I think one of the funniest things I saw as a small child was when the College House would host loud, raucous parties… kept me, my sister, and the husky up yay too late. One morning, Mom let the dog out. That dog stomped (ever seen a dog angrily stomping?) over to the fence, and like the husky she was… SCREAMED. Non-stop. Just… screaming. Not yodeling or howling. And Mom, “Oh, I’m so sorry about that. She’s a husky, you know. She wants to continue the party!”
They quieted down after that, not wanting to risk more screaming husky

My first husband left me alone in our wedding suite for hours as well… it went downhill from there. Let’s just say it was more than his abuse, gaslighting, 16 year old girls, men, porn addiction… I left at five-and-a-half years, having been raised with a “no divorce” philosophy… but my parents had even been begging me to leave for several years.

I had stage 3 breast cancer and had incredibly strong chemo that saved my life but a few years later all of my teeth broke off. This has been a humiliation for me because dentures or implants are not an option, reasons. Watching the part where you denude all the stars of their teeth perversely made me feel so much better about my situation for the first time ever. Sometimes you just need Charlotte humor to make life all better!
My sympathies (and empathy) I too had BC n chemo n then all my teeth broke/rotted after never even having needed a filling.
I've got dentures but they make me gag, n I lost the bottoms (honestly I think the dog ate them!).
The waiting list at the government dental services is insanely long. It's destroyed my smile. There's not one photo in the last 20 years that I don't look grotesque.
I'm saving for implants but am second guessing myself all the time about it.
When I was having the chemo another patient guessed it was my first round....because my teeth were still great!
It's just one more thing they don't warn you about....like how radiation will damage your bones, chemo will permanently lower your immune system etc.
Yes I'd still have gotten the treatment even knowing if these consequences but I just wish someone had warned me.
It might have improved the long term outcome withy teeth if I'd known n been able to advise dentists so as to get some treatment
@@bilindalaw-morley161 there are so many things the doctors don't tell you about! I would have still gotten the surgery and chemo but, I would have better responded to the treatments if they had explained some of the more prevalent outcomes.
After the surgery they nagged me to get radiation and I refused because everyone I knew who had, died within 18 months of finishing the treatment. Then they wanted me to be in a clinical trial because my BC was extremely rare. They said it was where half would receive the meds and half would take a placebo and no one would know who got what. I insisted that I would do every treatment I felt necessary and the idea of rolling the dice to see if I received meds or not was preposterous.
I started losing my teeth due to liver and kidney failure, as well. I was lucky in that I only lost four, and they were all far enough back that you can't see that any of them are missing. It just made me have to relearn how to eat, especially after 3 years of not being able to eat solid food. 😅

It is amazing how people will judge on the slightest things and are baffled when they see someone in public who has had to go through so much to still be with the living. Our bodies aren't always intact but that spark of life really loves humor, even if you're just smiling on the inside. It helps!

My teeth started rotting, breaking and bit by bit falling out. Like you dental care isn’t an option because I went to a dentist who f*cked my teeth up even worse to the tune of $5000. I can barely eat solid food. I get told I’m beautiful…as long as I don’t speak or open my mouth. That No man wants a woman with my boobs let alone my messed up teeth. And that it’s unfair of me to try to meet men online. “Its false advertising”. When did it become ok to be so mean to someone? It’s not just young people who say this to me. My 80 year old neighbor lady says this to me. Often. I’m 61 but I look 40. (Genetics plus sunscreen lol 🤷🏼♀️) I pray you are able to get your teeth replaced soon. Im so sorry you’re dealing with this too. I’d have rather lost my hair! I have very long blonde hair too. People expect us to lose our hair but not our teeth. Oh, I also hear comments about Meth all the time. I wouldn’t know what that looked like. I’ve never touched drugs except pot. I had a little girl (about 10) loudly ask where my teeth were yesterday at a store. It was crowded too as we were in line. She wouldn’t let up. I told her I had cancer too. She said “I bet you wished you died, that would have been better. If you were my mom I’d make you stay in the car”! One, her mom was right there and just smiled and two…. She was easily over 100 lbs overweight and wearing a tutu! At least a few people gasped at her comment about dead would be better. I went to the bathroom and cried. Losing teeth like You and I have is brutally painful in ways people can’t understand. I’m so glad you’re Cancer free ❤
They thought it was back a 3rd time but 2 weeks ago when all the tests came back, nope! I too remain Cancer free! You’ll be in my prayers!

The best way to go no contact with someone is to NOT RESPOND to the person at ALL no matter what. Ignore them completely. Unless they are a danger, then that's a different situation.

Actually the best way is to make THEM dump YOU. Figure out what they love about you and be the opposite. Hint for expensive gifts, be rude to wait staff, pick your nose in public, do whatever it takes.
Last night at my store 3 teens came up to the counter and said they lost their phone and had been told by an associate that someone had found it and brought it up to the front. Either me or the manager have been at the front all night and no one brought it up, so I call up the associate they talked to. Apparently an hour prior some old lady had found the phone and informed him of it, and he referred her to the front. The woman then STOLE THE PHONE, I guess assuming she had successfully cast suspicion off of herself. I felt so bad for the kids, and the associate because hes just a kid too. We just told him that if it ever happens again to just take whatever they said they found and bring it to the front personally.
I had an older lady steal my phone at the grocery store when I accidentally left it sitting at the self check out. I tracked it to her house and knocked on her door but she claimed she didn’t have it 😅

I was freaking out, and contacted uber, who connected me to the driver, who claimed he didn't have it, but had driven two customers since then who might have taken it. After like an hour of me freaking out, and repeatedly calling thw phone to see if someone would answer, my then husband who was tracking the location sent a text to my phone that said "I've tracked the location. Call me in the next 10 minutes or I tell the police". 5 minutes later we get a call from the uber driver like "Oh it fell under the seat and I just found, how funny. I'll bring it back if you give me $20 for the travel/not being able to take customers during that time"

@@Joe_n_Sarah no my mom and I asked her a few times told her we tracked it to her then left because it was dark out and she was a old lady alone seemingly alone in her home we didn’t want to be mean and freak her out if she didn’t actually have it, we thought maybe she had a older grandchild or something living with her that might have done it, but she said no so we just left it at that marked it stolen on the app and then set up my dads old phone to use. Unless she can jail break it it’s unusable to her.
I didn’t even think to call the police. I had my phone stolen from a “friend” In high school and the school cop had to get it back for me and he asked if I wanted to press charges even so I suppose I could have asked police for help this time but it felt petty to use resources like that over a cell phone however they are damn expensive now so probably should have.
It’s scary how many people hide their true colors until marriage. I feel so bad for that girl who stayed for 5 years, I’m sure before marriage he was a gentleman.

In addition to the hoof beats, she is clearly in a riding arena, as evidenced by the jump poles resting against the wall and the big letters around the arena (which act as markers for where you are in the arena). Also, based on the camera angle, she was closer to the ceiling than she likely would have been if she were on foot.

6:00 Ok, first of all I would have called the desk and politely asked if a woman could come up and help me out of the dress rather than ruining it. I would be a bit embarrassed but between women this is the kind of help that we would always be happy to give. SECOND thing: he was supposed to be out only a few minutes, stays out hours and doesn't respond to calls. I'm sorry but I would have been mad worried and would have called the police. The fact that she just waited there getting bored makes me think that this wasn't the first time he pulled this cr*p... so... can we stop recognizing red flags only after getting married? Red flags are there to stop us BEFORE.
Exactly and she should been annulling that marriage the next day.
I'll never ignore or mistake a red flag warning for anything but a red flag ever again.
I would also bet that the woman that came up to help get her out of the dress would have given her solid advice as to leave him. I'm petty and used to work in a hotel. After an hour of the groom being gone, I would have encouraged her to call the police. After two hours, I would have moved her to an open room along with all of her things and sent her room service, and I would change the key. 1) If someone took his key and got the room number from him, Bride is in danger. 2) That way the groom would have to come to the front desk asking why his door didn't open. I would then get to call the police with an update.
I wish I had known about red flags thirty years ago. It would have saved me a lot of pain but better late than never, right🤦🏻♀️

When I was in college, I broke up with my long distance boyfriend over the phone after he became really possessive and was calling me nonstop even when he knew I was in class. He was telling me that I couldn't be friends with the guys in my class or hang out with them even if it was to do group projects. During that phone call he begged me to stay and told me " I think I know some ways that you can change to be better for me" but yeah, store bought pesto 😂

The "Bee wedding situation" could've actually been dangerous. If a guest or someone was stung and had a bad reaction she could at best (from her perspective) be sued by said person(s) or catch an attempted M..... charge depending on the severity of the reaction. Plus she admitted to doing it online for everyone to see. Be careful/smart when being petty cause it could come back to bite you instead.
I was going to comment the same thing but since you already wrote the comment I’ll just simply comment “ yeah what she said.” I think she got very lucky that someone wasn’t deathly allergic to bees. It seems every other person you meet now a days is allergic to something. That first story hit true, i once went with my now hubby and our son ( was about 2 at the time) to a xmas family get together, we arrived a lityle later as we'd traveled across the country from another relative, so EVERYONE was drunk when we got there, they proceeded on being super loud and obnoxious, and trying to force me to drink MORE, still a newish mum,very tired, little one was exhausted and was trying to find a quiet place, i suggested that I take him up to bed (it was a bed and breakfast and we were staying over) BUT my now MIL said "Oh, he's OK Darling,just let him sleep on the hall floor if hes tired!" 😮 Erm.. thats a nope from me, my little boy is not sleeping on the fudging floor! We disagreed on many parenting styles over the years. She also said "have you thought of abortion" when we announced my first pregnancy!

I’m highly allergic to bees. If I found out for sure that someone sent bees to a wedding I was attending and I got stung, I would sue them for everything they had. There’s petty and then there’s criminal.

Ohhhh. So that's what that was about. I completely miss that. Fortunately when bees are shipped it's clearly labeled on the package "LIVE BEES" so if the groom happened to be allergic It shouldn't be an issue. "She be crazy though." (Charlotte voice).
@@forkshiftera lot of people use it pretty interchangeably with just ending up in a court basically, but also law enforcement isn’t the best at pursuing justice so the difference between suing and just pressing charges is that pressing charges doesn’t usually amount to much, maybe a night or two in jail if you’re lucky and a fine and the inconvenience of going to court but most of the time there’s no justice or compensation for the victims. So people pursue their own justice by suing people.
As far as store-bought pesto is concerned; there are both good and bad versions. The icky bad version is the room temperature stuff in the small jars in the pasta/sauce aisle, but the good stuff is in the refrigerated section of Costco and/or Sam's Club (depending on which stores you have in your local area). You can even tell by the color that it's good and it's in a bigger container. Been craving it lately but too tired after work to go get some. Can also relate to the chipped tooth section; After having perfect teeth (no more!) had fallen in the shower and knocked my teeth into the edge of the soap dish area built into the wall of the shower. Long story, short: now avoid mirrors as much as possible because they make me feel too many bad feelings. Plus, I'm oldER now so it almost hurts to see pictures of myself at the 18 - 22 age. Would love to have skin like that now! And the neck area! Looking more like a turkey every year now (waddle time --- gobble gobble gobble. I better go hide so someone doesn't hunt me down and give my carcass to their mother to cook for dinner in a couple weeks on Thanksgiving). Ii like women, too. We can hang out and they are cool! They are not trying to touch each other's boobs or other areas. It's about companionship -- not sex. Men rarely understand that part but it's really nice to hang with someone who isn't always pawing at you or begging and bribing for sex. The only paw that I want on me is a cat or dog. Plus, cats and dogs don't tell me to put on more makeup, lose weight, change outfits or that I look ugly today. Animals for the WIN!!! And those phone-tracking ladies!!! Nobody cares more about our phones than we do!! Especially not the busy and over-worked police who have violent criminals and rapists to catch. Our phones are last on their list of priorities so it's up to us to keep them safe!
With all the wedding horror stories they have taught me one thing over anything else- don't get the papers signed until a few days after the wedding and not at or before. Get to see the messed-up crap without having to get a divorce.
Nope, get it signed. You can an annulment afterwards. Furthermore in most cases, you would have seen the signs. For instance the woman who stayed with her husband for five years after the wedding night. She must have known he was an ahole. And then to yell at her? Even if she fell asleep right after the wedding, she could been simply tired. It can be a very stressful event.

Tonight, you can take the most lovely hot bath or shower too. Happiness is a choice. We all fall into the trap of "when I get to x y and z I'll be happy." when really the trick is to decide you are happy and then you look for the supporting evidence to go with it, like the little things above. Affirmations can be super helpful too, and it's okay if you don't believe them at first, fake it till you make it. Don't give up. Duality is at the heart of it. Just like nature shows us- day and night, mountain and valley, sea and land, summer and winter. As above, so below. So. for as shitty as it is, is how amazing it will be when the energy shifts. It will. I think you're extraordinary, that you're made of stardust and you deserve to be have the best existence possible. I write like this a lot bc I've struggled with my mental health all my life. So when I get the feeling that someone needs just a little love and support in this cold world, I don't hesitate. Bc maybe others feel the same, and knowing you're not alone can be powerful for anyone who might be sad and scrolling. I've been to some pretty dark places. I feel like it's my purpose, to make others feel better, to let people know they are understood, & that you're beautiful, complex. and very worthy of the time. If the people around you make you feel anything less, then that's not for you and you can come to my house for Thanksgiving.

I feel you. When my brother was a toddler, he got stung by a mosquito on the side of his forehead. He wasnt exactly allergic, but his forehead got swollen A LOT. So much so that he looked like disneys hunchback of notre dame because his eye was complete closed due to the swelling. The questioning in kindergarden was beyond intense. 😂

I slept in mine because my husband was passed out in our cabin (we got married at a campground) after disappearing that evening. Come to find out it was because he went to hang out with his mistress at a local bar! he also apparently invited her to the wedding but I didn't notice because I wasn't thinking she would be there, and I had separate drama going on with my maid of honor. Funniest story I remember is our school is not often on TV for college football. They take photos so they can be flashed on the screen during play....well many of the guys have removable teeth due to eating hockey pucks and what not. OUR team too their teeth out for the pictures. All the parents were pissed off: "We spend 10,000 dollars to fix your teeth and you take them out for national TV!" We were howling! We were got married I made my husband get a permanent bridge.

I had a crazier wedding night and I hung in on that marriage 4 13 years and should have walked away at the reception when he didn't want to cut the cake because he didn't like cake - his mom forced him into it. Then within the first 5 minutes in our hotel room, I should have walked out and gotten an annulment. I was married to a man with too many mental health problems that his family had helped conceal from me up to the marriage. Awful. I could tell you how bad my wedding night was and not something I want to write on here. But waiting until 4 in the morning for a husband is crazy even if they had been married for 20 years. I broke a man's hand during a brawl in a public park. He was being annoying and aggressive and had already been beaten up twice before i showed up because of it. I was too stoned for his nonsense, so to get the metal pole out of his hand i punched him in the side then stomped on the hand holding the pole. He was arrested because up until he tried to chokehold me he had said some racial slurs and gross comments toward me which to the police made it a hate crime. Weve got "fighting words" laws in Colorado so i was free to go😂 but yeah store bought pesto always tastes like its missing something.

That Phone one gave me PTSD! Glad they got their stuff back! I tracked my wallet from Another state all over SLC when it was stolen from my hotel room on my check out day. Hotel, costco, townhome, warehouse, park all the way to a UPS! Called the cops to help me get it back. Guess the thief had some conscience because they had shipped it back to my workplace on my business card, minus all my money (about 600$ in cash) -_-
When I was in uni we had this rule that when we would go out drinkimg in the weekend the one that had the worst week had the permission to drink how much she wanted and we would look out for her all night. Why? Because most of them when very drunk had the tendency to dance and make out with the worst sketchy looking people and keep repeating all night “but he’s so hoooooot” when one of us would try to tell them something like girl are you sure?😳

Really sorry for the random response but I’m a worrying mom & feel COMPELLED to tell you in case it’s the start of the “Rona” and you didn’t already know to do this:
(These are adult dosage since I’m assuming you are over 18, but if not, please ignore this or show it to your parents and *get their guidance* , OK?)
Immediately start taking 1000 mg of vit c 3 times a day plus 4000mg vit d3 ONCE a day and an OTC zinc supplement twice a day - do this for the next 3 days. After that if you feel a lot better yet not completely “cured”, continue vit c 3 times a day and otc zinc 2 times a day, but cut back the D3 to 2000mg once a day- do this for 4 additional days. You should feel back to 100% by the 5th or 6th day but keep up with it to fully finish out the week.
Because you got sick in the first place, it indicates you probably should continue with taking 1000mg vit c and 1000 mg D3 a day and one over the counter zinc supplement a few times a week for this entire flu season. For larger people and those with high metabolic rates a couple more things can be added in and it “could” be appropriate to increase dosages by a 15 - 20%, but what I specified provides a good result with dosages that are universally considered “safe” for ADULTS without metabolic disorders.
NOTE- This is only appropriate for people who are otherwise substantially healthy without any of the chronic health challenges to consider.
ALSO- if you aren’t already feeling SIGNIFICANTLY better by about 36 hours into this supplement protocol you DEFINITELY need to see a Dr because this is like a miracle hack that stops colds and viral flu type infections in their tracks for otherwise healthy people.
