Android version coming soon! What’s your favourite bubble tea flavour? 🧋
Creamy thai iced tea 🍵 😋
ALL OF THEM
Mango
Do you eat the pearls?
Hi!
What kind of milk did you use?
Thanks for the answer❤
As an Asian person thank you for getting the factual details correct! I love the little tidbits of cultural history throughout the video. Great content 😊
What are the details? 😊
@@sigille one example I noticed is that she correctly defined ube, which is similar but different than taro. Often times, they are mistakenly used interchangeably. As a Filipino/Asian American, this was one of my favorite videos ^-^
@@boppiemitchell220 I second this! Fil/Am myself
as an asian? which asian?
I'm American, living in a highly cultural area (MS Gulf Coast)
I agree with you ! I have so many friends that are teaching me something new everyday !
Mostly, Vietnamese, French, Cajun, and so much more ! Have an open mind, and learn as much as you can !😉
Ok, funnily enough, I bought the exact same tapioca pearls brand (the green tea flavored version) like, THREE WEEKS AGO, and have been putting off making them because it's my first time and I couldn't find the motivation. This how-to video has the most PERFECT TIMING lol, thank you!
Gotta love when the stars align like that 🙌
Same! Exactly the same pearls
Me too!
Where did you buy them from?
@@biancafigueroa9401 my local asian market
Omgod I cannot look away. This is so beautiful and satisfying and I can already imagine the flavor 😍
My two favorite creators in one place! 😍
The strawberry one tastes like a cedar donated Italian soda!
I’ve made the strawberry milk with matcha (so you get this beautiful green, red, white layers). I highly recommend this combo, sweet, earthy, just delicious.
Uh that does sound good!
Yes!! This is my favourite flavour. I can never find it at boba shops so I make it myself at home.
As a Taiwanese living abroad, I have never bought and cooked pearls on my own though I saw them packed and on shaves in Asian supermarkets quite often. Now the video really motivated me to cook pearls eventually!! Also the instruction in the video is just exactly the same as the way the most of bubble tea shops in Taiwan do. Thank you Sadia😊
I'm from Taiwan and I've been loving PUL for soooo long. I just couldn't stop screaming when I saw you upload a bubble tea video 😍😍😍
THANK YOU Sadia for introducing Taiwan at the beginning and creating these beautiful boba recipes!
❤️❤️
I’ve tried to make it once (my pearls didn’t come out well 😅) but I would love to try again! Starting with the strawberry drink!
Friends, give UBE a try! Aside from what Sadia showed here, we also love using Ube as spread to bread or eat it straight from the jar as dessert! Sending love from the Philippines 🇵🇭
Part of what makes Thai Tea, specifically Cha Yen its distinct taste and aroma is that the tea leaves are Ceylon tea and the flavorings include a bunch of vanilla. It's so strongly vanilly flavored, in particular the famous Cha Tra Mue brand. I kind of just recommend finding Cha Tra Mue if you can and use that with some milk. They also have a great Oolong Rose that works fantastically as a milk tea as well.
Would 50/50 Ceylon tea and vanilla rooibos maybe be a decent option if you can’t get hold of the real stuff? The vanilla rooibos is very distinctly vanilla-y 😄
Thanks so much for sharing this, Thoughtspresso! Will try to get my hands on it 🤓
@@PickUpLimes Is condensed milk vegan? I always thought it was made of real milk.
@@Moe8383 normal condensed milk is not vegan, but she uses condensed coconut milk, which is vegan
@@FilippaSkog oh yes, there are vanilla rooibos that perhaps you can use if you cant find ChaTraMue in your country! I think it's worth a shot
I'm from Taiwan so it's great to see that Sadia introduced boba tea here. Just a quick reminder for those who want to try the recipes, if you can't find the instant tapioca pearls like what Sadia bought, then make sure you boil and simmer it for 3 times, otherwise it would be too hard.
Also to refrigerate what you don’t use.
Hey can I speak to u regarding the boba flavours
I’m sure mine are not instant it took them a long time to soften!
These recipes feel like tiny trips to exotic lands. And if the delicious-looking presentation weren't enough then there was that amazing ASMR sound of the ice and the glass as you mixed the tea, just an overall delight 😍
I didn't realized people today still think Asian countries are exotic lands, lol.
@@cycast3356 Given the word "exotic" literally means from outside or foreign, yes, from where I am which is Europe something from halfway across the globe that offers me a different sensory or cultural experience is exotic by definition. To someone from Asia, Europe would be considered exotic. Your confusion is really not knowing what the word exotic means :)
@@stupor_mundi I'll chalk up your reply as simply ignorance of the word "exotic" that was mostly used in the colonialism and rooted in mostly white culture references for anything "non-white". And no, I had never used "exotic" to describe Europe because it's an archaic term to describe something foreign. So, if you please. Shut the hell up colonizer.
Thank you for this. I always debated making boba at home and you’ve taken the guess work out of it all. I can’t wait to try the recipes.
Thank YOU, Lona! It's honestly surprisingly easy. I hope you enjoy them 😊
And so fancy!! I’ve never had one before!!
I have always loved bubble teas! I moved back to my tiny hometown to take care of my 92 yr old Mom where there's no access to anything authentically Asian . I've been buying what I need off of Amazon. So I appreciate your excellent video instructions on making bubble teas!! Ordering on Amazon now, lol
South Africa here🇿🇦Just found your channel, love your calm energy⭐️ The tea you mentioned in your Thai Iced tea is Rooibos, it’s an Afrikaans pronunciation, it translates to Red Bush. It is an indigenous South African plant and it is my favorite kind of tea🥺
I am also from sa and just love sadias channel! Learned so much from her and felt kinda good when rooibos tea was used here:)
I love rooibos!
Hey Sadia,
A quick tip for the matcha boba drink. Consider layering mashed strawberries with some maple syrup along with the boba, then oat milk, and matcha. It makes the matcha taste more fruity and gives a delicious spin to the entire drink! Thanks for the delicious recipes :)
I’ve recently discovered your channel! Just wanted to let you know how inspiring you are! You have such a calming vibe and just so kind! Thank you for all your videos and resources! I hope you continue to follow your passions!
Thank you for making this video! My partner and I recently stopped drinking alcohol and have been looking for some drink recipes that are fun but nourishing. These are perfect!
These all look INCREDIBLE! I’m adding tapioca pearls to my grocery list to give these a try. As always, thank you for the amazing recipe and knowledge.
Wow! My husband is Phillippino and we ship at several different Asian stores throughout NWArkansas. Boba was always something that intrigued me, but there are so many kinds I could never decide. I prefer the dark brown ones best and Ive even made it with instant tea. 😳 But brewed tea is best. Just black tea, condensed milk and the pearls!
I love the scaling feature on your site 😃 Thai iced tea and the matcha are my fave ❤😊
You make it look so easy and effortless. Love your calm energy and the aesthetics of the drinks and the overall vibe and presentation.
Yes! Finally someone is commenting on her calm energy! Her voice is really mesmerising 😊
Thank you for the last one! I'm always looking for recipes avoiding caffeine, and I find that black, green, roibos and even matcha Teas don't let me sleep and keep me anxious. So happy to have a boba drink with fruit instead.
Oh, I'm a Filipino but never heard of UBE in my milk-tea, definitely something I wanna try. And the bloopers of Sadia having troubles opening the ube jar -- can relate hahaha
Ah Sadia ! I’m so in love with the way you serve !😍❤️ Your photography, recipes , the way you serve and the way you describe ! Big fan ! ❤️💯👏✨
Your video is such therapy for me. The way you choose an angle to shoot a video and video quality are amazing
This looks soo delicious never tried before wanna make one 😋🤤
Hi Sadia, i dont cook but your videos are such a pleasure to watch, i keep coming back 💕
beautiful recipe as always, thanks for sharing
OMG, I have never really understood what is the whole craze about with bubble tea but after watching this video there is nothing I want more than bubble tea! Especially that strawberries one 😍
I love the outtakes at the end. I find myself laughing along and take comfort in that you are human and make mistakes too. Thank you for adding them in ❤🙌
literally just ordered tapioca pearls from amazon so this video is perfect!
Definitely making it with my 7 year old son who loves boba but I don't appreciate how sweet they always are!! Thank you they look delicious and like pieces of art!
Thanks for sharing! This is a treat I haven't had in a long while bc our local Thai restaurant doesn't have a vegan version (they do have vegan dishes, just not this drink). I will try to make some myself!!
Your channel for me is like mood uplifting place.Yes food is there but you make it best.
Thank you so much 💜
I'm your fan from Taiwan! I've followed you for several years!
Love your English intonation and the content you shared about your life.
So amazed that you make a readily available drink in my country!
By the way, I also like to make beverages by myself at home!
And you use the ingredients 4:04 that are common to me but I didn't know their name...
Thank you for recording the excellent bubble tea recipes^^
I cannot tell you how excited I am for this… and I haven’t even watched it yet! I grew up and still live in Victoria BC and as a kid going down to Chinatown for bubble tea was a big thing! Since going vegan (5 years ago) I haven’t had bubble tea. This feels surreal and I am so excited to feed my inner child these delicious recipes! Thank you so much Sadia!
Ahh, I needed this video so much! I was starting to get bored of just putting boba to my tea all the time so I'm definitely trying all these recipes!! ❤️
Boba isn’t something typical to where I live which is so sad but now, I’ve got this video to help me experience the taste for the first time ever. Ahhhh! So excited💃🏽💃🏽
Love love this vid, your whole calm demeanor, positive energy and your channel! Grateful for all that you offer to us all! Love ube as a Filipino here :)
I was literally drooling watching this!! Can't wait to try them!!! Thank you so much for all your amazing videos Sadia!! Super inspiring as always!! 🤗❤️
Something else that is really good, especially if you don't like the tapioca pearls, is to use frozen fruits like chopped strawberries or blueberries instead of or with the pearls. That's how I've always liked mine.
I was literally gonna start making my own bubble tea bc I love it so much but it's not the best spending habit and here is my favourite channel with recipes! 🥰🥰
I have the same kind of tapioca pearl but sweetened it with monk fruit sugar and turned out pretty good.
Yess!! Thank you for this Sadia! I’ve been wanting to make it but didn’t find the motivation to, till you posted this!
learned to make my own bubble tea at home during lockdown and it's be such a treat to have bubble tea whenever I want it!
Thank you so much for the bubble tea recipes. I love bubble teas but they are so expensive. So much so I usually would just get one for my grandson and forego the treat myself. Now I can make them for the whole family.
Please upload vlogs!! It's been a looooonnngggg time and we love your vlogs too ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for this video. I've wanted to try these for the longest time but I have food allergies and can't eat out. But now I can make some :)
Every drink looks incredible! I'm not a fan of tapioca pearls, but I love tea, so I will try the recipes without them. This will help me break out of a tea rut and try something a little more fancy!
Yum! I don't eat dairy so I usually have to pass on bubble tea because most places use milk. I can't wait to try these!!!
You’re such a light !
My seven year old son is a great fan of u.....tht breakfast Nd lunch box ideas helped me,much love to Sadia
Looks so good! Thanks for yet another stunning video.
The strawberry one looks so good.
Thank you for this video. I've heard of boba tea but never knew what the ingredients were. All your choices look delicious and I will try them once I find the tapioca.
the aesthetics in this video are chefs kiss
I’m so excited! I already have the exact same brand of pearls to cook & prepare at home! Tysm for sharing. Have an awesome bubbly day! 😊🧋🫶🏽🌞
The teas really look amazing and inspiring ,the bloopers look great too👌it's a lot of fun watching your videos for a verity of reasons☺️👍
Thanks for featuring ube in one of your recipes ❤️this is so creative, I want to start making my own milktea 😍. We have a lot of super sweet refreshing drinks here in the Philippines with tapioca pearls, gelatin, fruit, coconut milk, (ginilu, guinomis, sago & gulaman) which do need a healthy version🤣if I want to have them regularly.
These look crazy-good. Thanks for sharing something so pretty and fun, on top of delicious.
I have tried replicating the fruity green tea version with flavoured green tea and chia seeds instead of boba. It is super light bubbles but refreshing in summer will definitely try strawberry one
Greetings from Taiwan 👋
This is another great recipe video of yours!
There are a lot of ways to add chewy stuffs into PB milk tea
Even aloe cubes can be added! Anything jelly texture and sweet or mild can work 🤗
I love this blooper reel!! 🤣😭 It made this soooo wholesome 😂💕💕💕
I'm excited to try some of these homemade recipes! Thank you, sis! 😍🧋
thanks for sharing your bubble tea recipes!they really looks healthily delicious!
I am so excited for this!!! I have wanted to have bubble tea but I am sooo lactose intolerant. I am definitely going to be trying this!
I've been your follower for the longest time and I love your inspiring contents, Sadia. However, I have one thing to say, as a Thai person, we do not add food coloring to our tea. There are actually complicated ways of boiling and adding different types of milk for the tea's natural color. I don't know how it's done in the western world, though. So it might be true for western restaurant to add food coloring to the tea. I just wanted to make that clear because it's been on my mind for the past few days. I hope this information is helpful. Love your contents as always 💖💖💖
yeah i get pretty deep oranges and rust colors out of my teabags at home too, i dont get why you would add food coloring at all. (im in the US too)
I’m super psyched with the taro boba recipe! Thank you vm!
Loving your channel Princess!!!💕😃🙏
These look amazing! Haven't had bubble tea in years!
Loved your little tea pot - thanks for the recipes
I love the asthetics in this video. I wish i had a similar space. After the boba boils, I use some of the same water to make a simple syrup.
Thank you for all of your help.We loved your recepies!
Will definitely try them out. Thanks for this amazing video. Love from Kenya 🇰🇪
also all of these look so delicious omg
Those drinks look so refreshing and beautiful. Thanks for sharing 👏👏👏
I had my first boba tea yesterday at a cute little shop. It was amazing and now I understand the hype!
From beginning to end, this video was well stated and quite informative, without being too loud or wordy. Also, I will be making these!
Ooh yayyy!
Just love love love all your videos, Sadia!!! Regularly follow you and there are videos that I’ve watched many times simple because it’s so therapeutic 🥰
Love all your videos and Vlogs. So therapeutic and informative and entertaining all at the same time!
Could you please please VLOG on how you actually make these videos, from shooting to editing, which software, audio recording , and until you make it Final?
Also, maybe a video on nutrition available in vegan food for pregnant women and kids?
These are so beautiful. I knew I'd love this video even though I don't care for tapioca balls. Just beautifully filmed and also I love seeing the flavor combinations.
The strawberry milk one looks so delicious! I can’t wait to try it!

You’ve the most beautiful dishes and cookware. Thoroughly enjoyed this video!
As someone with Filipino blood... you won me over with the first recipe being Ube boba tea. Love that flavor, in like anything, really.
Oh my gosh that strawberry one looks so good! I'm not much of a tea drinker but I love the fruity ones!
I love this channel.
I'm from South Africa and adore the way you say Rooibos.
this looks so good!
I'm definitely going to try these😁
Oooo this looks so much fun to make. I will be sharing these recipes with my family so we can make them at our next family gathering. Thank you 🙏🏻
Aah Taiwanese fan here! So happy to see your creative and wholesome inventions; can't wait to try the strawberry one! 🍓💕
