Primary arms is doing a great service with their scope offerings. This looks like a great value. Thanks for posting the video.
nice paint job on your stock. i like that.
Good video.Primary Arms has come out wit 3 new & really nice scopes lately ..This scope in the video.
The 1-8 Platinum ACSS .
And the 3-18 Apollo ACSS for 6.5 Creedmoor. for 1000 yards.
I love them.
I've become a huge fan of Primary Arms optics, reasonably priced and accurate.
My dad dropped a doe this year with his at a little over 300 yards.... I could not believe it .... that pretty much sold me on getting one for next year....an I'm thinking this scope combo is a winner ! Thanks for the video!
Good video, hope you guys had a good harvest 👍
Thanks!!
Great scopes, still never figured out a use case for .450 rifles.
Colder down there than it is up here in Alaska👍🏻
I'll take the cold over the earthquakes! Hope you and any family up there are safe!
300 yds with a round that flys like a brick. Wow
@Highjak86 love these videos, Dress warmer!!! So you can stay out there longer and crank out more vids. Im always learning from you.
MISERSTYLE Thanks man! Haha will do!
WOW! You're making hits out at distance with a cartridge that has similar trajectory as an M203 grenade launcher :)
HA! She's not too much better than the 40mm at this range, but still fun. :)
Next years gun goals: optics. Griffin ffp, Athena, Apollo.
Guns: A couple or 3 ak's and try to man up and finally get an Rpk.
A8vscRrabbit start saving up buddy!! PA optics are best bang for your buck (no pun intended)!!
@@joquin4618 I've been chasing horus style reticles for many a moon. These things are the best thing to ever happen. I dare say even eclipsed the cmr-w.
Even though I'm sitting in my house and it's 68 deg outside. Drinking #BRCC and still shivering thinking about your 19 deg. 40 deg last weekend chilled me to the bone. The 450 Bushy needs to hit the BIG Gong and ring it. Make some music
Refresh memories, Now in Iowa you can use a rifle if it is chambered in a straight wall cased round? Any minimum caliber?
Right! I want to get back out here again once it's not ballz cold out and shoot some more 300+, probably with the Hornady loads that are hotter, higher BC, and more accurate per my testing. IA has quite a few little things governing usable cartridges for whitetail. Essentially it has to be on the approved list and there is really nothing smaller than 357 magnum. All straight walled, etc.
just ordered the 1-8 plat with this reticle. very much looking forward to abusing it.
What's your thoughts on the RPR in .338 now !?!
What mags do you use for the 450? I’m having a hard time finding big bore mags and followers
You were asking about fixing upper wobble previously. I just saw a vid last night on a pin that has a throw lever like a qd scope mount and tightens the top down to the bottom as the lever swells the mid section of the pin. Might search for it, see what you think.
Interesting. Might give it a look then.
@@Highjak86 I think it was demon tactical. They had two models.
@Highjak86 So I heard a nasty rumor today. While talking to a relative who is also in iowa. Sounds like DNR is trying to ban 450 bushmaster in the AR platform for deer hunting. 🤨
What bipod is on the rifle?
Recoil Alliance Atlas
What's battery life
Does it really Ting when a 260 gr tipped projectile impacts a piece of steel or does it sound like a ball bat hitting a frozen baseball? :-)
Haha. Yeah, it is really more dependent on the target type than the bullet, but they definitely ting on this target.
Is the scope mil reticle but MOA adjustment?
Francis Chu Watch to the end of the video.
For this type of optic, there is a "zero and cap it" type of function. Once zeroed, one may use 'hold overs'. The adjustments wouldn't make a difference. If there was a reason to 'dial up and down' then yeah, there may be issue...but again, our M24 rifles' M3A (Leupold 10x40) optics had mil dot reticle and 1moa elevation adjustments and 1/2moa windage adjustments....those we dialed up and down. So, to each owner's use.
I left my wife touch my .450 bushmaster. She was quite satisfied.
charles fleener Lol
gotta luv a PA.......too bad it looks like it's installed backwards.....JS
What kind of hat is that
That one is from a company called Off The Grid Surplus.
Mountain Sounds also at Amazon.... Great hats!
