I'd question if I really needed that job honestly. Used to work at a Jack in the Box in a big city and we had an issue with some of the homeless people. My first week, had a dude threaten to stab us. Idk if he was homeless himself, but he looked disheveled and there was a big h*roin problem in Austin. Another woman was shooting up in the bathroom and came out to scream at us because I knocked on the door to use the bathroom bc she was in there for a few hours. Wasn't our first run in with her as she's done this before and will leave bloody paper towels in the trash 🤢

We had a dementia riddled sex offender that would come to the store I work at several times a week. Each time, he'd freak people out because he'd go up to their kids and ramble nonsense. We couldn't get approval to ban him and it wouldn't have mattered because other stores and schools in the area had and he would trespass all the time. The police would just make him leave because he obviously didn't know better anymore due to dementia. After years of this, they got enough calls and complaints that they did something with him. Haven't seen him since.

Yo Smokey, I'm gonna drop the online persona for a sec and level with you; I was a security guard contracted for a few city hospitals, and I can tell you from experience: most homeless dudes we dealt with were always pulling the same shit Daniel's pulling. From the streaming, to the fire alarm pulling, to much much worse. Even had people straight up start fist fights against medical staff, us guards, other people in the waiting room, jerking off in the waiting room; you name it. I've dealt with it.
When the cops would come the 20% time that they actually came (we also worked with off duty officers sometimes, but not your average cops, Sergeants, higher ranking guys who aren't exactly the top brass but not doing grunt work either); they would NEVER get arrested, and the handful of times that they were? They were back the next night, sometimes only a matter of hours.
The ONLY time shit would ever get real with bums? Is if someone actually got murdered. Not stabbed, or hurt, actually murdered. It's madness. Daniel ain't getting locked up for good until it's too late.

I'm a few minutes in and already extremely impressed by the woman having to deal with him, she understood so much and dealt with it so well in an instant.

Not that any of these random managers and waiters would have the background on Daniel to really know what he’s like, but honestly with 20/20 hindsight there’s very little to gain from trying to “reason” with him. Just tell him to leave, if he doesn’t then walk away, call the cops, and keep an eye on him. It ends up with the same outcome but less hectic for everyone involved

Personally I think Daniel is literally the younger generation's Chris-chan but with social media etc being so prevalent, I feel people are a lot crueller bc they feel they can't get in trouble so people are more than happy to tell Daniel to do the most insane shit.
