      @@carloscolberg4997 yes. all 1jzgte/2jzgte/ge/vvti and non are all interchangeable when it comes to the head and block.

      Is the GE worth the time to go NA T? I'm looking for 400-500 hp range for now. Heard a GT45 NA T was a good set up. What's your input.?

      @@Infowar2024 i think is more easy swap the gte cylinder head with all turbos system on my lexus is200 and put one big turbo. Because i hear the valves on gte cylinder head are more strong than ge this is the reason why i want swap the heads.

    hi, great vidio .. i am trying to see if there is a differance in the coolant outlet ports on front on exhaust sides of heads .. is hole and bolts spacing the same or differant ?

      Yes one is left one is right. Not interchangeable

    hi, are there differences with 2jz gte vvti Supra vs 2jz gte vvti Aristo? I only know the rear or front sump oil pan. they told me smaller oil pump on aristo and slightly narrower head suction pipes in aristo. what do you tell me ? thankssss

    So question would it be better for me to buy a jdm 2jzgte vvti and swap out my 2jzge engine? And if I do that is it a direct fit or will I have to do some mods besides wiring harness to get engine to fit in my 2002 gs3? also can I use my 5sp auto Trans or must I use the 4sp Trans that comes with motor? And lastly if I just decided to go with making my 2jzge NA in to a gte is the head the only difference bottom is the same? Please reply back asap....thx

      1. Yes it is direct fit, but engine wiring you have to reuse 2JZ GTE VVTI, intercooler hoses and small things
      2. Yes you can reuse the transmissions, the bellhousing are the same, but I am not sure about the HP ratings
      3. hmm the bottom are quite the same, but GTE with sturdier con rods and pistons, oil cooler, turbo oil feed and return. =)

    Can you do a video on the Difference between a 2JZ-GTE & 2JZGTE-VVTI Wire harnesses... Including Layout differences, Connectors, and missing or extra connectors?

      Hmm if 2jz gte non VVTi and VVTi, the difference is just VVTi socket. The rest still the same. If 2jz GE and gte, there are only a few differences, namely, the tps location, MAF vs MAP and air temp sensor. The rest are the same..

      @@cheapkailaujing What about USDM VS JDM Harnesses.
      Lets say I planned to Swap a JDM 2JZ-GTE Aristo engine into a JDM 2JZ-GE JZA80. Besides Coils what would the differences be. Could the 2JZ-GE Harness work on the GTE? Are the ECU Pins the same? or there are variances that might need to be re-pinned to match. Could make an interesting video as well

      Another question to consider is. Can a GTE VVTI Harness work on a GTE Non-VVTI if you changed the ECU Connector? Would all the connectors be the same besides the ECU Connector 🤔💭

      @@BjornFSE sorry we have no access to USDM engine at all. what is the reason of reusing the harness, if u are changing to a new engine, it should comes together with its wiring..

      Sorry I didn't try it, but it should be interchangeable. Except for VVT-i and non vvti. And also some cylinder head has 2 cam sensor input, some has 1 only, so have to check on that too

    Hey bro, quick question. What's the advantages and disadvantages of using a non VVTI GE block and VVTI GTE head? I've seen some people do it here in the US.

      some people worry of the vvti causing interference and catastrophic failure.. so they use non vvti one whole set. but some have tested and using vvti all the time, with better response =D

      yes but be careful of the cam sensor position, it might hit or different number of teeth

      fit, but there is some water outlet and oil outlet difference for the turbo, oil filter with water cooled hoses. others are exactly the same

      @@justini2351 most of the sensors and stuffs are on the head, so if u are using gte head, u have to use gte wiring harness haha =D or rewire a new harness =D

    what about the middle section of the intake manifold?
    example, GE Head with GE intake manifold adapter or pipes section can that bolt on to the Actual Intake manifold of a GTE Intake? (The Actual Intake body)

    Hi great video! I’m just confused, I have seen on forums that the gte valve covers fit directly on to the ge and it has been done many times, can you explain this as one side did not fit for you? Thank you so much!

      oh vvti and non vvti valve covers are different. because of the vvti solenoid stuck out. and the screw locations are different too T_T

    The problem is that you are using the bad GE head (vvti). The GE vvti head has waaaaay smaller intake ports than the GE non vvti. I am using a GE NON-VVTI on my 2jz build and i deleted the distributor and drilled/welded a cam sensor bung on the same location as the GTE and GEvvti so I can use GTE cams. I paid $39 for that GE non VVTi head (vs $1200-1500 for a GTE head). So I spent the rest of the money in 272 BC cams, springs, etc. I honestly don't like anything GTE because it is overpriced. You can find a GE non vvti in a junkyard for $250. (instead of buying a GTE for $3,000).

    Would i be able to build a GE Head with GTE internals & Cams ? i was considering to do a GE block w/ a GTE head but if it’s possible to build the GE Head Internally with GTE parts i’ll save a lot of money

      @@isaacgarcia2979 2jz gte has turbo, GE no turbo. But gte turbo has oil feed directly from the block, at GE head has the oil supply but blocked off. Either you can unblock it or use the vvti oil supply for your NA-T turbo

    Why would NA have intake water jackets only and GTE have exhaust water jackets only?!? Wouldn't it be better to have water jackets on both sides for either engine?

      there are water passage inside, but the jackets are at different locations only

      They have different head and piston compared to the non VVT-i 2JZ GE (block, crank and rods are the same). Now the 2jz ge vvt-i has weaker rod and pistons.
