2:40 The same people who think they can beat a semi are the same people who think an elephant is bigger than the moon. Our education system has failed them.
And that crash is going to leave a mark..
@@cgilleybsw it’ll buff out just like their fragile egos and simple minds. 😂
School can't teach common sense. Either you have it or you don't.
Most likely their parents didn't assist either
Sooner or later, Darwinism will catch up with these morons!
2:25 Dude saved so much time getting in front of that semi in a construction zone!
They gonna have plenty of time in the hospital
2:45 silver car was in such a hurry that he tried to zoom around you and failed miserably
6:20 No doubt, the person that was "escorted" down the road by the dump truck, pissed the dump truck driver off.😂
The car was hit going through an intersection and the driver was killed.
@@kenlompart9905 I am unable to see that in this video...too grainy and far away. If that's true, that is awful.
@@edgeofentropy3492 It's true, it happened in 2019 in Brampton Ontario on hwy 50.
@@kenlompart9905 Then the obvious question is: What was up with the driver of the dump truck?
@@edgeofentropy3492 I don't know for sure but my guess is he was going very fast when he hit the car because he pushed it 750 metres or about 2500 feet.
5:50 Your saftey department would like a word with you driver... while you may have had right of way, you did nothing to prevent an accident with a car that was clearly in your line of sight on the drivers side. Because of that and the legality of last clear chance, you would more than likely end up terminated as insurance would assign you a percentage of liability for failure to avoid.
Your comment "guy thought I was suppose to let him over" would be your termination statement as it shows you were fully aware of situation and did nothing to prevent it - you have a CDL which means you have a greater legal duty to prevent and avoid collisions. You did not do that here. It would demonstrate negligence on your part and result in loss to the company.
Because of that, if you were one of my drivers, I would terminate your employment on the spot.
Not to mention let the driver of the Olds, and his family, have a go at the truck driver inside of a locked room
8:00 Pickup driver is totally clueless about how long it takes to stop a loaded semi. He almost got hit again when he pulled off and stopped.
Saw that too clueless even how he got to that lol
5:37
If i were the cutlass owner, Whether i was legally right or not in having that spot, my car would be more important. Everyone around me can be a dinkleheimer all they want, cut in front of me, flip me off..imma make sure there is ALWAYS adequate space around me for the stupids.
My car is more important than being "right."
The car driver was wrong tho which makes it even more amusing.
The Olds was definitely in the wrong. But the real question here is how does the truck driver see a car like that and just not let him over. Another thing I don't understand is why is it so hard to just let people over. Certainly much cheaper than any repair bills.
@@juniorxj91 Never drove a big truck, huh? If they are forced to slow down, it takes many miles to gain back the speed that they lost.
@@juniorxj91 murruca?
when the donut says "guy thought i was supposed to let him over" just proves he sped up to cause an accident
#18 The semi truck driver should surrender his driver's license. He caused the accident on purpose.
5:41 NOOOOO!!! Not the classic car.... *heart breaking*
4:30 - the cammer is an idiot. Probably a steering wheel holder. Everyone one knows that when a truck is turning you wait until he clears the turn before you go.
Spread tandems don’t slide.
Who isn't a steering wheel holder while driving?
@@ranlive1 That's what long time truck drivers call newbies or drivers that don't care.
“Guy thought I was supposed to let him over.” You WERE supposed to let him over, it’s called a zipper merge ah
I absolutely agree with this.
I watched it a couple times. He definitely had room but he chose to accelerate right in the beginning. That was a dick move, in reality the car was still in the merging lane.
Thats really the only one that kinda ticked me off
4:12 you should have never been in that inside lane on a left turn like that. In order for you to stay in your lane your trailer would have crossed probably 2 lanes of the opposite traffic.
your comment at 4:32 is inaccurate. the green tractor has a flatbed with split axles. makes no difference all semis should take turns in the outer lane because trailer tires dont follow the same path as the tractor
6:11 "the guy thought I was supposed to let him over"
Ummm YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO! Does no one know what a zipper merge is anymore 🤦
No, no he wasn’t. If your lane ends, you yield to traffic. This wasn’t a zipper, this was a case of IM GETTING IN FRONT OF THE BIG TRUCK AT ALL COSTS!
3:50 I love that there are truckers out there, rocking out to Funkytown.
Lol, caught that too.
I found that funny for some reason thinking back to shrek 2😂
Psst! #3, that was Knight truck, not England
It must be the Canadian in me but whenever I see a car go sliding by like @ 5:56 in #17, I keep wanting to yell hurry, hurry, sweep, sweep.
3:45 that pickup intentionally did it. Watch very closely as they change positions as the semi moves. No turn signal on them either.
4:46 that truck driver has to be doing over 75 mph
4:30 no the idiot in the inside lane was wrong . They have been teaching that since the 70’s !
The 2nd clip shows why big rigs should have bells on them, since they're so hard to see. Especially the yellow, red, and orange ones
Some of these truck drivers need to get there cdl revoked
Just about every 4 wheel driver needs theirs revoked for sure! Walk a mile in their shoes, before you talk BS!
Some of these "truck drivers" in this video are just bad and incredibly stupid.
Too much ego and too little professionalism 🏴☠️
1:45 truck camping in the passing lane and not leaving enough room between it and other cars. Genius!
@3:00 What a beautiful view! ♥
#14 should have easily seen the green truck coming over and slowed down to avoid the collision.
#18 "Guy thought I was supposed to let 'im over." You were. It's a lane-ending zipper merge. you alternate vehicles by priority to allow them in and keep traffic moving efficiently. You can see at 5:37 the White Ram merge ahead of the Caddy just in front, meaning the alternating point puts the Red Classic ahead of you. Instead of acquiescing like you should have, you act like a entitled, flacid, floppy one and accelerate dangerously close to the Caddy and close the gap. I suspect you actually knew all this given the fact this has been submitted anonymously.
Right! Car was ahead of semi, truck driver had to know he was going to come in front because left lane was ending but he never gave him a chance! Do you expect the car driver to slow down for the whole truck BEHIND HIM to pass him before moving before a lane ends? another case of '' I'm bigger than you so move out of MYway!
@@pierredaigneault5615 Lots to unpack here. First, the legal stuff.
The cars in the merging are *required* to make certain it's safe to merge. The "zipper" merge is *not* a legal requirement, it's a courtesy maneuver.
By the way, courtesy is something that is sorely all but absent in today's motorists. As for the driver of the Cutlass, either he's not the owner or he just bought that car already done. If he built that car, I don't think he would have been that reckless.
I've been driving the same car as my daily driver for 40-years and in that time it went from being an older used car to old car to classic to desirable classic. I've become extra vigilent with my defensive driving. In this scenario, I would have let the semi go ahead rather than play chicken; a lesson from watching the 1971 movie _Duel_ staring Dennis Weaver.
Clip #6 1:44 a semi-truck should never be in the far left lane (number 1 lane) of a more than 3 lane freeway, expressway, roadway, interstate
Brilliant move #8.
Proof positive that everything should MOVE BY RAILROAD!!!!
The pickup truck in #24 apparently never learned that you don't cut in front of somebody and then slow down.
1:44 - What was he even doing in that lane?
3:30 Hard to tell if pickup had a turn signal or not.
Good point. Didn't look like it. This clip demonstrates the importance of signalling. Nevertheless, the trailing trucker should still have been paying attention to the road ahead.
It looked like the pickup was indecisive as well though.
2:30 Best case of instant karma! And I'm glad the trucker had a dashcam cause you know they would try to blame him/her!
They will give anyone a CDL. I use to have a driving school come thru my truck stop and an instructor was complaining about a student. I asked if he was going to fail him. He said the state (government) pays for them to go to school so if they pay they pass. 🙄
That's on the school for not having any standards. If they're passing students just so they can get money from the DOT, then they're the problem.
3:30 the pickup driver did absolutely nothing well in that video except cause an accident. The typed in comment is absurd.
...poor cutlass... usually classic car owners are far more cautious
That first clip where the SUV signals he is coming over was enough for me to know you haven't been a truck driver very long if your worried about that and include that in this video I don't need to watch anymore of this video because you're one of those drivers that complain about every driver on the road instead driving your truck.
2:20 he choose poorly.
Great movie scene!
5:54 That guy driving the car is a stunad of the first magnitude
I don't even like those models but that was a shame, that car was nice
Every driver needs to watch this video to understand how destructive road rage can be.
4:00 Funky Town. Best song in the disco funk synth pop category. Crank it waaaay up.
At 6:35 that dump truck driver probably lost their license and went to jail. You dont push a vehicle at speed without noticing it spewing smoke and screeches everywhere. At very least it's reckless endangerment at boarderline felonious.
That's what I was thinking, even if you can't SEE a car that you've hit, you've got to feel that the truck is not accelerating properly, hear the screeching, see the billowing smoke? Was that dump truck driver high on something? I can't find a news article for this specific event, only one from Toronto where a guy pushed a Mini Cooper for half a mile before stopping. He claimed he "didn't see them."
The car was hit going through an intersection and the driver was killed. The truck must have been going very fast because that's how long it took to stop.
I thought it might've been brake failure or something. Wish there was more context.
6:20 Extreme case of FAFO.
#14 was in the wrong lane, shoulda been behind the peterbilt lol
4:25 - ummm, that truck's axles CAN'T slide!! The cammer should have laid back some to allow for the tracking of the flatbed's trailer.
2:23 - RendezVOOOOOOOOoooo
6:58 Sorry no stop sign at that intersection that I see ZERO!
1:31 is no one gonna talk about this??? Where’s the braking!!
#6 is definitly in georgia, typically those hammer lanes come to a stop a lot faster. Also it's illegal to be in the left two lanes as per the sign lmao
Good afternoon
6:35 I may be wrong but there was another channel or this one that posted a clip of a big rig of a car that pitted themselves and the big rig took their sweet time slowing down and dragged them probably a quarter of a mile. I wonder if that's the same one but we finally got another perspective uploaded.
6:14
I wonder if that is another view of that clip where the truck pushes the car for 30 seconds(i counted). Then the "lady" gets out and pulls a knife on the trucker.
No, this one was in Brampton Ontario and the driver was killed.
I love your videos
Eric B. needs to learn to let trucks make their turns before proceeding.
#8 & #9 that what you get 😅
5:14 is the boys coming back from the auction! CoPart? They’ll buy a bunch of run and drive wrecks and try to hook up a tow bar and bring them all back home! I’ve seen it many times.
7:53 you can say that again. Great editing.
And Again And Again And Again...........
😂😅🤣
What England truck? That was Knight.
4:32 Those axles are fixed, they don't slide.
The bigger issue is that by many , maybe all, jurisdictions the cammer was in the incorrect lane. When making a left hand turn you are required to be in the right most possible lane. It’s been a while since I’ve driven otr so unsure of exact driving regs regarding that.
The white truck never should've been on the inside turn lane, that never works out for a truck
@@micbroc6435 I dunno about regs, but it is common sense. On the other hand the second truck made the turn just fine. The first one would have drug his trailer into a car if the truck wasn't there.
The rear axles on the trailer are adjustable. They can be moved depending on the load or route.
@robertheinkel6225 There's about a 99% chance the axles on that trailer do not slide. I don't think I've ever seen sliding axles on a flatbed, probably because you can adjust the load for weight.
No. 14 collision is caused by the cammer not paying attention, should have let green go first
I can't come up with a logical thought that justifies what the trucker did at 5:38. The red car was clearly in a good spot to merge as their lane was ending, but the trucker decides to speed up and hit the car? Could have killed someone for what? Is that truck faster than a classic 442? Is it faster than any random POS economy box? Insane and inexcusable behavior. I hope the driver is out of work and paying punitive damages at some point. They are a danger to civil society.
Story line teller, just so you know for later commentary, like in the clip here where flat bed truck comes over into front end of camers truck on the dual left turn, flat beds have fixed tandoms, they don't slid.
7:51 Why repeat the description? 2x word for word.
@1:50 exactly... how did the red truck miss the little grey car... 😳😟that was close, he did miss the car right??🤔🤨
0:50 too fast for conditions.
2:25 Did anyone else hear Waylon Jennings in their head saying "Looks like those Duke boys have got themselves in a heap of trouble again!" when the SUV went airborne? No? Just me? Dang. Time to take my meds again!🤣🤣
#8 2:20 Gave me feelings of schadenfreude.
5:40 Just let him in?
NO
The idiot in the car was wrong, and was at the cab, not much the trucker could do.
@@Buckaroo543 Bullshit, listen to the speed up and the tone of the guys voice. He was wanting to punk someone out and did that on purpose.
@@Buckaroo543 Trucker saw the cara but decided not to let him in knowing the car had to merge. Trucker sped up and kept closing the gap which was his fault as he knew the car had no choice but to merge
@@Buckaroo543 _"The idiot in the car was wrong"_ Wrong. The semi driver was. He did this on purpose.
#14: That flatbed trailer has a 10' axle spread; there is NO ADJUSTMENT on that type of trailer.....
5:00 I work on that stretch on 85. It's Hispanic people coming from the Carolina Auto Auction. They will go there and buy junk, tape them together, pull them illegally and then take them to Central America to sell. Ive seen a Dodge Caravan towing a truck with a trailer attached and a car on the trailer.
4:30 idiot cammer could have shown some professional courtesy to the other truck plus being in his blind spot I do believe he’s at fault
6:17 The pickup with the trailer in front of the cammer sees the smoke coming down the road towards them and slows almost to a stop to assess the situation before getting out of the way. Looks like the truck coming in the opposite direction had a beef with a car a mile or so back that got out of hand and he's either too mad, too drunk, or too stupid to stop. At the end of the clip you can see a cop SUV ahead of the cammer doing a U-turn to go find out which one it is. I hope that clears it up for you.😃
The car was hit going through an intersection and the truck must have been going very fast because that's how long it took to stop. It happened in Brampton Ontario and the driver of the car was killed.
Whoever is dubbing audio onto tracks... Stop it... Just stop it..
I am sure I have seen all of these before.
2:28. Hahahahahahajahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
These day dreaming? truckers are a menace. Every bit as bad are these cars trying to squeeze the semi and coming up short...
At 4:30 not bt. Can see pulling trailer in left hood mirror after hit
#23: Department of Redundancy Department????
TF is going on? 😂
Good Afternoon y’all TGIF #1
🤣
7:45…. The driver put himself into the woods…
The person @2:31 took off road 4 wheeling to an extreme level. Must not have had a lot of experience shooting off the highway and into the woods. Yet real men don't need any fricken exits or roads.
#14 he should've been behind the green truck every driver knows we turn from the farthest turning lane aint no secret
4:20 Cammers fault, all truckers know its the LAW to turn from the outermost turn lane aka from the right most left turn lane or the left most right turn lane. The cammer is not bobtailing you can see his trailer in his fender mirror. And nowhere in the US are there duel semi turn lanes right next to each other with that little room.
These are all old videos
4:14 #14 There's a lot to unpack there. First, you can see the trailer the cammer was pulling in his hood mirror, therefore he absolutely should not have been in that lane. Second, the flatbed was a spread axle. A healthy portion of those trailers cannot slide their trailer axles. Being a long hood Peterbilt, the driver would have to make that turn very much as he did. Flatbed driver should have been watching his mirrors carefully to avoid contact with vehicles to his left. That is his error. The cammer should have been aware of his surroundings and had plenty of time to avoid the accident. Actual fault goes to the flatbed, as he failed to maintain his lane. Both drivers get assigned a preventable accident, as both failed to use proper defensive driving strategies.
#10: WTF the slow guy spins out and the excessive speeder zips by okay?
6:05 "This guy thought I was supposed to let him over." YOU WERE, it's called a "ZIPPER MERGE" not a "Let's destroy a classic car because I'm an AHOLE merge"!!
Dude needs his CDL and man card revoked!
The guy driving the truck could have let him and it was a dick move not to, but there's no law that says he has to... It's up to the person merging to do so safely, The guy driving the Cutlass tried to bully an 80000 pound truck and destroyed his own car when he failed... It's not like he couldn't see the huge truck beside the window when he turned into it.
@@rayharris5097 The guy driving the car was AHEAD of the truck at the merge point. The truck SPED UP to prevent him from moving over. Considering that the truck accelerated to a point that he was TAILGATING the car in front of him, AND the fact that it takes 2 vehicles to MERGE, and ADDING IN the rule of "reducing speed to avoid an accident", this falls 100% on the truck driver.
@@mikeh8416 You can argue with capitol letters all you want, it just shows you're arguing with emotion and the law takes zero account for emotion... The truck didn't didn't break any laws. He's not required to slow down so someone can merge, it's 100% on the person merging to do so safely. The truck was driving strait ahead in the middle of the lane and the car rather than stopping when it was clear he wasn't going to get let in drove into the truck anyway... Not just once but twice.
@@rayharris5097Ray trying to educate these dipsh*ts in the comments is like trying to debate a fence post. But you’re right, they think their butthurt feelings play a role in the determination of fault here.
The 5:40 mark that driver clearly could have backed off of it and let that car in . that car was a full car length but nall he sped up. I hope the trucker got that ticket. The position that car was. Easly could have been a zipper merg
Yeah, trucker, you actually were supposed to let him in.
I agree that trucker was an @$$
The dashcame sees more than the driver... thats called a blind spot.. but still i do agree when youre merging in a zone like that you gotta watch out for the idiot 4 wheelers.
Maybe so, but if I had that car I would be a lot more concerned with keeping it than with being "right"
@@adamkatthis comment clearly shows he knew the car was there, he was just being an ass
Too many truckers in this NOT driving for conditions, when it's icy outside and cars are going slower DROP YOUR SPEED! That last one especially, you can see the roads obstructed with heavy dust, assume someone might be wrecked out so you don't join em.
The vehicles at 5:08, were just bought at auction. The drivers don’t care what they look like.
17. Too much ego to play zipper merge properly. No real effort to apply to brakes.
Turn in your CDL and go flip burgers.
That was #18
You obviously are referring to the Olds driver, but why would he have a CDL? Trucker did nothing wrong, Olds guy is the egotist.
#23 why would the cops be looking for any other drivers? The black SUV hit the pickup truck after swerving to avoid the cars ahead so the crash is all their fault (they were following too closely and this was why they had to swerve). I hope the cops also charged the parents for not having the kids wearing their seatbelts.
I will never understand why people want to mess around with semi truck drivers. They will always come off worst.
4:30 cammer. you must be real new to trucking. Turn in your cdl
Yikes 🛞 😮
6:36 How do you have a classic 442 and be that stupid?
Why did the truck hit it instead of letting it merge?!? Curious what insurance and the trucker's employer (if they have one) has to say about this cammer's reckless driving.
@@brentlanyon4654 REGARDLESS of right of way, the 442 driver is a dumbazz
