    Ingredients
    1 ½ cups of fresh squeezed lemon juice (5 or 6 jumbo lemons)
    ¾ cup of agave nectar or sweetener of your choice
    6 cups of water
    1 ½ cups of fresh raspberries
    Directions
    Roll your lemons to release the juice to make them more suitable for juicing.
    Cut them in half and juice them by hand or using a juicer.
    In a pitcher add your: lemon juice, agave nectar, and water. Stir it until well mixed.
    Wash your raspberries and put them into a blender. Puree for about 45 seconds to one minute.
    Put the raspberry puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove the seeds.
    Add the puree to your lemonade and stir together well.
    Chill in the refrigerator for an hour or serve immediately over ice.
    Enjoy!!
    NOTE: If you like your lemonade more or less sweetened then increase/decrease the amount of sweetener to your desire.

    i love lemon flavors. i've been eating lemon pie for years and as a somewhat healthier version of soda i started drinking raspberry lemonade, with the brand i was buying looking like a nice light pink color. more recently i came up with a lavender lemonade that's a very light purple color and it tastes amazing. sometimes i'll put mint in it and it tastes soooo good. i used to also buy these little mini lemon tarts that are just like mini lemon meringue pies without the meringue, and those are good too, i've loved them since i was a kid. don't worry, i remember to drink my water.
    great recipe!

    I have a staghorn sumac tree in my yard and heard its great for making lemonade. I picked a few clusters and in between the fruits are little tiny black or brown flecks of something. Is it bug larvae or part of the fruit, maybe seeds?

    • @SoTastylicious
      @SoTastylicious  Před rokem +2

      Although I have never worked with staghorn sumac, it is my understanding that it generally has worms and black worm poop. You want to gently pull the clean fluffy outer seeds off and use the rest for compost or discard it. I hear it makes a nice lemonade.

    Do you have to have honey?

    • @SoTastylicious
      @SoTastylicious  Před 2 lety

      Instead of the agave, which we used, you can make a simple syrup. Add one cup of your water and one cup white granulated sugar to a small pot. Heat over medium heat until sugar dissolves, do not boil. Remove it from the heat and let cool. This will replace the agave in the recipe.
