- On the 21st of April 2024, Officers were dispatched to a local club at around Midnight. Apparently, a severely drunk customer was refusing to pay his 700-dollar bill and was starting to create a scene, which is when officers arrived.

I keep getting shit in the mail to apply for an American Express card because my credit is really good (but I’m super poor, due to being disabled and having no income besides social security)… I was curious what all the fuss is about with that card, so I read the promotional material in the offer. It basically just reiterated that it gives 4x bonus points, but I laughed out loud when I read what the annual fee is for it. It was around $260 dollars/year. 😂 So insane.

Whenever you slide someone's card, it's declined and they tell you to swipe it again, you know you're dealing with someone who's broke as a joke. This dude has the emotional maturity of a toddler and he's lashing out at everyone because he's mad he has no money 😄
Not always true, I was at the grocery store one time with my wife and kids and had nearly $300 in groceries I slid my bank card and it did not go through! I had over 10k in that account and a Wells Fargo cc with a 25k limit that I have connected for business overdraft. It got declined! I said to run it again it declined again! I had to call the bank and they said there was suspicious activity on my card bc I went to Orlando the weekend before for a family vacation and put the air b n b on it, and all the vacation expenses! So it is not always the case! I was embarrassed while people in line were held up looking at me like a bum! It took Wells Fargo almost 30 mins to release the freeze! I have also had times where I charged my cc and it came up declined and I said run it again knowing I had plenty of juice available and it went through the second or third time!
@jasonv2323 It's different if you call your bank or unlock your card or something. I've gone through that too. I'm talking about people who get declined and they tell you to immediately slide it again even though nothing's changed on their end. If it was declined 10 seconds ago, how's it going to be magically approved this time?

I have a debit card that has tap on it, and there have been multiple times I've gone to pay for something super cheap, only to tap it and have it declined, when I know there is plenty in my account and am sure my account isn't frozen. I ask to run it again, and swipe it, instead of tap, and voila, it goes through, no problem.
I had one bank card and totally forgot I'd set a $300 daily limit and tried to pay car repairs and groceries on the same day .
I worked at a Goodwill in Nashville some years back. Some lady bought about $200.00 worth of stuff. When I ran her card it declined. After running it several more times I advised her to call her bank to see what happened. She did and soon after exclaimed “What do you mean overdrawn?”

If he thinks he is rich and was doing his act in the club from the beginning, he could have easily gotten to hundreds of dollars buying certain champagnes, liquors, and wines for himself and a few "women" he was trying to convice about his fantasy money. There are some bottles in clubs in special reserves that can cost 400 or more each. We don't know that's whatvhe actually did, but it is one possibility.
