@DashcamNation1 I have a lot of videos for your channel.
3:40 His "problem" is you. You changed lanes in an intersection. Bad boy. No. Don't do that.
Agreed in this case with the Solid white lines on either side of the intersection...some places tho, its not expressly forbidden to do so.
Oregon allows lane changes in intersections. I can't tell what state this took place in though.
@@matttaylor3551 I didn't know it was ever allowed anywhere. When I was 17 and took my driver's test I made one mistake - I changed lanes in an intersection. I still passed because it was the only mistake I made, but that mistake is seared into my brain for all eternity. 😄
With “School of Los Angeles” and gas prices above $5, California is a decent guess, but the only license plates I can see remind me of Washington. Good bet that it’s west coast, though.
@@trumpetmom8924 Good catch on School of Los Angeles. 👍
1:30 what the flip am i listening to
Sounds like Steve-O from Jackass singing a song. Don't know who it really is, though.
@@trailerwookie "I Want to See the World" by Hobo Johnson.
Some actual dogshiiii
Hobo Johnson, he is not for everyone but lots of people, including me, love his songs.
Get better taste in music.
@2:48 Props to the closest driver behind cam car. Those were some impressive reflexes to steer off after getting rear ended, and avoid hitting the cammer. Very nicely done by that dude.
Yea that jeep driver did the cammer a solid there lol. Good driver.
Yeah, I saw that too. Great reflexes.
1:50 Wtf were listening too😂😂
Hobo Johnson
@@jakeniblo2847 thanks lol
4:22 if you looked a little further ahead you would have seen the brake lights and started to slow down, the truck merging didn’t and that’s why he quickly slowed down. Not intentional
7:44 love the guys vibe, not mad not angry unlike every other drivers out there who will honk or turn on high beams just bc they want to go💀
5:00 Maybe if you were not going 13+mph over the speed limit going around the curve with limited visibility...
The best part was hearing his breaks getting messed up
The van pulled out when his view was blocked by a car in the other lane. This had nothing to do with speed, the van driver was totally at fault.
7:41 this is the vibe needed to drive. Call people an asshole, laugh at them, whatever. Don't rage, be patient and keep the vibes immaculate.
"you could've went... you f***ing turd burglar"
1:44 what kind of music was that
coz they need to turn it off
It wasn't music, it was noise
better than the garbage you listen too (probably)
4:52 over 50mph on a single lane road around a turn. yeah.. thats what happens
That's a two lane road and the speed limit is probably 45-55.
@@mikesmith-po8nd sign says 40 not long after the text comes up
I was pretty close then. My point was that the OP was making it sound like the cammer was driving like a manic.
@@mikesmith-po8nd Going on a turn in the road at more than 10mph over the posted limit, on a single lane undivided road. Yeah, that's pretty dangerous - kinda like a maniac. Fun fact, a lot of more modern turns are engineered in such a way to force you to slow down or risk flying off the road, because it's dangerous otherwise.
@LeScratch89, apparently all of you live somewhere that anything less than a multi-lane superhighway is a one lane road. This road is TWO lanes.
Also, I have lived all my life with two lane roads like the one in the clip, and his speed was not crazy.
For the two clips with the school buses, I'd have taken note of their bus numbers and called the country with the footage.
2:52 Quick thinking by the Jeep driver, turned so they didn't involve you in the accident.
the potholes on the last clip are killing me
probably american road
Guessing that the chartuese Dodge at 7:13 was stolen, thief did multiple donuts in the parking lot (you can see the tire tracks at 7:22) and then crashed and left it.
5:01 the DOOR is still open 😭
Rural area. Probably not even going far from where he just was up to his next stop. That, and lack of climate control of any sort. Hell, pretty sure EVERY package delivery service that works out of cargo vans has drivers going around with the door wide open.
7:27
Probably stolen.
Let’s looks at the clues:
Out of state dealer plate.
Crashed vehicle with no one around.
If it was legitimate there would likely had been a tow truck there to get it since it belongs to a car dealership. And vehicles with dealer tags are usually either maintenance loners or test drives.
1:11 They should have been playing Rock n Roll instead of Kashmir and maybe he would have been more awake
He would have crushed the curb had he been flooring it with Immigrant Song playing blasting.
@@drunkentrain If he had been playing Stairway he would have fallen completely asleep until the last section of the song.
@2:55 shoutout to the jeep driver for swerving away from cammer. Great awareness.
@4:00 Pass, or pull behind. It's not safe to sit next to another vehicle like that.
3:40: Depends on the state. Apparently, some states allow lane changes in intersections for some asinine reason. That being said, generally the insurance would likely say it's 50/50. Regardless of anything else, you still had right of way and they didn't yield, but since you changed lanes in an intersection... the other person's insurance could make an argument against that, provided it's not legal in your state.
I'd think that if switching lanes in an intersection is illegal in that state (and it SHOULD be illegal everywhere, it's absolutely bizarre to me that it's not), then the lane switcher would be 100% at fault. There are several scenarios where the closest lane is clear for the turning driver to turn into, and they therefore don't count you in their turning calculation if you're two inches away from the intersection or already in it. Your in-intersection lane switching completely caused the accident.
@@Morgan423Z I agree with your first point, but no... regardless of the lane change in the intersection, they have right of way as they are in the flow of traffic. You always have to yield right of way to the flow of traffic regardless if they committed an infraction like changing lanes in an intersection. It is still a failure to yield.
@NDFIN going 20+ over the speed limit and upset when someone pulls out in front
2:53 props to Jeep driver for steering to the right and avoiding hitting the cammer.
3:52 looks like the bus has an ad looking for drivers (i wonder why???)
5:05 typical amazon driver it seems.
That's for sure.
Am I the only one who noticed the door was open on the Amazon Truck?
2:50 that last driver swerving so cammer didn't get involved is a goat,
3:35 100% you. This is _EXACTLY WHY_ changing lanes in an intersection is illegal.
In California where this happened, it’s not illegal. I even looked it up for my state of Washington, and it’s not illegal here either but I swear we were told in drivers ed it was illegal.. But you should definitely not do that. I wonder if it is considered illegal to do so while turning.. A lot of the time people don’t stay in their lane when turning in an intersection and I know you’re supposed to stay in the same lane.. I wonder how that would hold up in court..
Bingo. Even if it was that one stupid place where it is legal, it's still pretty much always an idiotic maneuver.
It’s not illegal. It’s just simply not a smart idea.
@@aaronlewis8948 depends on the state, some states allow it like NJ, NY, and CA but many states do not, ironically as an NJ resident, I'm pretty sure I was taught it was illegal even though after googling it it was not
I looked into it a little bit more. Lane changing in the middle of an intersection isn’t illegal, BUT, unsafe lane changes are. So if a cop/insurance determines it was unsafe, then you’re in the wrong. Technically, changing lanes in an intersection is unsafe.. so it is illegal lol
I love when the Amazon driver pulls out in front of you and then turns in the next driveway
Amazon drivers aren't the only ones to do such treacherous things...you can include about any delivery company. They are all trying to do their jobs in a timely manner but driving underpowered and oversized vehicles in an attempt to do it. Thus, they feel forced to do such unsafe maneuvers in order to complete their task until it becomes the norm to them and a danger to us.
Small rant -- on one of the main drags here in my city, there are two very small offshoot roads within 500 feet of each other. They do not form an intersection, in other words. People will pull out in front of 55mph traffic from one, just to hit the brakes almost immediately to turn onto the other. And all this just to avoid having to sit at a light. So many accidents have happened there, and so very many near misses. The WORST are the delivery drivers, because both offshoot roads are one lane, and they end up having to navigate around a ditch and other traffic, which takes them forever in their delivery trucks, causes people to slam on their brakes, etc.. Makes that part of the road so dangerous. And again, all to avoid having to sit through a short-timed traffic light a little farther down the road.
2:28 not the music going perfectly with the crash-
Watching these has made my "what would your superpower be" answer change from telepathy to "being able to telekinetically fling bad drivers into space at escape velocity." You'd just be driving near me and all of a sudden a car would be flung upwards at a speed defying imagination. It's not like the occupants would even suffer long, that quick of an acceleration would turn them into Jello instantly.
The hell
@3:42 Changing lanes in an intersection is a bad idea. In Florida, it's illegal to change lanes within 100' of an intersection-to avoid this very situation. I don't know about other states.
This compilation got the best song playlist out of all of em!
2:52 Awesome going for that other driver turning off to his right to avoid dragging yet another car into the mix! 💯💯💯
3:39 law in my state at least is that you’re not allowed to merge lanes in the middle of an intersection. Almost got me into an accident about 2 years ago when I might a right turn and had to screech to a stop because the guy coming down the highway merged in the middle of the intersection. Cammer is at fault completely.
exactly what I thought
Yeah, from the other driver's POV, the cammer was on the left lane.
absolutely should be maintaining his lane in the intersection
7:24 not surprised. That’s what you get for clearly doing donuts
Most likely stolen and crashed and ditched there
3:06 Nice reflex by the jeep.
Nice use of Turdburglar
0:47 - You know, there's a reason they tell you not to pass on the right.
Thank God for dashcams.
4:55
Not only is the amazon driver not paying attention, he's driving with the side door open while turning onto a main road smh.
Step-vans can.
Cut-Aways can, on neighborhood roads. Long as they don't have loose cargo in the front.
Sprinter vans should not, ever. Opens a huge hole directly into your cargo compartment. Makes you look like a complete muppet.
The extra few seconds you gain by having the door open you lose once things fall out. Not worth it.
I speak from experience lol
1:44 “I’m making an illegal left turn now. Good luck everyone else!”
6:28 and another big and heavy SUV only used to get McDonald's and 2 bags of groceries only driven by one person flips over.
3:48 I’m not sure what the percentage of fault would be, but it might be worse for you since changing lanes in an intersection is illegal in some states. Depends on your state laws.
3:30, in Michigan, you would be 100% at fault because you changed lanes in the intersection which is illegal here
0:56... passing on the right, this shows why it is against the traffic code.
1:30 screw the accident what are my ears being cursed with
6:13 Houston, we have a problem.
I like watching these videos so in the future when I get a drivers license I know what and not to do
Or make you wonder why you want to get your driver's licence at all.
the driver in Cherokee was amazing… turning right to avoid more accidents🎉
5:00
Are some of these scammers exaggerating just a little bit?
3:41 not suppose to switch lanes in the intersection like that.
But also that's why I don't turn into a lane when there's an oncoming car coming even if they're in the furthest lane.
I crashed my first car exactly like a guy from 7:07, except it was much less powerful. 😆
Let's be honest here, the guy at 1:23 got hit because he was listening to Hootie and the Blowfish. The other guy was on the phone with the person telling him what the cammer was listening to. He knew the task at hand.
Had to do a double take at 2:25, that's McGregor way in Fort Myers! I've ran down that road tons of times!
Rocking out to Zeppelin, wasn't paying attention.
Road rage frequently bubbles up in response to impulsive actions like a sudden brake check.
2:00 Yes the other car was fully at fault, but the cammer could have avoided the collision if he was more alert. A car barrelling towards a give-way line with no sign of stopping should have given him enough warning.
sleep token at 4:00, love it
ME TOO
3:50
Lane change in the middle of an intersection?! Other car thought lane was clear until some genius changed lanes going through it.
Duh! Darwin candidate driving the cam car.
@6:23 "Don't use your phone while driving."?! While driving, you shouldn't be doing anything except driving.
Even if they are using it, WTF are they holding it in their hands? If they saw themselves out of the vehicle on the phone, they wouldn't drive in the vehicle with it.
There are numerous hands-free devices for every instance so you can keep both hands on the wheel and view the road. I'm an OTR contractor, I have a Steelie magnetic holding device fixed on the dash for my phone and a voice activated Plantronics headset (for one ear only). My hands don't have to leave the wheel and I can concentrate on driving. I also make it a point when on the phone my driving has precedence, and I may not respond immediately because of this.
They were just saying not to use the phone, chill….
1:29 if this is what hobo johnson sounds like clearly i'm not missing out 💀💀
Did some digging on Google Earth to find the location of the clip at 4:55 and looked at Street View.
• speed limit 40, cam car going over 50
• left curve sign which points out two roads within the curve AND a hidden entrance sign before footage starts, clearly neither were heeded.
I don’t think that one’s on the Amazon driver…
The van pulled out when his view was blocked by the white car, definitely at fault.
1:00 Well at least they have good taste in music.
5:00
Why the hell are you going 53 in a posted 40 zone?
No wonder he couldn't see you, you're literally speeding so fast he couldn't react to you just pulling into his line of sight
What the frick was that music at 1:50 💀🤣🤣🤣 I've never heard that music before and this is exactly why people shouldn't be allowed to drive at all because of how terrible they are imagen being behind someone and they do this crap to you on the roads and highways this is definitely me🤦🏽♀️ how i hate that feeling so much
Haha, Leo Zeppelin...
School bus drivers are the worst. Got honked thrice in a span of 10 seconds just for yielding at a traffic roundabout!
5:52 Why give "props to the cammer" when he didn't anticipate the car would have to backup when it was clear from the traffic that he would have to? If another driver had pulled up behind the cammer, he likely would have been hit.
0:30 have you considered maybe not passing someone on a one lane double yellow line??
The 3rd video with the Aura is Arundel Mills Blvd 2 mins from my house. PEOPLE blow my mind who try to change lanes without looking
5:00 The Porsche was going way too fast for the road he was on. The Amazon driver did NOT pull out “at the last second.” He had no reason to think a car would be coming at him at 60 or 65 mph instead of 35. Don’t care if you have a Porsche or a BMW M car, slow it the hell down on narrow, curvy residential roads.
The cammer should have been easily visible, you can't pull out in front of other cars just because they are speeding.
All those bad drivers causing the accidents and road rage seen in this video are horrible and those types of behaviors need to stop.
3:40, your fault for changing lanes during an intersection
2:07 That is either some very tall grass or a very short vehicle. 😅
It is tall grass 😂 it's a pretty steep verge and never gets cut.
3:41 In my city, intersection lane changes are illegal so it would be ur fault likely
3:41 NEVER change lanes in an intersection. I almost got hit off a right-on-red because some moron switched into the right lane as I was making the turn.
The first three would have never been close calls if the cammers had taken a defensive driving course. But yeah, the other drivers were idiots for sure.
3:40 This is mostly the cammers fault. Its illegal to change lanes in the middle of an intersection
@7:25 I think there are a lot of people who learn how to drive in a low-powered, front-wheel-drive car. Then, they get enough money to buy something with some power, but they don't bother to learn how to drive it. This is often the result.
4:32 I don't believe it was intentional. Brainless and stupid, yes but not intentional.
It's illegal to change lanes in an intersection. What a dingbat.
entitled 911 speeder
let the van work
3:53 and the bus kept causing trouble in the next scene
4:00
Part of me thought, yea the bus would be at fault no matter what. But why not just pull behind, get a lane over, or pass? Why camp that bus's blindspot? And they had a turn signal. I'm not saying it's the cam drivers fault, but that interaction could've been prevented.
dump their licenses
DO NOT CHANGE LANES IN AN INTERSECTION! 3:40
At 3:48...... It's illegal to change lanes in an intersection, thats why there are solid white lines before and after the intersection. Duh
3:49 I cant see you getting more than 30% on that one, you changed lanes within 100ft prior to an intersection and completely merged with that lane prior to the other party pulling out in front of you.
HAHAHA WE’RE ON 222 :DDD
Delaware!!!
4:23 i dunno if cammer was payin attention up ahead, but there is very clearly stopped/slowing traffic. so yes it was intentional, it just wasn't any sort of rage towards you.
4:55 going nearly 55 in a 40 around a blind bend, you're a not innocent here. The driver may not have seen you behind the other car, it's hard to tell, but you shouldn't be going that fast around a turn like that. If the truck had been stopped on the shoulder and another car in the opposite direction on the curve, you'd have smashed into someone and you would definitely have been at fault. Slow down.
3:40 100% Your fault. Never change lanes within an intersection
And that is why there is that law!
Oregon allows lane changes in intersections. I can't tell what state this took place in though.
@@joshuahulce5630 Really? Wild
The guy at very end was driving that way because it was Opposite Day or Wednesday
4:54 And the next clip That's the breaks, you were both fine :) that's why we have brakes. 5:48 That was stupid on the part of the little car
The Bus was I got the future in my bus MOVE out of our way..
Passing another vehicle on the right is always a risk.
I don't know about 5:17
And yes, schoolbus drivers are among the absolute worst out there. I see anything like the blind lane-change or running a red, I always get the date+time, and if at all possible the bus number or other markings, and call them to report it. One of these days they *will* get a busload of kids seriously hurt or worse by the way they drive. They know that in any dust-up, the cops, etc., will almost always side with the schoolbus regardless of the facts.
2:30 Dillon, what exactly was blowing your horn throughout the collision taking place 100 feet in front of you supposed to accomplish?
maybe alerting the surrounding drivers to pay attention so they notice the accident
