When someone is walking I stand in their path. If they don't like it I tell them they should have to slow down for me and I make it clear I don't deserve it.

Sometimes something unexpected comes up. I wouldn't be surprised if the truck driver didn't notice the huge potholes when he started to turn in. Once he started, he's kind of committed. But god forbid that the cammer has to make any kind of adjustments for anyone else.

At first that seems commendable but at 25 mph it's an invitation for an insane rear end pile up ! In my opinion, the trucker should have moved to the right forcing the beanhead to maintain speed and deal with it on the shoulder of the highway.
Cop clearly has his lights on at 2:01 which mean the cammer yields to him not the other way around. That near collision is the cammer's fault, not the trooper's.

The police were stopped at the scene of an accident, i moved over and slowed down according to the Move Over Law. The sun was extremely blinding and I dont believe the trooper even saw me. I was late to notice him pull out because he was 1. behind my a pillar when he started moving, and 2. I could barely see in front of me due to the sun being below visor level to see anything beyond 50ft and I was making sure my open lane didnt have any pedestrians in it. If I didnt hit my brakes I would have been T-Boned by the cop. Police arent exempt from accidents if they have their lights and/or sirens running, the only time they would be is if they were in a pursuit. I know I was driving as safely as I or anyone else possible could, the only reason the accident didnt happen is because my friend in the passenger seat was watching the cop. I didnt see him until the moment I hit my brakes. Btw "Where are my shoes" is an inside joke about my dad talking in his sleep.

The BMW driver should absolutely lose his license, take an anger management class, and while he's at it, some Driver's Ed, because he clearly needs it. This should have 100% been reported to the police shown with video evidence.

Figure out how much time you need to complete your maneuver, assess whether you think someone is approaching too fast for you to complete it before they would hit you, and decide to execute or not accordingly. This guy did none of the above and just sent it based on how far down the road someone was, that's called bad driving and people shouldn't have to slow down for you to complete your manuever.

He and his wife survived because she insisted on having lap seat belts installed in the old seatbeltless car, but now she's traumatized from the wreck. So they are approaching a red light, this person makes a left turn into a lot while you have not even begin to slow down in consideration of the light being red AND the other person turning. It's completely assholish. If their brakes would have gave away when they did hit the brakes then it would have been their fault. So just go ahead and let off the gas when you are approaching reds and someone is turning.

@@Re69. that’s just incorrect. In many jurisdictions any emergency vehicle whether it be police, EMS, or fire has right of way with just lights or both lights and sirens. Even if it isn’t a law it’s still common sense to yield and proceed with caution if an emergency vehicle has their lights on. Some states have a move over law requiring drivers to move over a lane if an emergency vehicle is stopped on the side of the road or in a lane. The driver in this clip failed to yield completely and complained. No, the trooper shouldn’t have pulled out like that, but the driver was required to yield and could very clearly see the trooper

@@WolfieSixteen Flashing lights = yield to emergency vehicle. Also, passing a cop with flashing lights at any speed above like 20 is a risk, because they have laws based around preventing crashes with them. You move to the far lane, drive at like 20, pass them, then speed up.

Just lights means yield. The driver was two lanes away going under the speed limit. That's more than enough yield.
The speed you indicate is a number you pulled out of your ass. Slowing to 20mph on a highway would be suicide (and I've seen plenty of crashes from people frantically trying to yield or swerve for a cop that was off the road and on the shoulder. In such cases, just slow as much as you can without causing another accident)

Cop even if he did indicate should not have made an abrupt double lane change without making sure it's clear. This is also in the law books for that state.
Finally, state was Maryland, which is full of idiot cops and idiot judges so no matter how right the cammer was, he'd probably still get slammed with fault.

10:10 for anyone wondering, that's not a sovereign citizen (which doesn't exists to begin with) but it's a plate for older vehicles to not get emissions tests or get tags for their vehicles every year. There's tons of restrictions to get these plates, including the miles allowed to be driven, but basicly that car doesn't have to get emissions or tags through the dmv ever again. That's why it says private automobile and exempt at the bottom, but that is a real plate registration number for that car.

That's not what a plate for older vehicles looks like. Vintage and historic plates, and well ALL license plates will have the state they're registered to, printed on them. Not a single state issued plate says "private automobile" or "exempt".

Edit: I also wanna clarify, that those plates are not reserved for classic cars. Typically just any very old car that is no longer used very often, and doesnt really need to get a new sticker every year. That's why the exempt is there. The private automobile is again, just clarifying that it's a rarely used car, and just kinda exists because it's not worth selling or scraping, but Is still owned and used by someone. I think some do have the state, but not all of them because again, mileage permitted for these vehicles is super low, so they're very rarely seen to begin with

I used to read a lot of insurance threads online after I was in an accident and this was a topic that came up frequently. Sovereign Citizens are usually Arses of the 3rd Magnitude. One drunk fell onto my car in a parking lot and refused to pay to repair the hood. I said I'd sue him if he didn't pay up and he said he's not subject to any court but his own and he'd rule against me. Police didn't want to be hassled with his bs. Never was able to get enough info to take him to court. Did run across him a year later. Pulled my own Sovereign Citizen gig. Let's just say his car sustained a fatal amount damage in the brief, but wickedly satisfying war between our nations. 🔨🚗😁

Hit and run is a felony, plate number, heading of the suspect and vehicle description. The longer you wait to call the police the less of a chance the suspect will be caught so basically as soon as they even try to drive away you should just call the police.

Granted, it IS a no passing zone they were in. Truck wasn't in the right at all, but the cammer needs to learn how to read signs. As well, at the end, cammer speeds up to 70MPH, and from my experience, those are 55MPH roads he's on.

In my state, all you have to do is back into a parking spot (changing direction as many times as you need to) and have a working horn. The horn is the more important of the two.

Yeah you may have priority or be driving correctly and everything but you should still be wary at all times and slow down appropriately, don't just keep driving because "I have a cam and they'll be at fault" when the entire accident could be avoided. Like what the guy in one of the first clips did, he had the green but still looked both ways, saw a car speeding and stopped
I commented on another video about this same thing. Some of these cammers have never heard of defensive driving and it shows. If you see something crazy about to happen, get off the gas and slow down, or move into a safer part of the road. They have reaction times of a sloth.

They don't realize that pickup trucks are some of the worst handling snow vehicles because of the lack of weight over the rear wheels, a tiny Subaru handles better in the snow than an F150 but they apparently feel invincible in their big trucks.
And the higher center of gravity. But yeah, seems like a disproportionate number of citizens in F150s seem to have no fear.

@@stevekrein6824 A higher center of gravity as little to no bearing on traction in snow and a vehicles with a higher ground clearance drive better in the snow. The pick up's down side is the natural and unavoidable uneven weight distribution. A pick-up with some weight in the back and higher stance will behave much better in snow than the average car. Winter tires are an absolute must in any winter equation. Any tire other than winter tires on ice is extremely dangerous.
