Three words for those EgyptAir passengers: Class Action Lawsuit. Save your hotel receipts, save your beverage receipts, save the gift shop receipts, and hire a lawyer who knows how to sort this all out and call upon the airline to explain how those passengers were drinking and sleeping in DC when online the plane was supposedly in the air.
The scam they pulled is unreal though! Not even changing the dates on the tickets to make it seem all was well. No paper trail so they can't be held accountable for their actions, as there is nothing in writing. They knew what they were doing
I was definitely gonna say. The airline might now have given them proof, but they have proof. How was their flight “not delayed” yet they were all still on the ground around the airport? 🧐
And the airport definitely knows when the plane left.
More passengers need to take to social media! A class action lawsuit will take tons of time and in the end the passengers may not get anything for the effort. Use social media to pressure the company. Also, call the company non-stop. Be such a nuisance they pay you to shut up.

The 300 Egypt Air passengers could easily unite and sue the crap out of the airline.
I wish she had mentioned when this happened, because if it was in recent months the chaos with the airline might have something to do with the conflict between Israel and Gaza Palestinians and Hamas. Many Palestinians fled, or tried to flee to Egypt. It's a big mess there right now. Normally, Egypt is a safe place for tourists, but right now most travel advisories are telling Americans especially to avoid traveling to Egypt because of increased terrorism.
I do hope they get some compensation, but that crap airline made that difficult by obscuring all info about that flight to avoid responsibility.

I have an acquaintance who is a Math professor at the University of Gaza. We were both members of an online support group and over the years we have all come to care a lot for each other, a core group of about 30 people from all over the world sharing our problems and our reasons for Hope.
This man really impressed me with his insight on human behavior, and especially by his kindness and compassion. He forgave the sniper who murdered his wife (not me, I could never forgive such a thing.) He is fluent in at least 4 languages and was educated in Great Britain at Cambridge.
His wife was killed by an Israeli sniper about 4 years ago, leaving him a single dad with two children under age 5. Two years later, his family home they shared and owned for many decades was bombed while he was at work. His brother and his family of four were killed. His own children were spared because he brought them to work with him at the Univ.
Having no home to return to, he and his two little ones took up residence in his small professor office, but at least he felt they were safe there.
Several weeks ago I tried looking him up on the Gaza University website, where I'd found his pic amongst the other faculty members, but all that was gone. What I found felt like a kick in the stomach.
His university was blasted off the face of the earth. Israel claims it wasn't being used as a school, but instead it's a Hamas training camp. Knowing how much this man despises Hamas I can't imagine him being there if that was true. I really hope he and his children made it to safety but I'll probably never know.
I can't remember how to spell his last name, and his first name, Mohammed, is way too common to narrow it down. His last name is something like "Ashlaht" but I know that's not the correct spelling.
This particular Mohammed and many others in Gaza and other countries are Muslim by birth but don't follow or strictly adhere to the militant beliefs of Hamas. Just like how most Christians are good kind people, but the few, small, hate-filled "churches" like Westboro Baptist tend to make all Christians look bad by rejecting everything Jesus taught about love and brotherhood.
Nobody wants to see Hamas defeated more than this man and what's left of his family.

The Egypt Air story is such a good example of the power of people coming together. 300 of them THREE HUNDRED and the entire company thinks they're going to sweep this under the rug?? I truly hope this is a lesson, and that they receive reimbursement at LEAST! I mean out of 300 people, no one has a good friend that's a lawyer ?! Hoping for an update!!
That EgyptAir situation needs to result in a class-action lawsuit. No airline should be allowed to get away with that.
*Hold the front door* . .. my husband is from Egypt originally, meaining we fly to Egypt multiply times a year using EgyptAir. Something is very fishy about one of these videos, and I did further investigations of my own. I have to call out MANY lies, with proof. I will glady make a CZcams video on my channel showing the proof too (I will do this now, just give me a few minutes to make it). I'm not denying she had a horrible time; I am calling her out for her lies, twisting the truth, as well as defaming & blaming the airline.
There is NO first class seats/tickets on EgyptAir when traveling on that specific airline internationally, from the United States to Cairo. Trust me, I wish there was, because it's a long flight! (And what I mean by that specific airline is that EgyptAir also is a part others airlines, with different names, but EgyptAir is the most common).
Additionally. EgyptAir only flies out of Washington D.C. 3 times a week. This is a known fact. If anyone told you they would get you on a new flight in a few hours, this is false. Another U.S. international airport that EgyptAir uses is the JFK airport, but that doesn't necessarily mean you'll get a direct flight to Cairo.
I watched her entire TikTok video. She says there was NO information showing their trip was ever canceled or delayed, & that their trip dissappear from the website. She also says she was never notified of anything. However, she then shows in this very video we are all watching, at least one of the email updates she was given, along with a screenshot from a website showing the that the original departure date was 21-SEP-2023, from the IAD airport, and landing in Egypt on 22-SEP-2023 at CAI airport. It's was listed as on-time and arrived, and the screenshot was taken AFTER the plane landed, and while they were still waiting in the airport, which doesn't match her story. (Because she says in her story that they were a total of 55 hours delayed). And, let me point out another fact that anyone can very: look at the time she *received the email update:* it was 01:31AM, meaning it was exactly 05:31AM in Cairo, the time the plane landed. Keep in mind, this was taking place in September, so the clocks hadn't been set back an hour yet, for Daylight Savings Time in America.
BUT WAIT. . . She then claims that one of her "WhatsApp friends," from this whole ordeal, works for an airline (Frontier), and waits until the last minute to provide details? 🤔 Doesn't seem like a very good friend after all. You don't even have to work for an airline to gain public access to flight records (while I'll provide below).
Also, as someone who travels internationally multiple times a year, and has a son in Univeristy (in CA) to become a Pilot, it is nearly impossible for any system to print back-dated airline tickets. Heck, if you check-in too late with current tickets, the system automatically refuses to print your tickets. I find it extremely hard to believe that they forcefully printed backdated ticketed for what she claims: 300 people.
She then posted an update, admitting she did no research about EgyptAir, their scheduling from Washington, or anything. She refused to answer how many people actually missed their flight, outside her tour group. Also, the first part of her first video, where people are chanting, is not a video she took (as she admits). She used a screenscreen to put herself in front of it, & used it in her video.
So, she claims that people who had "first class" tickets got hotel rooms because they got "updates" and were notified. (No first class tickets exist for this airline, for this specific route). Yet, in the rest of the view, she claims and even shows how she got an email update. 🤔
She keeps saying there "isn't an EgyptAir employee in the building." That's because EgyptAir has alliqnces and codeshare agreements with international airlines, including Star Alliance, United Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Lufthansa, Air Canada, Air China, Air India, and so much more. If you cannot find an EgyptAir employee, it's because the flight has left. But remember, she also states in her updated video that she did NO research before or during any of this.
⚠️⚠️⚠️ **And last, but certainly NOT least,* there were NO MORE FLIGHTS from Washington Dulles Intl airport, to Cairo Intl airport in Egypt after the 21-SEP-2023 flight, until 25-SEP-2023, which departed 11:12AM EDT, landing in Cairo Intl airport on 26-SEP-2023 at 04:47AM EEST. That is *94hr 58min* from one departure to the next. She keeps claiming they were 55 hours delayed, which is NOT true.
📍*Note:* _Thanks to my son, who is at University to become a pilot, he was able to provide me with the flight log for the specific flight she is talking about (minus personal information, of course). Nothing he shared with me is illegal and is public information. However, finding this information for an everyday-average-individual like myself would be difficult:_

My husband is from Egypt, however, and is a doctor who specializes in radiology. We travel to Egypt several times a year, both for his work & to visit his family, and we do this by departing from Washington Dulles airport. Since EgyptAir departs on very specific days only, & we've traveled multiple times a year for the past several years now, we both have become very familiar with their schedule (as we have to plan accordingly).
But thank you for assuming that just because I have information (which is public, by the way), that I somehow *must* be associated with the airline.

The only time I was asked to swap seats on a plane, I replied with "no, because if the plane crashes they may misidentify my body" The woman practically screams "how can you say that, it's my child's first time flying!!!" Agreed. It’s the same for my Mom. She wouldn’t be on it for ANY other reason. What people taking it for weight loss don’t know is that if you stop taking it, things go very, very wrong. Weight gain PLUS, amongst a whole slough of very unfortunate side effects. People need to understand that there’s no quick fix without issues.

Airport bonding is real. One time I was waiting for a connecting flight as a big snowstorm was moving in. The airline informed us that our plane's toilet was broken and it would be a significant delay to fix it. We all anxiously watched the snow start to fall, and knew there was a chance we'd be stuck in the airport for days. There were several families with infants and toddlers, and they were freaking out. So I stood up and said, "Hey, it's only a 2-hour flight, can we all just go pee now and get out of here?" (The restrooms were right across from our gate.) All the passengers agreed to board the no-bathroom plane and we made it out before the storm shut everything down. Nobody clapped, though. 😄

First story: I went to a conference once. When they broke for lunch, I sat at a table and was soon joined be a fellow conference goer. She sat, said hi, told me her name and then said, “Have you tried gastric bypass? I think it would really work for you.” No pleasantries, no conversation, no easing into it, just blatant fat shaming. Then she proceeded to tell me that her daughter had done gastric bypass and it had gone horribly wrong, she’d become very ill, gone septic, in the hospital for weeks, “but I’m sure it would work for you.” The audacity!!

IF you have a hormone issue it will make things worse.. like PCOS... bc thats a hormone issue/endocrine disorder- not caloric- cant "save up calories ( miss meals so i can eat something bad later)".. and lacking enough calories can mess you up... most w pcos regain weight after a couple of yrs. and ya w most diets you regain more than you started with. btdt.

people are so nice too. i had a pretty okay bookstagram for a while there. my cat was thirteen, i think, and she needed oral surgery. i posted about it, made some bookmarks with books and her face, and people donated enough to pay for half of her surgery. i’m still so forever grateful to those people. it just sucks people would try something like that, like CANCER, and it be a lie. my kitty died this past july and i was fully off bookstagram, but i felt like these people cared so much about her that i felt guilty not telling them, so i made a story about it. it’s obviously not good news but like, they invested in her and they helped give her a much more comfortable last two years.

You don't even have to work for an airline to gain public access to flight records (while I'll provide below).
Also, as someone who travels internationally multiple times a year, and has a son in Univeristy (in CA) to become a Pilot, it is nearly impossible for any system to print back-dated airline tickets. Heck, if you check-in too late with current tickets, the system automatically refuses to print your tickets. I find it extremely hard to believe that they forcefully printed backdated ticketed for what she claims: 300 people.
She then posted an update, admitting she did no research about EgyptAir, their scheduling from Washington, or anything. She refused to answer how many people actually missed their flight, outside her tour group. Also, the first part of her first video, where people are chanting, is not a video she took (as she admits). She used a screenscreen to put herself in front of it, & used it in her video.
So, she claims that people who had "first class" tickets got hotel rooms because they got "updates" and were notified. (No first class tickets exist for this airline, for this specific route). Yet, in the rest of the view, she claims and even shows how she got an email update. 🤔
She keeps saying there "isn't an EgyptAir employee in the building." That's because EgyptAir has alliqnces and codeshare agreements with international airlines, including Star Alliance, United Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Lufthansa, Air Canada, Air China, Air India, and so much more. If you cannot find an EgyptAir employee, it's because the flight has left. But remember, she also states in her updated video that she did NO research before or during any of this.
⚠️⚠️⚠️ **And last, but certainly NOT least,* there were NO MORE FLIGHTS from Washington Dulles Intl airport, to Cairo Intl airport in Egypt after the 21-SEP-2023 flight, until 25-SEP-2023, which departed 11:12AM EDT, landing in Cairo Intl airport on 26-SEP-2023 at 04:47AM EEST. That is *94hr 58min* from one departure to the next. She keeps claiming they were 55 hours delayed, which is NOT true.

I travel often for work and had one lady make a huge scene because I refused to give up my seat so that she could sit with her family. Strangely she didn't harass any other person to get them to move, only me. I don't think she expected me to say no, but I had a tight connection and needed to be at the front of the cabin for my own peace of mind. Honestly, it feels good to say no to people who feel entitled to something that I've paid for.
The airplane story is why I screen shot every ticket, every email, or confirmation text, I would be filming/taking pictures of the hotels booked, the time and places where I was for the flight that wasn't there. I don't trust anything ever not to screw me over.
Always ALWAYS carry a complete change of clothes (along with extra undies, wet wipes, snacks & water) in the carryon bag. I've needed those supplies more than once.
Basically toiletries too. I always pack 24 hours worth of essentials in my carry on.
At first I thought you meant to the bar! On a flight, for sure. Meds, eye mask, I bring all kinds of things.
When my son was only a few months old, he had a blowout on the flight we were on and it got all over my pants. I had no extra change of clothes in my carryon, so I had to be covered in baby shit until we got off the flight and found our luggage 😂 worst experience ever

Never, never ever fly Egyptair. Nightmare isn't strong enough..... Even if they giving away free gold, diamonds with every ticket!! To make things even worse, I was basically accused of child kidnapping at the airport. After I asked if they wanted to see my daughters birth certificate, they backed down. I'm black and shes mixed. The EgyptAir situation reminds me of when I and many others were trapped on I-95 in Frederisckburg, Virginia. The time we were stranded was awful but the companionship and support from strangers was incredibly wholesome.
The flight delayed story was unreal. I had a terrible experience once with American Airlines which had a delay so bad that by the time i got to my destination i had to be put in a wheelchair cause my body was experience so much stress i got ill. Needless to say a phone call and a long email later I got a voucher for a free flight ✈️
I recently went to Egypt back in September and Egypt air lost half of the flight passengers luggage. Some of us didn’t have connecting flights and separate flights with different airlines and there was no way to get our luggage. Finally after fighting with Egypt air for 4 days, they magically found our luggage and had them delivered to LAX. I had all my clothes and souvenirs. I was not going to lose that battle and not get my stuff back hahhahaha I’m glad I got my stuff. Egypt is amazing, the airlines suck.
Frequent traveler here. I always take out extra travel insurance on my luggage for international flights. It usually doesn’t cost much (I’m based in Europe, not sure for people in other parts of the world). It’s paid off many, many times.
Also: always make sure you’ve got clothing, underwear and toiletries that are sufficient for three days in your carry on. Multi-purpose garments that are easily dressed up from day to evening wear if you’re likely to have to go out or are unsure. And anything valuable goes into the carry-on too. So does medication for the duration of the trip.
My sister is on ozempic for her PCOS, because she suffers really badly from it. The fact that general practitioners are making it easily available to anyone just to lose weight is extremely dangerous. Not to mention the fact that because of said people who want to lose weight, there is a massive shortage happening when there are people who actually need it. My friend's a nurse and yesterday one her patients asked if she was pregnant (which is something you should never ask a woman) and when she told her no, she recommended her ozempic. I'm so sick of diet and weight loss culture. People will buy an inject
ion to lose weight and then go and tell a fat person to exercise in the same breath. And the thing is, once ozempic makes you lose all that weight, then what? You're gonna gain it all right back bc it happens so quickly. If you want to lose weight you need to put in the work and manage it so you remain healthy. Mind your own business and stop promoting unnatural and unhealthy weight loss when no one asked.

Louder for those in back! I’ve always wondered if the people who do these extremes actually maintain it or just hop from one to the next. Losing it, and keeping it off, is a lifestyle change. I get if people need help getting started and need an immediate result to create a habit. It can take awhile to see results doing it without assistance and sometimes it causes people to give up too soon. There was another one, specifically prescribed for weight loss, decades ago that my mom used (5’ and over 240) where her doctor specifically told her that it was a short term solution to help get the weight off enough so she could get moving more easily and that he would only prescribe it for so long.
In my country diabetic medication is really well protected. If you don't have diabetes you have to prove the reason for needing it. I also have pcos and had to provide medical proof of insulin resistance (if you don't have insulin resistance you won't get it, even if you have pcos) to get a prescription. It's against the law to use it for losing weight (even if you have a "condition" to make it hard). Doctors/pharmacists can get into a lot of legal trouble during the inspections if they are seen prescribing it loosely. I don't know a single professional who would risk it, even when you actually need it, it's a last resource (if you don't have diabetes i mean).

The EgyptAir story reminded me of something that happened to my mother years ago. She was flying from Tucson, Arizona (USA) to Tokyo Japan. The first leg took her to Los Angeles, California. As the passengers were waiting for the flight, the airline informed them that due to a scheduling error there was no crew available but they would foot the bill for a stay in a hotel. The next day, after an airline employee FINALLY showed up at the hotel, the passengers were informed that they now had a crew...but no airplane. On day 3 the airline representative didn't even show up. So my mother called many TV stations and newspapers about the situation. As the media arrived at the hotel, so did an airline rep who proudly stated that they at last had both airplane and crew to go to Tokyo. (Sorry, but I forget which airline it was)

Regarding the celeb dad walking out on the tab. We used to do a simply rule. You want a tab, you hand over your credit card first, we put it behind the bar and when you are ready to pay, we swipe it in front of you, so you can see its gone through. If you leave we swipe it anyway.

I had my two bottom teeth broken off, so for a while (before I could get a more permanent set), I had a "flipper". It hurts so many people when someone lies about cancer. It’s a terrible disease that causes unspeakable suffering. It tormented my brother for 13 years, then ripped him away from us. We’ve never healed from that. Very recently it tortured my mom, then tore her away with absolute cruelty. I’ll never heal. Faking cancer doesn’t just hurt people who’ve lost their loved ones to it either. It’s a living hell and when patients recover after fighting harder than most people can even fathom, it’s like kicking them in the stomach and face.

Dasher eating food segment, If the order is not able to be delivered (usually locked gated communities when they do not give you a gate code or answer calls and texts) then door dash has the driver wait 5 minutes, then get told to "Dispose of the items" usually throw it away or give to a unhoused person on the street, but eating it is also acceptable form of disposal by door dash.
That Egypt Air story is not surprising! I was travelling solo going to 🇰🇪 via Cairo in 2009 and our flight got delayed in London which meant that we were going to miss our only connecting flight that day. As soon as we took off the crew stopped translating any in flight announcements despite us constantly asking what was being said. We got to Cairo and there was no information so we had to queue at Egypt air desk. I say queue loosely as anyone could just walk past us to the desk or speak over your head in their native language and get help. I got taken to a hotel eventually where I waited for my next flight but I have never gotten over the experience of just being overlooked and no information. It has put me off the airline and country completely and it has been year since!

OMG, that happened to me. I had a flipper. 2 front teeth that were knocked out by a child I was babysitting for. Anyway, I was a hostess/cashier at a restaurant. Laughing with a customer while checking her out at the register and my flipper flys out of my mouth across the counter. I just stood there watching in slow motion, my 2 front teeth sliding across the counter. I just laughed with a big smile and a bigger hole in my mouth. Very embarrassing indeed. 😂😂😂

I went to the pharmacy (Shoppers Drug Mart) today and 3 people were picking up Ozempic, fun fact doctors have been prescribing it off label for weight loss for years here in Canada, instead of switching my meds my doctor put me on Ozempic at 16, I was so sick and unhappy and ultimately because my weight gain was due to another medication I had no results from it. Healthy eating, swapping to a better anti-depressant, and moderate exercise daily have helped me lose the weight and I lost literally 250 lbs from just switching my anti-depressant. Ozempic suppressed my appetite alright, by making me queasy and unwell, my hair was not healthy on it or my nails, more often than not the medication would make me sick if I tried eating. I just believe there’s no real shortcuts anymore, and I’m proud of myself for losing it in healthy ways 🎉

Travel only with the carry on, it's even cheaper. I'm also afraid they'll lose my suitcase so I pack only what I will need, and I've never had to check a bag when I didn't have to. In my experience, people pack way too much stuff that they won't even use.

The first one, man that hit home. Different scenario, but same sort of story. I had really bad acne a few years back due to a new medication I was on. I quit the medication, but it takes a while for the effects to fade. I didn't try to hide it, I just cared for it. I can't tell you how many times I'd be in a supermarket or just out and about and a random woman (never men) would go out of her way to approach me and try and give me her two cents. Like I'm at a store browsing for a new sweater and the woman next to me taps my shoulder and says "If you're looking for something for your face I recommend you try 'blank' ". I'm sorry? And it was always the kind of advice that was super intrusive but that person walked away thinking they did their good deed for the day. Like they were only thinking of themselves in that moment. Mind your bee's wax unless someone asks for your advice!

I saw a cook with gloves on eating French fries and then fixing plates and he never changed his gloves during the entire thing. I told the server what I saw and to cancel my order. I could hear him getting yelled at as we left because we were a table of 7. It’s really turned me off to eating out.

My ex best friend lied to me about having cancer to get money and sympathy from me. We were staying at different places so i just trusted every word she said. I was also grieving the death of my father who passed due to intestinal cancer. People really can be very nasty for some money
That Egypt Air nightmare reminds me of an Air Lanka flight I took many years ago. I was a poor student and was presenting a paper at a conference in Austria (I live in Australia). I chose Air Lanka because it was the cheapest option - big mistake. We landed in Colombo and were told the plane had a mechanical problem. We actually did get updates every 2 hours from the airline but the update was that there would be another update in 2 hours. Eventually, when it was clear that we would not be leaving that day, they put us up at an airport hotel but we had to share the room with a stranger and did not have access to our checked in luggage. Like the lady in the video, I did not have a change of clothes and was wearing jeans. Colombo is extremely hot and humid; it was not pleasant. We ended up spending 2 nights there, not knowing what was happening and without access to our luggage. Needless to say, I have never flown Air Lanka since.
My flight got delayed on my trip to Japan a few years back due to weather but I had a connecting flight there so I missed that. imagine my surprise when I got to the top of the escalator and saw a huge note telling me to go to baggage claim and flight staff met me there and told me my rescheduled flight for a later time, showed me where to grab my bags and were generally very polite. Best airport experience I’ve had.

I can relate to the teeth thing. I had a full upper arch of provisional crowns when I was hosting a fancy dinner for 6 at a famous Vegas restaurant and I felt them come loose. I had to quickly cover my mouth and "fix" them. I acted like I just had something stuck in my teeth. I spent the price of a NICE car on my crowns but nobody can tell they are crowns so it's all good now. that the permanent ones are in.

For the Egypt Air story: I ALWAYS have a full change of clothes in my bag. One time, on an international flight, we hit turbulence and my cousin spilled juice ALL OVER ME! We were teenagers. Thankfully, I was a major over-preparer, so I pulled out my spare clothes and just walked to the bathroom. The only part of me that wasn’t wet was my bra and socks, so I tore off everything dirty and came back clean. This was the worst event for me, but I’ve had many times where a change of clothes - even on short, domestic flights - were a lifesaver.

I used to use Ozempic for my diabetes. But earlier this year they made it available for weight loss here in the UK. It then became impossible to get for treating diabetes.
Ozempic is great for diabetes. It also helps with weight loss too, of course. So now I have had to switch to another injection. The worst thing was, having to wait a couple of months for the change over, due to a new drug being sourced.

I haven't had teeth or dentures for around 20 yrs. I work with / in the public for over 30 yrs. Customer service. I worked at a place for 3 yrs before the ones I worked with knew I didn't have teeth.. ( mostly because they asked me if I wanted some peanuts.lol) I can even chew a steak. I go out to eat... when I can afford it. Lol. I just sit were I am not looking at people and if I can not avoid that I just say F. IT not my problem if they look at me while I am eating because well that's just intrusive. * shrugs*

My friend was stuck 3 days on Istanbul airport a few months ago. They kept updating that the flight would go in a few hours so he could not even leave for a hotel. He slept a few hours in a massage chair, but otherwise it was torture and I honestly think it is illegal. Never travel with Turkish airlines folks.

Last summer we took a trip from California to the east coast, connecting through Dallas. Both legs of the trip were delayed in Dallas by over 24 hours. My traumatized 16 year old has now eliminated from her list any college that would require a connection through Dallas. 😂😂😂

I've never lost a bag flying, but MY SISTER has had it happen to her SO MANY times that I ALWAYS pack at least one outfit in my carry-on. When I flew solo w/my 6mon old, I had so much shit that I carried on/plane side checked, just in case the checked bags didn't make it to our destination!

On a flight from Australia to Washington DC in 2020, I had a stopover at Abu Dhabi. I always book a window seat so I can lean and sleep, I have an iron cast bladder, so a 13hr flight is no problem for me. Making my way to my seat, I notice a flight attendant in a heated conversation with two local women, who were occupying the seats next to me, but had piled their carry-on luggage onto my window seat. An exasperated-looking man stood near them in the aisle. I asked the flight attendant what the problem was and she told me that the two women wanted their male companion (the one standing in the aisle) to sit with them. I was quite exhausted by my 14hr flight from Australia, so I asked where the man's seat was? The flight attendant indicated several rows back, in the middle aisle. The rest of the row was occupied by a man and his small child. I told the flight attendant that it was ok, the women obviously didn't want me sitting there, and I was too tired to deal with the confrontation. I enquired about a couple of empty rows further back and was informed by the flight attendant that those rows were reserved for marshals with prisoners and the also served as a sick bay. I offered to take the man's seat in the middle row. Taking that seat, to the absolute horror of the small child and his father, I promptly fell asleep. Several minutes later, I was awoken by one of the flight attendants who offered me the marshal's row, as there was no need for them. I spent the rest of the flight with the row to myself, trying to ignore the angry/jealous stares of the other passengers sitting in the back rows, and sleeping comfortably for the rest of my flight.

The karaoke one... I actually did that to a guy I was dating and thank gods had never slept with... found out he was still seeing his ex and was a cross dresser to boot ( this was well over 25 years ago) . His passion was karaoke and he had left some stuff at my house "temporarily" because he was between places to live. I took all of it and dumped it on the floor of the place that I knew he was doing karaoke that night. This was one of those 20- something lessons learned the hard way that I am forever grateful for.
No joke, once when I was working at a gas station this old guy was screaming at my coworker and I about how we were all stupid and when my manager asked if there was a problem (he was going to call the police), the old guy was like: “You just lost a customer!” Only, halfway through the word “lost” his upper dentures flew out of his mouth, across the counter (my coworker had to dodge), and onto the floor. I’m talking at least three feet.
We watched the footage back for weeks and it’s still one of my favorite memories.
I was cabin crew for 20years. Always, always pack spare clothes in your carry on bag. The one time you don’t will certainly be the time they lose your luggage. 😂
