Traffic Stop Turns Up $100,000 Worth of Cocaine

- On March 23, 2021, a traffic stop was conducted on a speeding vehicle in Osseo, WI. While the officer made contact with the occupants, they claimed there was nothing illegal in the vehicle. When the K9 was deployed, she was alerted to the odor of narcotics. Police ended up discovering a rectangular shape object tucked inside a concealed area of the vehicle.

*The District Attorney that dismissed the case contacted me with the following info:*
"I objected to the motion to suppress, filed a written brief, and called the arresting officer to testify at the motion hearing. I argued that the officer’s observations (e.g. the short term rental, the unusual travel plans, the passenger’s efforts to hasten the conclusion of the stop, etc.) rose to the level of reasonable suspicion to believe that criminal activity was occurring. Thus, the extension to permit the K9 sniff was permissible.
Unfortunately, the judge disagreed. The judge found that the defendants’ most incriminating actions (the strongest reasonable suspicion) occurred after the “mission of the traffic stop” had concluded. The judge found that, prior to the officer reinitiating contact with the vehicle, the officer’s suspicions were “just a hunch,” and not reasonable suspicion. The judge granted Powell’s motion to suppress on the grounds that the officer did not have sufficient reasonable suspicion to extend the traffic stop beyond the point at which the officer completed his citations.
Because the judge suppressed the key evidence in the case (the cocaine), I had no choice but to dismiss the case. Based on the judge’s adverse ruling in the Powell case, I also had to dismiss Larkins’ case.
I write to let you know that my office didn’t dismiss these cases willingly. We fought to defend the work of law enforcement, and to hold these defendants accountable."

Yeah that was dumb af to be speeding with that kind of weight in the trunk.
Dude is actually right about the rental car. One way costs triple to quadruple the amount as an all day rental with unlimited miles turning it in to the same place you rented from
It costs only $350 extra to leave car in other state .
@@egorbutiugov7917 ok so we know that’s not that much for you. Thanks for letting us know

Dude had to shut the f k up... because obviously his gurl snitched on him way before they started the trip, thank god these cops aren't auditioning for a movie , they can't act for sh.t, I totally understand her feelings she was terrified because I guess she didn't knew what the guy was capable off but if he had kept his trap shut is his word against hers.. although she was the one that alerted the authorities in fear of her life... this case was all over the net while a go...
11:32 Cop lied. He didn’t say a month. Criminal cops

Committing a misdemeanor while doing a felony😱
Cmon man
Being nervous is fine, innocent people are nervous when pulled over so I don't know why you mentioned that. What was sketchy is how long he was explaining himself.
That's called being nervous
@@patrickdesimone8310 that’s called extending the conversation so you can come up with a lie to tell for every question the police asks.
@@xkcash_238 exactly. People tend to unnecessary over-explain themselves which displays anxiety or a guilty conscience.
@@JBWolf513 so true. Just caught someone in a lie yesterday. They over explained themselves so bad I was over it.
@@DrMason-es6kk so you likely watch some kind of criminal analysis video and now think you are an expert and judge people accordingly in your life? Not a good look.
This had me nervous and I wasn’t involved.

You ain't never lied LOL I'm over here sweating in my bed for this man. He is running his mouth like 90 going north
😂
Same here. I’m like why is this 🥷 talking to them. Just give me my ticket. I’m not discussing shit!
only criminals get nervous watching this
This intro is lit bro
Going 90 mph with $100,000 worth of dope is foolish
nope ppl go 20 over all day and dont get pulled over, also it reduces time spent on highway so there is a reward for the risk
Had this guy not answered any personal questions he would've been free to go after receiving a speeding ticket.
Exactly…my guy self snitched lol
Ya he was talking way too much
i think the search was coming regardless, not sure what the speed limit was but if he was going 90…..
Said the same thing I see so many videos where you give them yo information and say you don’t answer questions lol they literally cant do nothing.

The dog barking in that dudes ear at least added 10+ years to my life!
16:03 the dog telling him. bro I found the drugs you thought you hide so well but I found it easily 😆😆😆
It amazes me that people blatantly break traffic law when trafficking drugs. Then why they talk nonstop, tripping over their own story, and don't just shut up cracks me up.
Lol I’m telling u man it’s just mind blowing. Before trying to pull that off you have to be on point with everything.
there on coke lol what you expect
I paid a ticket, but instead of a receipt, I got a letter saying I still owed for an older ticket and my license was suspended until it was paid. I'd bought the car used and the ticket had been issued to its previous owner. Mailed in the appropriate paperwork, and within two weeks got a letter saying that my license had been restored. But during that time, I drove like a saint -- to and from work only during daylight hours. If I'd been driving with $100K in coke and an murder-related charge, I would have driven like a god!!!
Cause they puppet and don’t know better haha
I ask myself the samething. I get high sometimes and so I have personal use amounts on me, but I always drive with 2 hands and use cruise control on long stretches of roads, so I don't break any traffic laws. And even though I can eat my drugs, I obey all laws so I can get home and party 🥳
(Aiding and abetting) “What was the charge involved?”
Suspect casually: “I think it was like murder or something” 😂😂
😂😂😂😂 Weakkkkk
that part got me too hahah
I know right! I’m like murder or something? I mean it’s murder or it’s not. Come on!
He also said he was a minor, so chances are that record is sealed so he doesn't even have to tell the cop anything about it. Just like every other time people need to just keep quiet. IMO cops don't even need to know where you're coming from or going to. they can just write the ticket and go away and bother the next person.
Good job
He looking dead them in the eye lying 🙄😂😂🤣I was like Police gonna bring the "Dog" Right? now watch dog gonna go crazy! 😂😂🤣
"Why? You don't believe me?"
"No, I don't."

I love how he tried to make all his past charges sound totally different from what he was currently doing
Lol that's always the case.. car full of drugs? When the police asked what u been arrested for in the past.. "I think it was some paraphernalia.. but that was like 8 years ago"
-Well it says here u were arrested last Tuesday for drug distribution..

Aah... Eric didn't like Kimber, lol!
When they ask; Do you have anything in the vehicle, even if it takes 2 hours their gonna find a way to search the vehicle

From the screencap, he looks like TO from The Shield. Same traffic stop too that Mackey rescued him from.
Imagine being the perp. You've got officers that are cool as ice interrogating you and then they bring out a dog to search your car and they're all "good girl, where is it? find it girl, goo-girllll" with hearts in their eyes. What a riot
So glad this guy beat the case. That officer was reaching and had no RAS to pullout that search mutt.
😂😂😂 love 😍🥺😇😂
How did the case get dropped? what did the cops do wrong, or that bullet hole was all they needed to onow that was a car for smugglers and could have said its not theirs
I don’t see how ‘twas dissmised
@Laron.G cause the cop assumed he was guilty of something based off his record. Also the cop assumed they were guilty from the start asking them those questions based off them having a rental and his past experiences with other people. Only thing he should have done was issue the citation and be on his way
"What were you aiding and abetting?"
"Oh, you know, just like . . . murder."

Soft on crime judges make moving narcissistics simple and relatively low risk. Case in point this judge forced a dismissal.
