- Today I am beginning my attempt to tell the entire tale of the White Bowser. It’s a long story and not a very happy one. But if you guys are interested in learning more about this guy then I hope you enjoy the video 💯

Not to over explain the joke, but Homestar Runner has a lisp like White Bowser. The comment basically is saying "White Bowser sure is creepy, I wouldn't want to go to the movie theater with him, because he groped a minor there."

What's funny is even though I thought he sounded an awful lot like Homestar, the joke in that comment still really didn't land for me. It just seemed like a fun non-sequitur and nothing else.
Then again, maybe Earl was so familiar with the whole "sounds like Homestar" thing that he thought that comment was directly referencing the episode where Strong Bad actually blows up a cinema.

Honestly the way he said it, "I can't believe...", sounded so fake and hollow. The dude just wanted to say the words that would get the heat off him because he realized he objectively was in the wrong.
