Nah, it wouldn’t be that interesting. As a relatively skilled rock climber (V8), my grip strength is about 100-110 lbs (45ish kilos), maybe. Climbing is more about generating friction between your hands and the holds, and that usually requires more technique than strength.
@@RextheDinoGD-fj5us I think seeing someone like Will Bosi doing a grip strength test would be pretty interesting considering how strong his fingers are and just his hands in general.
My wife is an avid rock climber. I know that community. Their finger strength is elite, but not full hand grip
@@RextheDinoGD-fj5us Depends on the climber, I'm fairly new to the sport and not that skilled, I substitute strength for technique (since I'm very much still learning how to balance on the wall right now). My grip strength is 92kg. Which is above people like Magnus Midtbo (though to be fair I also also far heavier than him).
It'd be interesting to see if grip strength trends down at all towards the best climbers.
