Bane didn't kill the four-eared mom; he stunned her. I'm not saying Bane is a cool guy because it's obvious he's total POS, but let's not make him into an even bigger devil than he actually is. I loved , like y'all key in on right away, his line to Carr where he said somethin like: "you ask questions like that; you reveal more than you get."
The bad batch episodes are getting me the feels and its quite heavy...

The Bad Batch his been really enjoyable. The animation division for LucasFilm is so consistently great. I’m excited for how this story ends but I just feel there’s so heartbreak waiting for us in the end 😂😂

Okay, let's talk about something for a sec.
The show has Tarkin phoning Hemlock and leaning on him, somewhat about money. Tarkin isn't officially Grand Moff woopdeedoo of anything yet but let's assume he's already doing the job even though he's not been elevated yet. He's up in Hemlock's grill doing mafia-threat kinda dialog.
The Empire, is apparently concerned with money. Let's talk about money for sec.
In these two episodes, we get Phee Genoa having to pay 15k to tank up.
15k of what?
We have, prior to this, some sorta/kinda benchmarks about price, from three different time periods. Solo wants to gauge OB1 and Luke to go to Alderaan for 10K which Luke notes, is almost enough to buy their own ship, an estimate that Solo doesn't dispute; Luke's estimate is probably mostly accurate. At the time of Ep4, 10k could buy a modest starship.
30 years earlier, QuiGon-Jinn tells Watto he has 25k of Republic Dataries to purchase a new hyperdrive for that chrome limo Naboo fronted for their Queen.
In Andor, Mon Mothma was sweating serious bullets over 400k.
We can see a all of this and can infer that a single Republic or Imperial credit is significantly more valuable than any fiat currency of repute in the world today: A USD? A UK pound? Yeah...whatever, the Republic or Imperial credit is way way more valuable than either of those.
Also in Andor, and here's the real kicker by huge long shot, our heroic Aldhani crew lifted 80 million credits. Given what we've already established, 80 MILLION is a ridiculously huge amount of money. In USD terms, it might be over a trillion dollars.

So Tarkin is Skype-ing Hemlock and telling him that he'll likely be murdered if he messes up. I'm weak on timelines here: Is this conversation happening within a frame where the Empire might be still taking pain killers and healing massage after Cassian Andor and his "friends" gave them a NFL football punt-kick right to their crotch?
EDIT: Laura talks about Tarkin's balls, (shrively raisin balls) which made me laugh after I wrote about how the Empire got kicked hard in the balls. Tarkin doesn't have to know what's up with Project Necromancer IF he has access to real quarterly balance sheets and PnLs and all that. He knows that whatever the hell is happening on Weyland is expensive as a mofo and he's not happy about it, apparently because Weyland's in his sector.
John Boyega returning to Star Wars would bring some much needed good will.
Omega's about to be in the day room with those other crayola (tm) colored kids. Omega will see Eva's doll. That outta be interesting for people who care for character dev vs. pew pew. :)
Gonna need a pretty bonkers Asaj story to understand why they undid Dark Disciple. Plus I think it's bad form that reinforces this narrative that the literature is still second fiddle to video.

I'm watching Bad Batch to see how the empire is during the time period. But I really find it hard to care or enjoy Omega's story. I'm interested in the bigger picture and why Palps wants Omega's blood. But that's it. :/
