I don't know I really don't believe in arresting people over words. Sadly we have a society of people that have been indoctrinated to think that we have freedom of speech and are free in the USA but obviously you are not. The hot head cop whose patients was supposedly being tested had absolutely no patience he wanted to arrest the guy and he did arrest the guy all over words. I mean if you want to take the train to liar for his word he was going to let the man go until the man spoke too much and spoke in a way that he didn't like. The Man's father didn't want him arrested the cops claim do not want to arrest him but they arrested him after he referred to them as d heads. Hmm. A family fight is nothing the police should be involved in. Sadly again we have a society of people that have been indoctrinated to think we need these glorified meter maids showing up to our house to pick one side or the other and choose which words they are going to approve of. Pitiful the people I live among.

I don’t think that that’s the case as in the comments on this and the original that dad may be on drugs to or whatever you know yeah he may have assaulted his son first technically like out of anger because he won’t get clean in this and that but you’re not realizing he did just lose his mother And he is trying to protect his son while also wanting him to get help and not knowing how to let go it’s a very hard balance and unless you’ve been in that situation you really shouldn’t judge though I know you’re allowed to whatever you can call me whatever you want and speculate but I’m just throwing it out there I’ve been the kid that became an adult on drugs with a kid and still mooch off my parents for years until my dad passed away and I got clean and sober and now I have a 20 year old that is doing drugs and it’s hard and I can very well imagine being in this position and it’s very hard and I can only imagine being at this point of feeling so helpless in the moment of losing your mother and then walking out to find your son that you’re so fed up with doing drugs taking a vantage of you and you being the enabler yourself not knowing what the hell to do and kind of losing it yourself I mean put yourself in his shoes so I don’t know you could be right maybe he is on drugs maybe they’re better and maybe the entire family is maybe grandma died of an overdose who knows but let’s give dad the benefit of the doubt he very clearly owns a business and is well off so likely isn’t.

Brother I know you don't fully understand what's going on and that's why you say this. I have been in this son's shoes, and I have put my parents through hell. But they are allowed to change their minds and they are allowed to decided that some types of tough love (ie getting their son arrested) may be too tough. They already feel guilty and responsible for the son's habit, they don't want to add more to the guilt of getting their son arrested and anything that may happen to him while he's in jail (ie withdrawing and potential death, one of my friends had a heart attack from withdrawal and died in jail). It is not easy when your family is suffering from this. They feel guilty and while they shouldn't, because the son is making his own decisions, that's not what they believe in their own heads. Believe it or not, getting into legal trouble actually does significantly more harm than good to an addict, especially one trying to recover, 10 out of 10 times.

He is AN ADULT. Not a child. tell me something chuckles. Who stops a junkie from doing drugs? JUST THE JUNKIE. NO ONE ELSE CAN. So that means the flat fact is its all on the junkie. Americans LOVE to blame everyone and everything else for THEIR BEHAVIOR. And I am a combat medic veteran and a doctor. Home grown American. It infuriates me to hear that nonstop whining from junkies who flat refuse to take responsibility. I see family beaten and killed by junkies hellbent on getting money for drugs. I've rescued children sold for drugs by their "parents ". And their foster "parents ". I hunted for a 2 year old whose sperm donor bonded out of a meth lab charge, picked her up, drove to the river, shot up, and then drove into the river. He escaped. She was locked in a car seat. Ever toe tag a bloated, chewed up body of a 2 year old? He did that classic junkie whine. "It's a disease ". He's in a warm room getting more drugs and she's in a paupers grave. I had a egg donor get tired of her 10 year old son's face so she blew it off and stuffed him in a trunk. I had a guy feed his 8 year old son heroin, fentanyl and Xanax so he could party. Want me to continue or do you just want to keep wallowing in self pity?
