The final episode ended in a mentally disabled person peering into a snow globe. The whole series was just the mind wanderings of a regarded dude in some mental ward somewhere.

The worst part is that there is a non-zero chance that this phone call could be used as evidence for an insanity plea by suggesting Daniel was too mentally far gone to make any of those threats and that he was just fed these ideas from outside sources.
Hearing Clark get nervous when Daniel told him that the Feds were asking about him was priceless lol. It’s really good to know that he’s caught up with reality. He sounds even more scared now than before.

I'm always perplexed when people roll their eyes at a not-guilty-plea. Most courts won't allow you to plead guilty without consulting a lawyer. That's usually when some kind of a deal is cut. You should always plead not-guilty at your initial arraignment.
Fax. At least someone understands how court works. You don’t get penalized for pleading not guilty, but if it goes to trial without a plea deal and you’re convicted you typically face a harsher sentence
@Epic-Gamer50 The "trial tax" as its known. The only time you should ever plead guilty is at the advisement of your attorney. Also, we shouldn't stigmatize legal rights, ever. You never know you when YOU may need them. (Not saying you personally are stigmatizing anything, you actually seem knowledgeable. I just mean in general)
This situation is very sad overall. Even when Daniel is told that everything was a lie, he chooses not to believe it.
Daniel mentally cannot comprehend it. He was already crazy and easily swayed with suggestion but psychos like Clark essentially doubled down for Daniel and built Daniel's reality.
This doesn't exonerate Daniel at all, he's a monster for sure. You still can't deny the fact that Clark and his gang of freaks pushed a mentally ill man into believing a reality they (partly) made up.
