It’s reached the point where the man has tried to jump out the window and has tried to shoot himself. Living next to couples who argue like this is absolutely horrible.

It sounds kind of drastic at the time, but over the years the more I though about it more it made sense and even though I never had a drinking problem, his words have stuck with me and now I may have1 or 2 rum and cokes on a special occasion, that it's extremely rare.

lmfao....this brings back memories of my first job as a police dispatcher.....i was only 21 years old and new at my job....i received a call for a drunken domestic situation and dispatched a car to the address, in a not so nice part of hamilton county, ohio...officers responded and settled the situation....a couple hours later i received a second call to the same address for the same drunken situation....i decided to give the lieutenant on duty the second call to respond back to the scene....the lieutenant immediately came back on the radio and said, ''DISPATCHER BE ADVISED, ONE CALL PER HILLBILLY PER NIGHT......all the cops on patrol were laughting their asses off, becasue the lieutenant refused to respond to the scene, but i felt so silly and embarressed .... i never made that mistake again....that's how this crazy shit was handled back in the day.....i never forgot that and it made me a better dispatcher.....ohhh, the good old days......
