Pie for Summertime | Raspberry Pie Recipe

A COOL TREAT ON A HOT SUMMER DAY! This pie is a classic summer dessert I grew up with and I want to share this classic summer dessert recipe with all of you. We had an absolutely huge raspberry patch when I was growing up and ate this pie all summer long. I have my own small homesteading garden in the city now and my raspberry patch isn't nearly as big compared to my eaters! But this recipe is one I can't pass up making every summer still.

My fond childhood memories: I recall going out early in the mornings before it got too blazing hot outside to pick raspberries (full jacket and pants too) to pick as many raspberries as fast as we could before the mosquitos ate us alive! Haha Lucky for us mom always rewarded us with this raspberry pie if we picked enough!

The ballhockey scenes are precious! My husband always tells me about his days as a boy playing ball hockey with neighbors and friends. It is a nice memory for your son! ❤ I love pies. Yum!!

Awe that is so cute! I never played ball or street hockey at all as a kid, so this is all new for me! But the kids are loving it and we recently got them some more hockey sticks to enjoy it. I hope it will continue to foster some great friendships with the neighborhood kids too.
