Tone Arms | Tone Arms At Home | Workout | Quick | Intense Workout
Welcome back to Thursday Workouts. This week, we are doing an arm workout, no-stop for 6 minutes.
Now, this may seem like its going to be so easy and simple, but let me tell you - its HARD! I remember when I first started doing these kinds of movements for my arms, they would burn and Id only last until about halfway through.
Although this arm routine is short, its very effective and tones your arms and shoulders. No equipment is needed, and you can put on your own music and just go for it.
I love doing this whenever I want to do an arm workout, so I hope you all enjoy!
Love, Holly x

Hi Holly. Do you have any idea why my neck would hurt more than my arms doing this? I'm going to persist but the pain is excruciating!
@@andrearadford8280 try to not tense up, focus on the movements coming from the muscle being worked and not the neck. shoulders should be low and relaxed not high up, neck and head should be neutral/relaxed and not tensed! Hope that helps!

This workout has massively changed the tone of my arms. i went from flabby arms to completely toned and i’m so proud of myself honestly 😊🥺. i am never someone who usually give reviews but i’m more than happy to motivate someone else to do the same as well 💪🤜
How long did it take you?
@@phenomenalyuzed it took me about 2 weeks to see the change in my arms but the first week is the hardest because your body is getting used to the change so hang in there 🫶🤜.
@@fardowsawarsame4295 thank you. I was looking at my arms today and their sizes are unbelievable. I'll start tomorrow morning with my routine workout. Thanks for the encouragement.
Amazng work!!
For how long did you do this workout?
Hi, I started this workout in early May. Took me about 3 weeks to finally get through the workout without putting my arms down. I was elated!!! I've lost 3/4 of an inch from my flabby arms since, while also using Eveline Slimming and Firming Serum. Not sure how much the lotion helps but I'm giving it a try. I'm at the point now where this workout is becoming too easy so I may start using some light weights. Hang in there! If this 65 yr old grandma can do this, so can you!! Persistence, patience and determination...you got this, don't give up! One last note...make sure you take rest days, your body will need it. Blessings to all.
Wrist weight bands are good!

Thanks, Holly! I’m enjoying your arm workout. I’m in my 60s and have nicely sculpted and stronger arms now 👍💪🥰
Actually gonna be real here and share my progress with this (As I'm taking the next few months to focus on toning my arms)
Days 1 & 2: Ouch. Had to take breaks as my arms hurt, but that's totally okay! My muscles definitely feel worked!! (Updates to continue :)]
Week 1: Getting better now! My muscles feel more defined, and I'm able to do the entire workout without a break (But I highly encourage taking breaks if you need them)
Week 2: Still going strong!! The workout is starting to go by a lot faster, and I'm getting through it easier by the day
Week 3: My arms are starting to look so much better, it's really encouraging! Obviously I'm blending this with other workouts, but I think this one has really done it for my arms. Godsent! For my friends out there who struggle with commitment (me), this is your sign to try this one for a couple weeks-- at least-- and see if it'll work for you like it has for me :3
I hope this helps me do my hair without my arms getting tired

I've been doing this twice daily everyday including weekend. My arm is less flabby and stronger. It was difficult on the first week but i kept going. Now it is part of my routine before i start work and after i finish work. I'm almost 50 and the flabby arms is showing. Thank you Holly!!!
Been doing this for a week and today is the proudest I have been. Was able to finish the workout without a break.
me at the beginning: Just 8 minutes, how hard will it be?
me two minutes later: fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuckkkkkkk
My mom looked at me and said, “You think these easy workouts are gonna work? Anyone can do them!”. So i made her do them.
AND THE REST IS HISTORY.....
I'd like to learn more about the HISTORY 😂😂 how was the results??
this is my dancing account I have been doing these for the last 8 days and the first three days, honestly, were me laying goose eggs. But I have lost 1.5cm off my left arm and a little less than 1.5 cm off my right arm. (Note : I am very fat and most exercises give me a lot of result. I have seen that the closer One is to their ideal weight, the less effective the exercises turn out to be)
Hhahahaha
Ankita Dutta How are the results now after 2 weeks?
Ankita Dutta do you do this every day? Am I supposed to rest my arm a day between or can I do this every day?
I am going to commit to doing this everyday until my wedding!!! 74 days and counting.
Good luck !! It’s hard but when your body gets used to it you’ll do great so it’s okay if you drop yours arms for the first week or so. Congratulations on getting married ahh so exciting!!
Thanks for sharing this exercise routine and taking the time to help others. These exercises are helping my shoulders and neck loosen up. So grateful! Keep being awesome!
Her: “Don’t put your arms down the whole time!”
Me: “I bet I can do that....”
Me 2min 30sec in: “Oh no.”
Ahahha it gets easier with practice 😚
Holly Dolke Haha, I hope so! I’m trying to keep up with it and I did do a bit better today, so I’m hopeful. Thanks again for the awesome video! 🤗
Kyra S BAHAHA me at the exact same time 😛
Exactlyyy! I had to pause at 2:45 damnnnn
Her workouts are so amazing, and you always think they're easy at first until you actually do them😅😂 SHE MAKES IT LOOK SO FRICKIN EASY, KUDOS!
This was soooo me earlier this afternoon. I completed it for the first time. I couldn’t even grab my water bottle afterwards 😩🤦🏽♀️💯
who the hell is this woman and how have her arms not fallen off yet.
She is crazy
LOLLLL

it takes like 4 to 5 days to practice to do this without breaks
@@dealchoren926 good to know
day 1: done, few stops
day 2: more stops, not sore in morning from previous day.
Like for updates to remind me!
On an honest note I love when I feel soreness during a workout and within the first 2 minutes I knew this was the one! I am a very impatient person with adhd and the fact that this was so quick and intense is lovely!
WHAT ABT TODAYY- YOU GOT THISSS
Keep it up and yeah I agree with you
Holly, this was the first of your routine that I worked several years ago! This routine remains my favorite start of the morning arm routine while the coffee is brewing! It’s a testament to how great this routine is by the number of recent comments you continue to receive on this workout!
I finally did it guys, I've finally reached the point where this is not enough for me and i have to do more!!
Yesss love to hear it, well done 😚
How long did you do it!
How are your arms?? ❤️
@@Clairvoyantkel did this everyday for almost two months, super hard at first but it got easier every single time! just gotta work on your breathing cus it’s really helpful
@@shel-vyumbaciaolivo5799 my arms are leaner than it was when i first started! i usually do this and then dumbbell workouts after hehe

Damn. 😂😂😂
What it means just gave birth he he
I laughed 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Its been over 2 months since my kids have been doing this workout. Ages 13, 11, and 10. They are always flexing on everybody now lol. Their self esteem improved as well they've been dealing with bullies lately so I have decided to build them. They are toning quick, mean while I'm still flabbing lol. Thank you Holly

What about now
@@Leo-qt9hg If you wanna get toned arms, you have to first build muscle in your arms by some form of resistance training like lifting weights, then cut off the fat after you have built the muscle. Dont be fooled. Save your time.
I’m a 64 year old woman and after doing this 3 or 4 times a week since my gym closed for Covid lockdown, I can wear sleeveless dresses for the first time in a decade. Thank you Holly!!!
Youre more than welcome!! 😚
HI MOM!!!! You're a total babe!
Omg YESS
I *LOVE* this. I love old women, I love them even more when they comment!!
Is that weird? There just divas and thats amazing!
"Don't drop your arms during this entire workout" yeah so about that... 💀
✨️This is my day 4 of doing this workout, I'm thankful to be able to do it .. and most thankful for you, Holly Dolke, for sharing this ..🙏🏾💜💪🏾
I’m pregnant and I have rough pregnancy I can’t be active as much. I noticed my arms becoming flabby without my usual workouts. Tried this for twice a day 2 days in a row, I swear I feel my arms are getting firm. So grateful for this video. I can sit and do it without equipments.
Awww I'm so so happy reading this! Congrats on your pregnancy and I'm really pleased we found you something that feels good x

She used to it already. I think
She said “if you want to add some resistance you can”. Gurrrrrrl I was dying during the workout without any weights how much more if I’ll add one. 😂
It will get easier ❤️
I did add a tiny little resistance... It wasn't that bad, but I was definitely tired.
Restraints are you for real men and women I em definitely not 1

😂
That means it worked!
Filiz yes so true that is how my arms feel
To anyone struggling for motivation: I’ve been doing this workout for about a week. It was incredibly painful the first few days but I can already do it without putting my arms down. My arms have less fat and I can feel much more muscle definition than I did originally. My arms have always embarrassed me but I’m already feeling more confident 😄
you can do anything you put your mind to!!
Thks for the encouragement
thank you, so ready to feel more confident💪🏽
how many times do u doo a dayy?
@@d4ilyqis I’ve been doing it once a day, every day. I’ll take one or two rest days a week depending on how sore I am.
I'm back after a long time of not doing these. I've been doing lots of yoga, but my wrists are hurting. This popped into my head to work my arms without weight on the wrists!! Woo hoo, did it, no breaks, feeling it, and love it! Thanks 💪🏽
I have been doing this for 3 weeks now, and I changed from struggling to complete once to finishing twice consecutively!
Surprising side-benefit: my tennis skills got greatly improved given the better arm strength and muscle control!!
“You guys could add resistance”
NO ❤️
🤣🤣🤣
Jesus Christ loves you xx
My thoughts exactly
I can't even imagine using resistance. Not even a 1 lb weight! My arms are heavy enough 😌
Today is my 3rd day, I think my arms may fall off
my arm hurt like hell, hope this workout is the one !
for anybody who is reading this, 2021 is your year, lose weight in silence and don't let anyone ruin YOUR moment !!

first day pray for me to continue please!
I came to this video because I can hardly do two push-ups and that made me feel like my arms weren't very strong. I tried it out and I'm proud to report that on my first try I didn't drop my arms even once even though it hurt. Gives me faith that my arms are not as out of shape as I thought and that I can definitely improve!
Guys I finally completed the whole arm Workout without stopping 🥺😭 I’m so damn proud of myself!! A tip: breathe in and out to sustain your energy!! Go get your dream body girls and boys!!
Unreal! Well done lovely x
@@HollyDolke love what you do!! 😘
the breathing is really important. When the burns gets to a point where you want to drop you must breathe in deeply and exhale few times. Just concentrate on that instead of the burn, it helps!
im so proud of you!! 🥺🥺🥰
OMG TY FOR THE MOTAVATION!!!!
“It’s burning means it’s working” Holly’s line in one of her workouts at it’s the TRUTH
mine hurt but they didn't burn T_T I weirdly like the sensation [burning]
I mean mine were on fire I hope this works tho
@@gachadog2460 did it work is there any change
You can’t spot reduce fat
congrates !
I'm so determined to do these! Perhaps documenting this will motivate me (or others) so....here I go sharing a month-long journey.
DAY 1: Ugh. Difficult. Put arms down 5 or 6x, 3-5 sec.
DAY 2: Fell off bike today (I'm OK). Arms NOT having it. I'll rest up try again tomorrow. 😒
DAY 3: Muscle aches from fall. Arms down 3x, 4 sec each. Watching a movie kept me distracted!
DAY 4: Lowered arms 4x, twice for 2 sec, twice for 5. Ugh. Still finished.
DAY 5: Mildly easier. Lowered arms 1.5x (halfway for 1x but I stopped myself)
DAY 6: Finally! Kept up my arms and it SUCKED but omg I did it! Listening to my own music likely helped but still! Hopefully I can do it again tomorrow.
DAY 7: Woohoo! No arm rest at all! Still hurts. My music definitely helps!
DAY 8: 3rd day of no arm-lowering. Still BURNS! Waiting for easyness.
DAY 9: No arm rest! Still hate, but persevering.
Arm circumferences (shoulda been measuring from getgo but oh well--> L35.6cm, R38.1cm
DAY 10: No arm rest. Teensy bit less burn but not yet effortless.
DAY 11: Finally feeling a bit easier. No arm rest!
DAY 12: No arm rest. The burn is lessening! I even used "Greyhound" by Swedish House Mafia for a bit extra challenge halfway thru which is the PERFECT beat! Do it!
DAY 13: Finally feeling easier! No arm rest and the burn is weak sauce. So exciting!
DAY 14: Each day is definitely easier. Feels great. No arm rest.
DAY 15: The burn is much less. Trying to move faster now. No rest!
DAY 16: Wasn't in the mood at ALL but forced myself anyway. Mind over matter. No arm rest!
DAY 17: Easier w/minimal burn! Hoping to add resistance by next week (or double the work)
DAY 18: Burns are now mild twinges, barely noticeable anymore. It's officially easy!
DAY 19: Still shocked (and grateful) how easy this has gotten. Very ready to up the challenge.
DAY 20: Last day before ramping it up. It's too easy now and I'm going for more!
DAY 21: Used 1 lb wrist weights. Definitely harder but did better than expected! Lowered arms twice for 3 sec each time.
DAY 22: No arm rest using 1 lb weights each! Still tough but getting stronger.
Arm circumference: No change, both arms, which is SUPER discouraging but I ain't stopping. Hopefully continually incorporating weights will help.
DAY 23: 1 lb weight each arm, no rest! Still kicks my butt. Stretching a MUST.
DAY 24: 1 lb weight each arm, still tough and burns. No arm rest!
DAY 25: Out of town but did the entire session 2x in a row w/1 min rest in between
DAY 26: Rest day. No chance to perform at all. Feels weird.
DAY 27: No arm rest, but combined with 7 min Extreme arm burn session (lowered arms 3x)
DAY 28: Rest day due to having literally no time on last day of VACA. Flying home tonight!
DAY 29: Vacation threw off my rhythm! 1 lb weights each arm, no rest, but omg it burned!
DAY 30: 1 lb weight each arm, no rest. Still sucks lol
After 30 days, I can definitely see the appeal of these workouts and am eager to try others with new challenges. I can honestly say, though, that I do not see any hint of muscle definition on my arms and the circumferences remained the same, despite my FEELING stronger. It's hella discouraging but I won't give up. I'll return with an update after implementing heavier weights with more robust workouts. Thanks for tagging along if you did!
how’s it going?
@@nocluewhattoputforthis So far so good! I've been able to keep my arms up the entire time for the last 3 days, but...not easily. Still burns. I'm anxious for it to feel effortless. But...not quite there yet. Hopefully by next week!

To everyone who feels like this workout is hard:
IT IS, but let me tell you, I’ve been doing this workout for weeks now. The first time I’ve tried this, I keep on dropping my arms. I pause for 7 times! But after a few days, it got better! I can do this workout TWICE without having to drop my arms. NOT EVEN ONCE!!! Seriously!!
I’m not even kidding when I tell you that my arms are toned now! My mom’s also surprised because it looks really good. I can wear tank tops again!
My arms are strong too. I can hold planks for longer minutes and I used to hate up and down plank, but it’s my favorite now.
Thank you so much, Holly! Love u! Good luck on your pregnancy! ❤️
You’re more than welcome! Thank you 😚
Yes I know it is a real good workout, I did this workout for 2 months found it easy by the end, I then decided to do it with two 800 gram hydro flasks 1 in each hand and it tripled the difficulty so if you want you should try this or the Pamela Reif arm with hydro flask workout!!
Goodluck
Having toned arms isn't a prerequisite for wearing tank tops. You can wear whatever you want, no matter your shape or size. It's all about confidence! Just putting that out there for anyone who needs to hear that
Erin Rod of course! But I really can’t wear tank tops because of how self conscious i become. but what you said is right! ❤️
@@preciouscruz6722 I'm sure you look beautiful no matter what! I'm happy you're wearing your tank tops confidently!
