tyres he'd given it to me with, and another time in the rain because I wasn't familiar with how to pull a U-turn in bad weather.
Learned my lesson real quick after that, thank goodness the only hit I took was to my pride.

I had a situation where I came up to a left turn lane. The light didn't want to switch to allow us to go. Here to come find out. The vehicle in front wasn't at the white line. So I got out and asked him nicely to pull up to the line. As soon as he pulled up to it. The next cycle it switched for us.

I've asked this question before but no one has answered. I've seen this in several videos. AT 1:46, when the cars collide, one or the other's windshield wipers start up. Or sometimes it seems like the emergency flashers turn on before the driver even has the chance to turn them on. Is this by design on some models?
I'm sure the flashers are a safety feature for some newer cars but I've concluded the wipers is due to the driver's hands leaving the steering wheel upon impact and possibly triggering the wipers on accident. I have nothing to back that conclusion up with, however.

My theory is both were on their cell phones. Car in front didn't know the light was green because he was looking down; car behind looked back down after starting to accelerate and didn't see the cammer stop again.

Georgia State law actually does state that Semi's can only operate in far 2 right lanes unless they are about to make a left turn. And he did state he didn't even notice the turn signal. Still honestly a dumb excuse because he definitely would have saw that semi beginning to merge though.

You may want to check once in a while to assure it is actually recording. When I had an accident in 2021, I had 3 dashcams: One forward, one cabin, and one in the rear. The most important one, the forward one, stopped recording a few minutes before I arrived at work that morning and only began recording again when the impact occurred. The one facing into the cabin had stopped recording months prior. Only the rear facing dash cam was recording at the time of the accident.
for the one at 1:35 yep sounds like a most cops, they get to a scene and immediately jump to a conclusion about who is the guilty party without getting any information
