    Warm water - 3/5 cup (150 ml)
    Egg - 1
    Avocado - 1, grated
    Tomato - 3.5 ounces (100 grams), finely chopped
    Green onions - some, finely chopped
    Parsley - several sprigs
    Red sweet pepper - 1
    Yellow sweet pepper - 1
    Black pepper - to taste
    Soft cheese - 3.5 ounces (100 grams)

    Eggs are LOADED with fat you must know. You'd lose a lot more belly fat if you ate the ingredients without the eggs. You could use besan (chickpea) flour and or flax meal and water as a binder instead of the eggs and still end up with a fried patty that would be a lot more healthful. Also of course cutting back or omitting cheese and all dairy is a must for good health. I use dairy including yogurt and eggs VERY sparingly for special occasions - same with butter. I would also cut way back on the flour and for lots of taste double or triple all the herbs, make sure there is fresh garlic etc.

      That's terrible, ignorant advice. First of all, it does not take into account the difference between different types of fats, added benefits that things like eggs and dairy carry with them (vitamins, minerals), but also advices for careless handling of herbs, which anyone even remotely interested in phytomedicine, would tell you can be a really bad idea. And that's not even getting into the fact that taste perception is very subjective, so your ideda of "lots of taste" can be inedible for some others.

      Do your research. Check out the actual Science. The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine has compiled all the studies that have been done. Just look up on their website "eggs" or "dairy" or whatever food you have been led to believe is good for you.
      Sure a little bit of fat is good for us if it is VEGETABLE fat. Animal fat slows down our circulation and gives us heart disease and cancer. All you have to do is look around at most Americans most of whom are overweight if not obese or hugely morbidly obese. They are all the ones eating tons of eggs and dairy and meat - all loaded with animal fat which is HARDLY good for us.

      @@FastEasyRecipes I use about 1/2 a cup of the besan flour per two to three cups of vegetables with lots of herbs mixed in. I add a little oil to the mixture make patties and cook each side on medium heat for three to 4 minutes to make a vegetable patty/pancake.
      I more or less use this recipe, "Mixed Vegetable Pakora by Vahchef" and instead of deep fat frying, I mix a little oil into the batter and pan fry patties on medium/ Medium/low for 3-4 minutes on each side. Sometimes I cover the pan while cooking.
      You can make your own version with your own spices additions and subtractions Adding a mashed cooked potato to the mix like you did would help it bind together. But if you follow the tips about cutting the vegetables into matchsticks, adding salt and the besan flour and letting it rest so the wan\ter from the vegetables will mix with the flour and make a batterh, then you don't need to do anything else.
