    Haha when you don't know which one you should use, wasted spark ignition or sequential igntion, then this video is for you! =) I have shown 2JZ original wasted spark and sequential ignition coils and also bonus RB25 at the end of the video. hope you guys enjoy this video and Please leave a like and subscribe for more engine building videos in the future! =) Thanks
    If you guys want to know more about the boosting your 2jz to 500hp here is a video on it! czcams.com/video/yGakvyUW6No/video.html

      @@servantofMostHighELELON yeah original ignition for stock is alright.. Unless u wanna make higher rpms then yes, sequential ignition is better

    Michael if I'm using sequential fuel also.. one of each wire goes to the ecu pins... then I can tie all the other ones to a 12v switch correct?

    Hello, there is one thing that I dont understand, in wasted spark system, we need two spark plug wires to complete the circuit (secondary coil), but in real scene, when i unplug one spark plug wire(for example #1), the parallel #4 still have ignition, so how can it happens? Please explain me, thank you.

    Can't get mine to fire up.i also had the firing order wrong.could this had cause my car to mess up the coils?

    • @cheapkailaujing
      @cheapkailaujing  Před 3 lety +1

      hmm gotta start from the wiring pinout first then go to ur ecu settings. which one is ignition event 1 2 and 3 , start from wiring first

    very good video, thank you for sharing. Looking forward to more videos in the future. How about batch fire, wasted, or sequential fuel injection? :)

    • @cheapkailaujing
      @cheapkailaujing  Před 3 lety +1

      Similar concept too.. But the timing of injection is earlier than ignition and depends on your ecu how it calculate

    • @DJimeku
      @DJimeku Před 3 lety +1

      @@cheapkailaujing yeah I hear some of the old school guys and old school ecu's were batch fire only. I hear sequential fuel injection mostly helps with afr fine tuning and fuel efficiency. Just not sure if sequential fuel injection is necessary for us tuners

    • @cheapkailaujing
      @cheapkailaujing  Před 3 lety +1

      @@DJimeku it is, especially we can know how to adjust the furthest cylinder ignition or spark because it is getting lesser air, and also when high rpm, the duty cycle of fuel injectors and ignition coils are halved

    • @DJimeku
      @DJimeku Před 3 lety +1

      @@cheapkailaujing ahh yeah makes sense. At high rpm I can imagine duty cycle of both ignition and fuel would be too high to keep up LOL.

    Your using the distributor for crank and cam sensor right?? Which cam sensor you using g1 or g2?

    • @cheapkailaujing
      @cheapkailaujing  Před rokem

      Sorry not distributor. I'm using the crank sensor and cam sensor pair. Sorry I don't know there is a difference. I believe both types of cam sensors are the same. Only 12 teeth at crank gear vs 1 gear at cam. Or 36minus2 at crank gear vs 3 gears at cam. If that make sense

      @@cheapkailaujing how do you like the emu black? I just order one for my 2jz. And I've been watching alot of your videos. Question, for a custom harness to run sequential spark and injector. Can I just tie in cylinder 1-3 on a 12v relay and 4-6 on a relay... so it'll have its own dedicated 12v switch on source.... ?
