Thx for 200 Idiots in Cars Videos😊
Unfortunately the ones who need to watch these videos don't believe they need to watch these videos. My guess is pretty much the viewership is those who already drive cautiously and defensively, but still appreciate the reminder of why we do it.

It kind of looked like it was lifted too, definitely not helping
@@Mike-zl4zs The F250 has come lifted from the factory since at least 2020. The 2023 and 2024 are getting close to being purpose-built pedestrian killers.

8:57 Not saying the road rage is justified, but cammer clearly failed to yield to roundabout traffic.
Thats...exactly what they said in the text too. They agree it sucks to be cut off like that, but that the road rage was one step to far, which we both seem to agree on
So many roundabouts where I live. No one knows how to use them so you just have to be vigilant and expect it. But, unfortunately, this happens a lot!
Interesting that the roundabout had a solid white line in it. Like where the camera car entered the roundabout, the only option was to exit at the road on the right hand side of where he entered..
@@NotSureJoeBauerscan also see in the lead up that kid avoids the speed bump by going center of the road, keeping his speed up. Enters the roundabout much faster than the posted 15MPH and does not follow proper lane usage or even signal (not required in WA in a roundabout but still something everyone should be doing) Kids not a new driver making a mistake, he’s a douchebag with parents that don’t care to reprimand him for his behavior.
He didn't enter the roundabout above 15 MPH. He was doing about 5 mph when he rolled into the actual roundabout. He did come in hot though and it wasn't correct to butt into the other lane the way he did. Would have been more appropriate to have crawled and signalled until a gap opened or he was sure the car behind would yield. Overall I don't think it is the best design of a roundabout in the first place. @@CosmoMomen
5:08 Cammer not at fault of course, left turn = yield, but this is bad mentality. It happened, too late to change it, so I would let the guy make his turn. The sooner the situation is back to normal the safer for everyone.
Agreed, classic example of defensive driving. Either let them complete their illegal maneuver away from you, or put yourself in harms way because you are right. Because you being legally in the right doesnt mean you need to sacrifice yourself/vehicle to make your point. All else being equal I want to avoid a crash 1st and foremost.
If they hit, they probably would’ve been partially found at fault because they could’ve prevented that
She had 1-2 business days to foresee that truck. trying to go was really something
Looks like they just had a green arrow too, just wait for intersection to clear I swear people just don't look around before going
Actually, the law requires all drivers to yield the right of way in order to avoid an accident. Since the cammer would have had the last opportunity to yield, they could have been found at fault if a collision had occurred. You don't get to force your way through just because you "have the right of way".
2:37 from cruising on a sunny day with relaxing music, to absolute hell 😂
Went from R&B to rocked&rolled real quick lmao
The last one becomes a game, how far from his car can you make him walk? And then when he gives up start driving forward closer to him and restart over and over
Exactly what I was thinking, as well! Like how in high school you'd punk your friends by pullling up a few feet, slam on the brakes, and say, "Oh, OK. Sorry man, we were just messing with you! For real though, get in!" Then immediately pulling up a few more few feet and slamming the brakes...until they got so pissed that they stormed off. "Naw, man! I'm starting to feel bad! Come on, we got a blunt waiting at so-and-so's house, let's go smoke!"
Then you do it again. :p
But in this case you straight up just pick a fight with dude: "Brah, come get some, bitch!" Then just back up a few feet. When he eventually gives up and starts walking back to his car, pull in front of him and block him. Then do the same going the other direction.
He had it coming. He should not have pulled into the circle with the traffic going through.
@@thomaspiscitello7330That's how roundabouts work

7:50 (mailtruck)
If i had to guess, i'd say it was a newer delivery driver, still getting used to the seat position and not knowing the area, and not using his lights full abilities. He was definitely in the wrong with the first clip.
That last "swerve" at the end is whats known as "delivering the mail" tho lmao.
Everyone's a rookie at one point, my guess is that was this drivers problem. When your job is on the road, you're unfortunately "on display" to everyone, with any mistake you make. Just hope he learned from it, thats what ultimately matters.
If a marked delivery vehicle is acting "erratic," just give it some space, and wait to fully see what they do.
If the driver is doing the right thing, they should have either hazards, delivery warning flashers, or at the very least, a turn single on to warn everyone they are about to do something. Just be patient and give them space.
Always expect a delivery vehicle to be about to do something or stop somewhere. And do not pass it until it has stopped moving completely, or cleared the road.
This is what I was going to post: I've seen new delivery drivers trail veterans and they've got the competing priorities of learning the route, keeping up with their instructor, and not unduly slowing the instructor down on their own timetable. I imagine it's pretty stressful and weird!
@@serisothikosNot to mention this was a few days before Christmas. Even if he wasn't new, dude was probably stressed the hell out.
1:35 Man sounded like Hank Hill 😂
Which is kinda funny because im pretty sure thats in Western Washington which is like as far away from Texas as you can get (without it being Hawaii or Alaska) so idk why he has that accent.

3:58 slide was clean tho ngl
3:24 it would be quite the coincidence if cammer was in a company car.
😂
The mail carrier was probably doing a split route he’d never delivered before. Just trying to find which is his first box to deliver. It’s a harder job than you think.
Also, it's a right hand drive. If he's a new guy that could be a factor too.
Ya there are so many innocent explanations for this one. Delivery vehicles always cause problems for other drivers.
They were in Mercer Island, WA, too which has a bunch of mostly entitled people living there that think everything is questionable
This series has helped me become a far better driver then I could’ve been without it. I would have gotten into at least one accident by now had it not been for situational awareness that watching this series gave me. Thanks a bunch! Here’s to 200 more!

This was a few years ago now, but there was a mall in Calgary that was sick of people cutting over a particular corner (as in, over the curb) in the parking lot, so they put a big rock on the grass. Within two days and three rollovers the police told the mall to remove the rock for being a safety hazard. We coddle drivers too much.
@@JonMartinYXD Time to put up some proper bollards. Screw what the city demanded. Private property.
I have been an avid follower of this channel and watched almost every upload this year. Wishing every good driver out there who safely made it out of 2023 unscathed to continue to be safe on the roads in 2024 and beyond.
I don't understand the mentality of road ragers who stop in front of a vehicle to force them to stop, get out of their vehicle, and start aggressively coming toward the driver behind them. In most states, the rear driver can claim he was in fear of his life and shoot the aggressor and typically get away with it.
Lol sounds like you need to read up on that law😂😂
@@Chris-uv4jw Castle doctrines and/or stand-your-ground laws could give the rear driver a solid defense in many US states, depending on the state in question. Not everywhere has a duty-to-retreat law in place, especially if the (defend your) castle doctrine applies to owned vehicles in said jurisdiction.
5:07 Cammer probably would have been partially at fault under the "last clear chance" doctrine. If you start to enter the intersection before it clears, you're at fault even if you had a green light.
Yes so true. Just because it’s green doesn’t mean go.

Hard to believe that that accident at 3:25 happened in "Tucson, AZ" when all the cars have Texas plates, there's an intersection at "Lone Star" road, the radio is tuned to WOAI in San Antonio, and there was an advertisement for Thomas J. Henry-a personal injury attorney (lol) I've seen like 8 million commercials of that practices in Texas-playing right before impact.
Think ya got some wires crossed there, bud.
Yeah, it surprised me too. I saw Tucson, AZ, and then saw Texas plates. I live in AZ and plates certainly don't look like that.
I know I live in Tucson, and that's not Tucson. It's obviously in Texas. Good eye.
This is actually in San Antonio, Texas near the intersection of Culebra or FM471 and Lone Star Parkway
3:26 the radio was trying to warn her💀
Happy New Year, Fam! Thanks for the great, consistent content! And safe driving ya'll! ☺
1:26 Punished for being a safe driver. Blocking intersections is a pet peeve of mine. It is an inconvenience for drivers who get blocked, but it is downright dangerous for pedestrians.
And you can see even the lane to their left was not going either. Should have been fairly obvious to the driver.. but you can see the guy did slam his brakes on pretty suddenly. It's one thing to stop and wait. It's another to slam your brakes
Dangerous? How, I just walk around. It's that easy
Dude sounded like Hank Hill when he said "God Damnit" hahaha.
@@jschackmann2 Walking around either puts you in the line of fire of cross traffic that are themselves trying to get around the blocking car, or in a position where the blocking driver - who is feeling pressure to get out of the intersection ASAP - gets tunnel vision and does not see you before they start moving.
If I know the driver sees me I will walk in front of them, alternating my gaze between them and the position of their car. But just because they are looking at you doesn't mean they see you. I got bumped crossing in front of a car on a quiet side street in broad daylight while making eye contact with the driver. They looked at me like I had just popped up out of the pavement.
@@Ryan-wx1bimy guy stoped and there was like 2 seconds of reaction time, no fucking way that’s not enough for you to brake as well 😐 pay attention and keep your distance
7:31 is South Mercer Island WA. Those two Stop sign intersections are a mess. Once had a car turn left into my diriection's right turn yield.
@6:20 How is that cop not found at fault? Other cars have the green light and sirens are not always seen/heard. It's 100% the cops responsibility to make sure the intersection is clear from all lanes before jumping into the middle of busy traffic. Stupid af
That was the first clip that made me go to the comments. 100% on the cop
The cop nearly stopped. Made sure the intersection was clear, then proceeded with caution. A careless driver who didn't see a cop car with lights (and maybe siren, we don't know because sound is muted) on, and didn't slow when everyone else was already stopped sped into an intersection when unsafe to enter.
I knew the comments would not be kind to the cop, because ACAB, but that cop should not have been found to be at fault.
@@marc21256 bootlicker
@@marc21256 lmao ur crazy
New Hanover County appears to be in NC, and under NCGS § 20‑156(b), the police car was being at least as cautious as he needed to be. "When appropriate warning signals are being given, as provided in this subsection, an emergency vehicle may proceed through an intersection or other place when the emergency vehicle is facing a stop sign, a yield sign, or a traffic light which is emitting a flashing strobe signal or a beam of steady or flashing red light."
3:37 was that an ad for if you’re in an accident…right before they got rear ended??😭 I feel bad, but that’s crazy funny timing
Because of these videos I have changed my driving habits. As you said; lessons learned! Thanks for a job well done, and all the videos.
Yeah, but were you "the problem"? Probably not.
@@jovetjunless you are a HORRIBLE driver, no one is “the problem”. Just some drivers tend to be less cautious or forget to pay attention as much as they should. 5:40 even the cat was impressed
8:14 - If you ask me, both vehicles were already going an excessive amount of speed for a windy mountain road. Cam car was barely maintaining his lane prior to the truck coming over, due to the centrifugal force of the curve. Not to mention, in the description, the cammer states that he already noticed the truck driving like a moron. I don't know about you, but if I see someone driving like an idiot, I like to have them in front of me where I can react, rather than behind me. Two idiots nearly becoming each other's problem.
And if you DO decide to pass an idiot who's been changing lanes randomly like that... ASSUME THEY WILL DO IT AGAIN
5:00 I have had this happen a couple times, they pull up and look away from me, pull out into traffic and THEN look in my direction, see me coming and freeze in the middle of the road
The guy at 1:18, not the cammer. Didn’t even look over at the cammer until after the honk. The guy wasn’t paying any attention
I think the guy realized it after the cammer honked. He wasn't even looking until that moment. It looks like he uttered something under his breath and then was too proud to acknowledge his own error.
@2:45 can't imagine a more terrible situation than having a rollover crash why the sultry tones of Boys II Men's "I'll make love to you" plays 😢
Been watching this channel for the last few months and getting a lot of lessons on what not to do on the road. This and Idiots in cars are my two favorite dash cam channels.
6:02 Holy shit, a road I actually know! This offramp is a bit of a mess. Not the worst I've ever seen by a long shot. Super busy, three lanes goes down to two lanes which merge down to one lane that gets onto another super busy interstate, and an express lane exits off of the left lane halfway down the offramp. It's rarely ever empty enough for someone to go fast enough to spin out. Usually bumper to bumper.
Happy New Year DN. Congratulations on your 200th episode.
