Excellent videos, good tech work music, your arms aren’t all furry, your drawl isn’t too bad, most importantly your information is direct and process is explained very well. ❤
Excellent job on the head install of the DT466 P-Pump I was wondering about the Doghouse on these International 4700 & 4900 trucks is in the middle where the DT466 was
Thank you for taking the time to document your project! Ill be doing the very same soon. Very helpful and informative video series! One question, did you replace the main bearings too or just the rod bearings? I assume i should at least inspect the mains while inside. Im getting my kit from HDP also at your recommendation, thank you! Kevin
Thank you for watching! Glad you found it helpful! I did not change out my main bearing, I did inspect them and found that they were still in spec! I do recommend inspecting your mains for sure, they can be hit or miss on if they are good or not!
Nice job, so how long did it take you to do the rebuild? And the big question how much was the parts? Is it possible to leave a link to where you got all the parts from? Once again nice job!
Thank you! It took me around 30-40 hours to rebuild and document, It can be done faster for sure though! this kit was $1200 for most of it then I had some machining and a few other parts. So I'm in probably close to 2k with parts and fluids. I got all of the parts from Heavy Duty Pros. www.heavydutypros.com/?+duty+pros&gclid=CjwKCAjw9J2iBhBPEiwAErwpeQJxTwpGIZYw6KAvy8VJiveVtoWFw_-seFkstBNv_oEDRFDN_kTqRRoC-zEQAvD_BwE

Cool video. I’m working on my 2002 international 4300 DT466 7.6L . Having the cylinder heads milled. Is it necessary to replace the camshaft assembly?
I don't think you should have to replace the camshaft as long at its not damaged.
Rocker arm assembly I had that mixed up with the camshaft

Where is the EOT& ECT sensor located on a 2013 international 4300 maxxforce DT 466
I do not know where they are located, Sorry!
Did you use a press to set the liners?
No, they set in fairly well on there own with a little help from a rubber mallet, then the head clamps them into place and finishes setting them.
@@HeidisGarage great. I’ll try it
