    Hello, I enjoy your reviews, I was just wondering if you listen to epic music [Audio Machine, Two steps from Hell, Gothic Storm] . I find the Bowers and Wilkins have been the best for this genre for me so far. Have you tried epic music with the Nuraphone?

    I personally use poweramp as my everyday music player that allows you to adjust the trebles, bass, etc. However I use the skullcandy crusher wireless (bass head), how do these compare? I find the vocals and everything okay on the skullcandies but I want these because they seem to have the same impact "tactile" bass you can feel with better everything else. So..
    1. Will these work with poweramp along side their calibration effect
    2. Is it basically a crusher wireless with upped mids and highs?

  • @dzynguy
    @dzynguy Před 5 lety

    nicely done, clear, and concise. as to the ear cups, how long can you listen to music before "fatigue" sets in? do they hurt after a short while? also, with no volume adjustment, what happens when a classical piece is followed by an electronica piece, for example? i would imagine quieter passages may be hard to hear if you cant adjust the volume, then a banging electronica track may seem really loud all of a sudden. it sounds like a volume knob is really missing, even with say itunes tracks that are set to play at a level volume no matter which track you choose. as someone who listens for hours on end i really need to know about the comfort level after a few hours of wearing. thanks.

    • @TheGamingAudiophile
      @TheGamingAudiophile  Před 5 lety +1

      Comfort level for me is up to about 30 mins until I start to feel the weight on my head and ears. The volume can now be controlled from the headphone after the G2 update. Also, ANC was added.

    Thank you very much, I see you on many review channels & I always factor your input over the majority of reviewers since many, even big channels, clearly don't userstand the main priority - audio, as well as youself. Do you think glasses would majorly detract from these? Mine are thin, but not thin enough that they won't somewhat break the seal. Also, do they stay on your head well? I'd love it if I was able to use these at the gym since it would save me needing a second pair of headphones just for that, but I will be buying them regardless just for home & regular travel use. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

    • @TheGamingAudiophile
      @TheGamingAudiophile  Před 5 lety

      Thank you. Glasses may not effect the seal if it is very thin as you say. In terms of stability in your head they're quite heavy and will sway if your head tilts far enough in one direction and eventually will fall off. I wouldn't recommend gym use with these at all.

    Hello and thank you for the great video and review!
    I have checked almost all the reviews in CZcams about these and all of them are really positive.
    Here are few questions that nobody covered so far.
    1)Do they work with notebooks?
    Windows or MacOS is supported?
    2) Does the app exist on desktop based OS's or it's only for Android or Apple?
    3) How about if you personalize them and then connect via Bluetooth to a device without the app? Do they keep the preset profile and immerse settings?
    I'm planning to use these while working and it will be much more comfortable if they could work in the same way as on a mobile device.
    Looking forward to your answers.
    Thank you,
    Georgie

      Georgi Arsenov They work fine with MacOS. I haven’t tried them on a windows computer. The app is only available for iOS and Android. Yes, once configured in the app, the settings are saved on the headphones so if you connect them to another source without the app it’ll sound the same as how you had them configured.

      We are a couple and each owns a Nura. So we created a Profile for each on both Nuras to see if they both come up with the same profiles and believe it or not, they do. So to me it is a proof that whatever it measures, it really does measure it the same way on any Nura for the same Ear.
      Only when listening to my personal profile the Nura really shines for me. So, no, I do not think there is any placebo effect. It is the real deal. I went into Selfridges london today and the staff REALLY were raving about these over sony mk3.. tried them on and MY GOD!! Musc quality SO SO GOOD.. also no much sound leaking so people around you cant hear your music where as sonys they do big time!! All the guys in selfridges were saying these and from trying and testing both i would say these... also it maps out your ear drums!!! I think sonys are fantastic but these are special

    The table you show at 1:30 is totally wrong.
    The Nura Analog cable will offer a 48kHz, 24bit sample rate. Using the USB-A, USB-C or Micro-USB cable will offer a 44-48kHz, 16bit sample rate.
    So, talking about quality lossless audio, the analog cable is better than others!

    The Vmoda Crossfade 2 wireless codex edition sound quite a bit better for music and gaming. I currently have the nuraphones, Bose quiet comfort 35 2's, Sony 1000xm3's, audio technica ath m50xbt, beats studio 3 wireless, Sennheiser PXC 550, bluedio victory pros which are the same as the Wavz Kt-1's, bang an olufsen beoplay h9i's and bowers and Wilkins PX. The Vmoda Crossfade 2 Wireless codex edition blow them all away when it comes to sound and they have Aptx

      @@boveybey9871 it's hard for me to decide. I really like the sound of both of them but I'm going to give it to the Sennheiser PXC 550's. The Sennheiser's sound a little bit better and are more comfortable

      Lmao, I have the V-Moda Crossfade2 CE, Nuraphones, PX7, and Sony XM3's... Nuraphones destroy my VModa's by a mile, not even close IMO, but sound is subjective, and I have been hearing people who have been stuck with bad profiles on their Nuraphones, I have a killer profile, and I heard a friend's who's didn't sound good at all, so it's case by case. Don't get me wrong, I love the sound of my VModa's, but with my sound profile on my Nura's, they can't compete, and here in 2023, I've listened to TONS of other top wireless headphones and earbuds, and these still stand tall...

      How do they sound like

    • @awges
      @awges Před 5 lety

      @@zthreetwo9874 i've owned dozens of high end headphones and these have the best bass by far. Mids and highs are perfectly clear and loud but if the immersion setting is turned up too high then they're could potentially be a bit drowned out if the volume's maxed, but if you're really into bass this could be an advantage. It seems gimmicky but the tech really does cater towards your own sound profile and your individual sensitivity and weaknesses. If they weren't as heavy and didn't slip off your head when bending over I'd say that they're the best headphones in the world. I happily put up with the disadvantages for the sacrifice of amazing sound quality, these are my favourite headphones to date.

    • @TheGamingAudiophile
      @TheGamingAudiophile  Před 6 lety +1

      Well, there is no best overall since headphones can be broken down into categories. Best everyday headphone is the Bose QC35II. Best reference level headphone is the HD800/HD820/HD800S. Best sounding headphone to my ears is the Nuraphone.
