That first woman - geez - it's that kind of next-level betrayal that makes people go off the deep end and burn down the house or something. Fortunately, she had next-level presence of mind.

Don't necessarily believe the first husband that there was something going on between him and the mother. Those words may have been said out of spite. The wife offers no real tangible proof as in texts messages, screenshots, she caught them in the act,etc.The mother denies it, and so it comes down to he said she said. If the wife suspected something, then why didn't she take the time to do a little detective work. If she would try to use this as evidence in a divorce, then more likely it wouldn't stand up.
Just eww! I know a woman who had a child with her daughter’s husband. Everyone saw she was pregnant but she refused to say who the father was UNTIL after she had the baby. Mind you. Her daughter and son-in-law had been trying for years to have a child. It ripped the family apart. This shameless woman told her daughter that she isn’t the only one who should have “good things”. The son-in-law is a wealthy douche bag.
The “child” will be in her 30’s now. The whole thing was just sordid.

@@JCBUBBLE22Sadly a lot of moms are like this, they see the daughter as younger and replacing her and they feel the need to constantly compete with her to be “better”. It’s actually common in girl groups. I’m sure you’ve seen sisters, cousins and best friends stealing the boyfriend/husband.
The fact that it's common for parents to hook up with their children's partners is so disgusting & a whole WHOLE another lever of betrayal & gross.

Yeah, I was that too for my ex-husband... we were young when we got pregnant (I was 17 almost 18 and he was 20) and I got married while pregnant... fast forward I find things and it's like a gut punch... I was so confused and lost... I stuck around for a little while to try to make it work for our daughter but he was also abusive... so I left without warning early one morning right after he left for work.
It’s always such a huge and tragic situation when this stuff happens. Horrible that you’d been roped into being approval, horrible that he ever felt that was necessary, horrible that the relationship was ever structured like this.

The only reason that husband “admitted” he cheated with her mom was because she worded it as “my mom told me you’ve been cheating on me,” so he must’ve thought she already knew about the husband and the mom being together and that’s the cheating the wife knew about…so he called *himself* out. Which is hilarious. Of course he was “honest with her,” he thought he’d already been caught. Easy to be honest then 🤷🏻♀️

Oh my goodness! I know this woman! We donated to help build tiny homes. I was a single mom and luckily I worked two, sometimes three jobs, and was able to afford our housing, but that's always been my soft spot and I've always looked out and helped single moms. Great organization!

I think if I was married, the person who made and broke their vows to me and risked me to STDs is worse. As much as women are socialized to blame other women while coddling/absolving men though, I get why they always seek to try to make the affair partner "just as bad". Men are used to this too as they know the stats that women are more likely to stay with a cheater than they themselves would be.
Of course, in this case it was her mom so I'd say it's worse.

Agree. I hate this idea that when someone cheats we’re not supposed to blame affair partner. Like you said, unless that person had zero idea (which is possible but nowadays c’mon, it’s much more difficult. RESEARCH THEM!). Both are to blame. As someone who has had two break ups (once because he thought he was gay and the other because he felt he was a woman but was hiding it from the world) it really messed with my psyche. I was always wondering about my own identity because I was attracting people who had these deep questions about their own. As I've gotten older I realized I was just a very accepting person so they felt safe sharing this with me. It just... it wasn't fun figuring out that the man you are in love with has secrets about his sexuality or identity he's not sharing.

A close friend and their ex divorced because the ex came out as trans. Friend was super supportive of the transition, but ex started saying a lot of terrible things about them. Stuff that would have any other ex be called scum of the earth, but because ex is trans my friend defends them and minimizes just how awful ex was.
It's really hard to listen to my friend now because they will express their bitterness and anger at what happened and then get angry at themselves for not being an ally. I really want to tell my friend that yes their ex is trans but they are also an AH. Just because you hate them as an AH doesn't make you less of an ally to the rest of the trans community.

I'm flabbergasted by the first one. The mother was definitely the most at fault there. That's an outright betrayal.
Trying to understand the mindset that lady's mother was in is impossible for me. I keep thinking of the time my friend's (now ex-) boyfriend hit on me- that made me almost the angriest I have ever been, and I am disgusted by the thought of him to this day.
I think that if my daughter's husband tried to hook up with me, I would probably beat the hell out of him. I would just be so angry that he would dare try to cheat on my daughter, and to a lesser degree insulted that he would think I would do something so rotten. I think I would put him in hospital.

I remember when I had this one job we were talking at work about how old we were. I was in my 30s. One of the younger women was trying to determine why I looked younger than I was. I told her I stayed out of the sun, I didn't smoke, and I slept usually 8 hours a night. I also drank water more than any other fluids. But she didn't think I looked younger because of those reasons. Then she asked if I was ever married or had kids. The answer was no. She said that was the reason I looked young. 🤣 So I don't know if being a wife and mother ages you, but she was convinced that was why. 🤷♀️

I walked in on my partner of 9 years and my niece in the midst of her riding him like a bucking bronco.... (she was mid 20s and also my best friend)
She got pregnant, he hung himself, my father set fire to his house on the day of my partner's funeral and died 10 days later.
Needless to say our family fell apart.... Mainly because my brother and sister in law knew and didn't tell me. I lost my 💩 ... I have spoken to any of them in over a decade.

I've been with a narcissist, narcissists often lie, often they even are compulsive liars. I hope the first husband was telling the truth and not trying to get out with the satisfaction of having hurt his ex wife even more.
I thought the same thing. It's quite possible that he was lying. But even so, she shouldn't have been flirting and holding hands. So at the very least she was entertaining the idea.
When she came up and said that she then took her home from her, I was 100% bought in. If she could do that, it is absolutely believable that she could have an affair with her husband. It honestly sounds like she took advantage of the whole situation and the fact that her daughter's husband was a dog anyway.

With that first story, I could not mentally handle that type of situation. It’s be my villain origin story lol. I’d literally either rampage or have a psychotic meltdown. I absolutely cannot handle the idea of betrayal/cheating. If you don’t like me, just tell me and do us both a favor. It’s so stupid to try to have your wife and sleep around. You can’t and shouldn’t have both. And for him to be in that type of relationship with your own mother? Absolutely vile.
Every year I complain to my husband that he doesn't ask me to be his Valentine. He's like "we are married. You're automatically mine" and I'm just like "ITS STILL NICE TO BE ASKED!!!" 😂

This is the first valentine with my husband and I kept hinting all week about it he didn’t pay attention and today I was like babe it’s valentine !! and he’s like I love you everyday and we’re together everyday.. I know but I’m still waiting for be my valentine or something cute 😂😂 he ended up making me dinner and shaping the steak like a heart so that I won’t be upset 😂 bless him for the effort but still didn’t ask me to be his valentine

He came home at 645pm and said Happy Valentines day. I said "is there something you want to ask me?" He said (kinda huffy like) "will you be my Valentine?!"

I have been in that situation where you find out that your husband not only cheated, but he cheated with another guy! I feel like his being bisexual was something he should have told me BEFORE we got married!!
Uh, yeah, 100%. I understand that sometimes people don’t discuss things up front because they don’t want to jinx it and then never find “the right time” but it’s irresponsible and inauthentic to lie by omission about something like that, especially when entering what is essentially, a contract of marriage, and agreement that you are on the same team from now on.
Being bisexual doesn’t mean someone is going to become a cheater. Are you insinuating you’d not marry him just because he came forward as bisexual?
@@Cashhhhew No, but you need to know everything about your partner before you marry them. Just like the kids conversation if he wants kids and she doesn't then they shouldn't get married. Have the hard conversations about compatibility with your partner before you get married. I would be 100% fine with it, it's cool, it's fine, it's chill....but if you lie to me, then it's no longer fine. Cause then I can't trust you. Then I will be asking you to go to therapy and ask yourself why you lied to me before we get married. Cause if you can't trust your partner with that information than you shouldn't be marrying them.

@sofiasilva3008 we went NC with both. Mom did reconnect with grandma last deccade, but I haven't really seen her much at all. Don't really care. Dad died 8,5 years ago.
Mom is a narcissist, so all she knows is drama. I'm NC or minimal contact with her, too. My mom's side of the family is all kinds of fucked up. They make white trailer trash look sophisticated.
