Norinco Model 213 9mm | Tokarev TT-33 Copy - Zábava
I have used a norinco 213 as a everyday carry for 18 years and it's a great gun
Do u carry with one in the chamber
@@user-td1mr4ol2pis there any need to ?
These are good pistols. I get the feeling he bought a beater and sounds like predetermined not to like the gun. I have one. It works very well. It's not a great gun it's basically a Browning design copy. My dad has a Tokarev and it's been a very good gun through the years. Oh well...
All white people in North America has a grudge with norinco. Most of these guns are well made because if you can get them they are export products. And if you are a reasonable person, with research you’ll know Chinese export means good quality.
@@ralphli2276 Wouldn't really paint them with a broad brush like that. Norinco may have an underserved reputation of being branded "Made in China," but their guns pre-ban are generally considered well made and competitively priced at the time. Their value is increased nowadays due to collectibility, but I have never heard of any complaints about Norinco firearms, aside from anybody back then knowing they were a cheap brand.
Yeah he is.
I have honestly not ever had any issues with any Tokarev. They are my favorite handgun with the 1911 being a close second. I also haven't ever had issues like what are displayed here. That being said, the actual Tokarev TT 33 has proven to me just as reliable as a Glock 17, which is also an amazing firearm.
"Worst Chinese rip off of possibly the worst pistol ever"? I'm not so sure about that, the Tokarev is loved by many because it is a good design, additionally Norinco is and has been a very large and very competent manufacturer and anything they have made should at least work safely and most reliably. Just because you aren't familiar with the design it is based on doesn't mean that it is shit.
I've had my Norinco SKS for 20+ years. Has never let me down. Their 1911s are made from decommissioned railroad ties, grips and metal parts. Very tough material. Many custom 1911 shops that don't make their own guns use them as a base, highly sought after on Gunbroker, Egunner when they turn up.
Their Tokarevs both 7.62x25mm and 9x19mm are very good. If, of course you can get a Zastava brand new, warranty and all, do it. If not and the price is right for the Norinco, get it.
Best AK I've owned other than my underfolder Zastava and Century Galil Golani Sporter(Yes I know their reputation but I've always lucked out with Century) was an NMH-91
Norinco makes good quality stuff. Not as good as a soviet or western made but it works.
You may want to study firearms a bit more. The Tokarev is a great military arm.
You obviously didn’t read up on this firearm!🙁
Gerçek takarov tt 33 7.62.25 Rus 7+ 1 iri diş 11 numara
Have had a Yugo tokarev 9mm and the 213 9mm. Both built like tanks..over 5000 rounds through each weapon over the past 25 years no issues.. Would trust my life to either one .and neither will melt like your plastic guns. Also have a 7.62_tokarev dam nice powerful pistol . all battle proven .
I have owned two Norinco Toks, chambered in 9mm & 7.62 calibers. Both excellent pistols, and all steel, a quality many pistoleros enjoy and own. Both pistols operated very well, with no stovepipes using factory ammo. This gentleman, I believe, had already made his mind up before he got to his range area. These pistols, Norinco Tok, are of a super reliable design and I'm sure this gent had a beater. Tok. Polymer pistols are fine, but steel is preferred by many pistoleros. The plastic grips he referenced are exchangeable with aftermarket grips that really look good on the gun. I use a finger-groove Hogue black rubber sleeve slip-ons on both Toks. He is mistaken about the "only" handgun for self defense is a "high dollar" pistol. Many superb handguns, still out there, are surplus pistols/revolvers in good condition, super reliable, chambered in good defensive calibers (.38, .357, 9mm, .41, and .45) of a time-proven design. Reliable and not costing a leg & arm to buy. Most have excellent service records such as the Norinco Tok of this video. I hope this good man will give the Tok another chance before condemning it to the junkyard. There are plenty of Toks available from China, Rumania, and Hungary, some of these pistols are brand new in the box. Gun buyers on a budget love these budget friendly pistols for self defense and great Sunday afternoons plinking. Thanks for your video, even though I differ with you on the old Tok.
I bought mine back during the 90’s and have never had and issues with it and I have sent thousands of rounds through it. Of course the Norinco SKS I bought at the same time is equally reliable. Maybe I got lucky. I gave my 213 to a good friend who did not have a handgun and he short it a lot.
he said it all he's a plastic gun lover-that says it all bet he hates the 1911 too
I've had mine ever since 1997, I have probably shot thousands of rounds through it, I never had any of these problems I think the gun was either dirty or you was dragging the slide against your hand and causing the problems or bad amo
It's a cheap-o gun... the only reason price has gone up recently is due to lack of import. It's not due to quality.
Do you have one?have u ever shot one?
@@johnwheeler2556 ...you just watched the video of me shooting this gun...
@@Highjak86 I've never had any trouble out of mine,I've had it since 1997 shot thousands of rounds through it
I've shot a few Tokarevs too.
Never had problems as frequent he is.
The worst I've had was a stove-pipe and double-feed.
I think he had a really badly taken care of Tokarev.
That's my take.
The safety is an addon for import regulations. The original design use half cock to function as a safety.
im just lucky my safety still works, just picked one up and god ur right! sketch is how I would describe it.
It's so cold you can't feel the hammer bite ahhh yep
I have had one for over 10 years. The only issues I've had were it refusing to feed Winchester 147gr Black Talons due to the shape of the nose (catches on the feed ramp where the frame ramp transitions to the barrel ramp) AND some other 147gr loads short cycling the slide (Stove Pipe jams). Hornady XTP, Critical Defense and
We can see in the video that the thumb safety works but the reviewer claims it doesn't.
I think these guns are a bit of a mixed bag. I've had mine for a couple years now and never had any issues, but I can't argue that it isn't a bit of a junk gun. It's run well for me.
Side note: my serial number is about 100k lower than yours and cosmetically looks far more "refined".
same here i have one in 9mm and never had any issues.actually it's fun to shoot.feels like a 22 to me lol
1: that safety was put into the gun after manufacture so they could be imported. It was never meant to have a manual safety, the half cock position is the actual safety on this gun.2: that gun looks like it was beat to crap. When I bough mine from Navy Arms, many years back it came with 2 barrels, 7.62x25 and 9mm. And don't go bad mouthing a John Browning design, unless you want you head chewed off by a bunch of old-timers .
The Zastava M70A 9mm is a fun little gun with nice external machining and bluing.
Bigbore Similar looking gun different manufacture
I highly recommend this guy I own it. No it’s not incredibly high quality machining, but it is a very accurate gun can’t go wrong for the money.
Do u carry one up?
Probably one of the most reliable Firearms you could use as long as you do not use reloads the only issues I ever had was with lead reload ammunition other than that flawless very accurate and probably a really good pocket pistol cuz it has a hammer and will not go off unless cocked just my opinion very reliable
best gun ever made .. thank you so much I will love this gun
I hear snow adds 5% more stopping power to any Tokarev variant ;) . Great review bud.
All Outdoors Haha!!
Says he hates one of the most reliable service pistols in history, and yet he points the pistol at the camera 5 times in the matter of minutes
I like this gun maybe needs quality high velocity ammo for best results nice video nice explain.
I love this gun you should not blame this
Mine works very well. No jamming even with cheap steel case ammo can rapid fire no issues I like mine
Ive got this gun and they are worth 500 now not 100 thank you buddy
He is literally jumping the gun on its safety etc without even firing it. He hates the gun so much he is gonna make a video of it. This video is weird, the gun not so much. The gun is fine.
The roll marks you keep mentioning...they may be stamped individually by hand. I've seen some "first" stamping in steel...those appear to be done by a child. Thanks for showing, HJ86...good stuff.
I believe they are - I mention this at the end of the vid. Either way they look realllll bad Lol. Thanks for watching, Andy!!
@@Highjak86 Yeah you did mention it toward the end of the video...I jumped the gun on that one.
Sounds like Ryan Reynolds. Great vid. My dad basically threw this thing at me so I could have a pistol in the house. Lol
U dont need to review this pistol if you are biased from the very first 20 sec of your video.we have these norinco model pistols been firing for past 40 yrs thousands of rounds no issue
Lol terrible review. Biased out of the gate, uninformed as to manufacture dates, and he can't hit anything. Go check out Hickock reviews instead.
Are you somewhere in MN? It looks like a place in the Midwest. Thanks for the video. Keep up the good work brother. Greetings from TX.
I had a problem with a jam in mine . field striped of and cleaned it a tooth brush good with non petroleum based mineral spirits and re oiled it with mineral oil
That's what they ship from factory with.
It runs good but Has problems stove pipeing hollow points . ? May need heavier grain bullets ?
I have a Chinese TT in 7.62x25 ... And let me tell you ,Its a very reliable gun . Never jammed. It's loved by people here. And is a favorite of outlaws here. Although they can afford a Glock, they still use the TT. You just have to take care of it.
Dad has a tokarev. I have never seen that thing malfunction. He has it for the last 35 years and doesn't like anything else lol. Its a tank of a handgun
I have one. I like it. It’s the only all metal gun I have. I have all plastic guns but not a plastic pistol kind of guy, weird. Your expectations for it were too high or something. It’s not meant to be all customizable and drum mags 360 no scoping people okay? It’s a 9mm & it’s nice.
Safety was required for import and was shittily added on for that purpose
Mine has been a great 180$ pistol. Never jammed after hundreds and hundreds of rounds.. very accurate. And the safety works fine lol this is a bad review.
The safety is kind of hilarious, honestly for two years I thought the safety was broken but if you push it forward with a little more force than you should it will engage and probably not slip off. PS this is my 14 year old son’s favorite gun. It also has never failed to fire. Granted we don’t shoot it much and it’s only ever seen blazer 115 and 124 grain
You look pretty natural in your gay pirate pose. Figures you’re an 88 mike lol
😂
Lol. Yeah it comes naturally.
i own on with and extended clip is that bad to have
Good pistol
I have a norinco 213 but for whatever reason the grips and safety are completely different
Why are those so popular to rechamber to 9x23 mm Winchester?
Because it is a very strong action. This guy doesn't really know what he's talking about.
179 bucks plus tax at my favorite gunspot without a magazine shiny oiled minimal wear should I get it?
Pretty sure Vietnam (some department) are still using the TT-33 today, I don't think they are badly design, stolen design? Yes, and also blame the Spanish for it too.
Will it delete an intruder?.
The TT33 is a nice shooting gun. Safety with a loaded chamber is half cock what actually totally blocks everything.
I thought this may be the case and I mentioned it in part of the video that was cut. Even so I was puzzled when I pushed and held the safety forward it wouldn't fire at all as seen in the video which kind of made me question my initial half cock thought. Something is fishy either way with this one.
Highjak86 there are many people complaining about this safety and the Cali aftermarket safety. This thing is made for a loaded chamber and half cock or an empty chamber. Great vids man happy 2019 and more vids to come I hope!
Wow why did you make a video of it, if you hated this gun so much?
$50 USD in South Africa
$120 in Oklahoma
Super like....
arguably, the longest serving pistol design in conflict in the entire world. many moons from now the polymers will serve just as long but i'm sure by then, somewhere out there, some dude will still be packing a tok in whatever caliber.
Does this type of gun have an extended clip
The shop near me is asking $350 for one of these.
I have one that was passed to me for free. It's missing the safety and feels clunky. Scared to shoot it but might be a nice little "ghost gun" for me.
I can't attest to the 213, but I would absolutely trust my life to a TT33 or good made eastern European clone if I had to. It would not be my first choice...but wouldn't feel naked with one. Especially a Zastava one
Why is everybody trashing this guy's video? Just cuz he isn't stoked on your favorite handgun? Guy... The hammer on his gun drops on safe for f!@#'s sake. You'd probably have negative things to say about the gun the same way he did if this was your gun
Clean it up and polish the moving parts...then easy to rack ...never jam...They only had that stupid safety on there to satisfy the requirements of import laws. Just take the safety right off of there. Built like a tank...Some folks bore it out to a 9x23. Plenty strong.
The safety of a firearm is the user. The original tokarev had no safety
Agreed. The safety of a firearm is the user. The original Tokarev used half-cock as a safety. It's all in the user.
@@Thicc_Cheese_Dip I thought that was the second generation. I had thought that the original was made in a hurry so didn't incorporate half cock
That's one of those high tech, Chinese, "dual step" safeties. Oh, a word of caution. . . . . DO NOT appendix carry the damn thing! LMAO
HA!
The only safety these had before they came over to the us was the half cocked hammer
Bro I have this gun and I need to pull my mag out before I am able to shoot a bullet 😢😅
Çok güzel Kibar İnce Bir tabanca ama 7.62.25 kuvvetli uzun menzilli olur
LUX SABUN
Wouldn't make a bad carry gun if u put good ammo and maintain it tbh
Is this replica or not?
Do you need licence to buy it?
It is real (just manufactured in china)
No licensing is required in America.
@@user1acount this pistol can damage your body? Or not?
@@georgegikopoulos5728 Yes, it can be lethal.
*I had a worse gun. Helwan from Egypt after about 200 rounds the locking lug started distorting. I had to grind the lugs to get it to work. A metallurgy issue. it cost me $100.00. I turned it in to a gun buy back to get my $100.00 back*
ERRRGGHHHHH
Sounds like you bought a civilian export version of the Helwan. Those ones had severe quality issues. The military-grade Helwans have a much higher quality and don't break too easily.
@@Thicc_Cheese_Dip yes im sure it was a export version. i was quit disappointed with it
Mine shoots accurate He just has a dysfunctional gunOr it could be operator error
To be fair, it is called a handgun not a handgun, so only one hand is needed
Maybe you hate chinese or any other reason that you are disrespecting them but Norinco's tokarev and other firearms are reliable and robust specially chinese Ak 47 and TT 33.
You sound like Ryan Reynolds
a metal pistol hahahaha plastic glock a t33 in 7.62/25 is a very hot little gun faster then the 9mm that being said many soldiers depended on these guns and they worked very well
Is that some nasty slide-scar on your thumb? ...
.
.
Edit: Should have waited for the rest of the video.
Yeah, from the Glock 20. Check out those vids. :)
It ain't that bad. If that was the only thing u could have or get your hands on and nothing else it would be half way ok then. Carry it for 3 days and then see
Not very reliable but super accurate. I consistantly hit the bottom of coke cans at 75 yards with mine. Paid 75$ for it lol
The TT-33 is a Russian copy of a browning 1908, but chambered in Soviet 7.62x25. The Soviets shared their weapons technology with the CCP. The CCP decided to sell “civilian” versions to the us in the 60’s through the 90’s. The civilian version was changed to 9mm for the American market. American import laws forced the Chinese to install a safety. The gun was designed by tokerov without a safety. The original safety was to put the hammer at half cock. Many Chinese people died from starvation during the great leap forward to make steel to make these guns. This pistol is a history reminder that communism is evil, and that there are things worse than war. It’s not a crappy gun. It’s just worn out and has a stupid safety thanks to stupid us gun laws.
My dad had one og these. His mate had one as well. I learned to shoot with one of these. Let me tell you, hands down the worst firearm I've ever come across. The double feeding issue is common, especially after 3 rounds fired in quick succession. Also, accidental discharge hazard. We had numerous when releasing the slide after a mag change. Steer well clear of this one and be very weary around them when in other people's hands.
Accidental discharge is an easy fix..
Guys nowadays choke up their guns like their chicken
Ryan Reynolds is shooting Chinese Tokarev with a gay pirate pose. I'm on that side of youtube again.
agree Walter & Heathcliffe ............A firearm is not a supermodel or a cellphone or a laptop - glamour and image are irrelevant
Tok are proven fraidy cat
It's more like a copy of a couple of John Browning's designs. But haters gotta hate.
BLA BLA BLA BORED
The Zastava guns are a much better version of these guns for around 250-300 new. The problem with most of the norinco guns is they were cheap and got treated like crap for years before most people now get them, on top of that mags for those things are beat up and don't feed very well.
If you are so afraid of it then gift it to me.
I have one. I love it but it's a piece of shit. I've lost a lot of extractors and springs out of this thing.
Bad work man quarrels with tools
C'mon rip-off Ryan Reynolds, the Tokarev isn't that bad!
I had one of these. I hated it. Would jam or misfeed regardless of ammo at least once every other magazine and bit the crap out of me often. Total piece of crap. I feel sorry for the sucker that owns it now. I refuse to own a gun that cannot be relied upon regardless of any historical significance.
"Worst Chinese rip off of possibly the worst pistol ever." Won't wear eye pro.
Your review speaks for how much you know about guns. 🙄
No clue what he's on about.
This dude is just spoiled by plastic guns never had a full steel pistol I have a even rairer norinco not one issue guns wher machined far better back then I bet that tt has better machining than ur unsupported cast steel chamber eww it’s hevey eww there’s no rial on it kids in 3rd world countries Carey thes somtimes and know how to operate this basic pistol
