Just like my setup, Sony single DIN with a EQ under it. 2 channel to EQ, 6 channel to trunk active crossover, 4 channel to 4 channel amp, 2 channel from crossover to bass processor and than 2 channel to mono block. The 4 channel outputs are 9 conductor back to behind radio factory harness. With all these components and line drivers my amps don't require much gain allowing them to perform and not even get warm. A DSP is in my future but Cadence seems to be always sold out. Cadence is one of my top 3 brands

I always liked running high RCA levels use EQ in one setup and audio control matrix in the other, good to see you brother looking strong!! 👊🏾

man, I don't feel strong most of the time, just get an itch to do, and fight through it. but thanks!

i will say generally i agree with the exception of the taramps smart series amps because they clip early with a low gain setting as per the clip point is some how tied into it but also my bass 8k did the same even though it's not a smart series. great vid as well.

I know a lot of the loc's drop the volume/voltage too much, what about putting in a resistor on high level speaker outputs to convert to low level RCA's? And what resistor ohm value gets the 7/8 Voltage?

Hey there, I was wondering, if I were to have the DSP or bass processor that increased the voltage going in to the amplifier which would allow me to lower the gain on the amp, would that cause less strain on the cars electrical system? I assume a small increase in voltage would be less stressful than having the amps gains turned higher.
Or is it all the same❓
