its funny how WIT studio was like "vivy is a side project" then go super dope on the action scenes. Most of the staff from vivy is not even a main staff of WIT. WIT main focus anime is vampire in the garden and ousama ranking. Most of the staff work on vivy are side team and new staff from WIT. But the result of the product is insanely good.

I wouldn’t say one of the greatest yet, but even though I wasn’t liking it as much as I wanted to in the beginning. I gotta say now that the anime is really great, it’s very well paced, the premise is intriguing, the characters are really good, the visuals are absolutely beautiful and there’s some really cool symbolism. It’s only been getting better and better each episode, at this rate by the end of the season it’ll prolly be a 9 or 9.5/10 in my book. Also I recommend Mars red, it’s a really good one that is fairly under the radar as well.

Vivy is definitely Anime of the season for me. It's also written by Re:zero author and visuals are by wit studios. Another top notch original this year. Vivy, Tokyo revengers, Shadows house are my favourites this season.
One of my favorite authors and one of my favorite studios fusing together? Not watching this anime is truly slothful.
Everyone forgets the ChäoS;Child writer. It was a joint work by both rezero & C;C writers. C;C VN is an absolute masterpiece.

Not really. It is not written by him. It was a collaboration..the main head is the other person ... the re:zero guy was just collaboration...
I nvr like re:zero... i finished 24 episodes and i felt like i wasted my time binge watch it re:zero... this one vivy was spectacular..i did some research cus ppl keep saying re:zero wrote it and i was about to not watched it but it was a collaboration... the main idea was from the other guy..forgot his name ..and the main idea was supposed to take outer space but due to budget they have to shut down that idea which is a bummer,
@@cedie121213 nope, Tappei (rezero author) is the one that wrote vivy. And the person that participated in the collaboration is Umehara that also worked on rezero anime, he’s the one that writes the script of rezero. So yeah, you’re wrong!! It’s like you’re insulting Tappei as an author and Tappei’s goal is to create stories that are so great that will make other authors break and stop making stories. Rezero is a masterpiece that is better than vivy in many angles, if you still say that rezero is bad even after watching ep 15 you probably weren’t watching or your eyes were closed. You haven’t watched rezero if you haven’t rewatched it.
Most likely anime of the year for me. The art, animation, writing is TOP TIER. Sound design is incredible as well. It has the recipe for success. Very underrated.
All it needs is the sudden popularity which anime like demon slayer got.
It has stiff competition from to your eternity and fruit basket in this one season let alone the rest of 2021

vivy is nothing but high quality, easily best this season with 86 lagging just behind. Incredible op with really interesting characters that has exceeded expectations for an anime that came out of nowhere. Vivy has made this anime season so much better.

This anime is mixture of perfect animation, characters, story and music. Every conflict or plottwist is underlined by philosophical questions. Every scene serves meaning. It is so well put together. It is a dream anime. Pinacle of all animation.
The anime finished yesterday and I can definitely say that this anime is a masterpiece for 2021. Perfect everything basically, choreography, action scenes, music, character development, story, plot progression.

Yes. Just yes. Vivy got put off by me for the first few weeks, due to "idol" being in the synopsis. Then, my world changed. I adore this anime. Even if it remains a one season stomp, I will hold it high amongst my most loved series.

As far as the anime goes story wise, I really like it, as a huge fan of Scfi / AI this story reminds of a lot of different stories / topics, West World, terminator, a little bit of tron, even get some Neir Automata from it, Vivys desire to understand humans more, and what emotions are that make them human and the evolution of her character is shown as time goes on and its one of the best parts about her, and that trait is seen in other AI just makes the stories I was not expecting over the course of the story, but as a fan of stories that cover AI evolving to become more human, to learn what emotion is I think Vivy really does a good job blending that into the story.

I’ve watched Vivy three times subbed and twice dubbed and never got bored with it every time when I reached the last episode the song the eyes won’t stop tearing up 😢 i love this show so much it’s number one in my heart .
I was totally gonna sleep on this anime but even just seeing the thumbnail of this video finally got me to watch it, and I just finished it. I am eternally grateful to you for making this video, I doubt I ever would've watched this masterpiece otherwise. It's quickly become one of my favorites!

I saw the poster for Vivy on Funimation & I put it into my watch queue when it first came out. I came back when it was 7 episodes in and I decided to give it a watch. I binged all 7 episodes in an evening and have been watching weekly since. Vivy is so good! I wish more people were talking about this show because so far, it's the best anime I've seen this year(besides Violet Evergarden the movie). I hope more people get over to watching it soon.

Vivy is such a gem this season. If we one day get A.I and robots to the level we see in Vivy it would be a beautiful world to live in. Sadly, probably not in our lifetimes :(
My personal take on "A.I rights" is that, even though A.I may get to a point that it is indistinguishable from a human in its mannerisms, speech, looks, and movement, I still don't think they should have the same rights that we have as humans.
I think that the issues plaguing us as humans will continue to be an issue in the future and new issues will occur as we progress, for example, I don't believe that we should give A.I's the right to live among us as people, living in houses when we have homeless biological humans on the streets. I don't think they should get all the freedom that we have as humans, because they are a synthetic and man-made technology, they simulate us very well but they are not "alive".
However, I do believe that these types of A.I would fit perfectly in similar roles like in the show also, I do think socially, A.I should be treated respectfully just like a human. For example, if an A.I is working as a receptionist for a store they should be treated as we treat them today (respectfully, and kindly).
In the end, this is my opinion and I am curious to hear what anyone else has to say, but I think that A.I is an amazing tool to be used to further humanity to greater heights.
On a side note: I also think that A.I and humans should combine, (think cyborgs) but that is a whole different conversation.

Just watched Episode 9 and I can tell you the show knocked the ball outta the park, I can't stop myself from gushing about this anime every week.

This is why I wish people would take time to dive into this media more. This is literally one of the best things my eyes ever laid eyes on and it’s even concluded yet. I can’t believe that just about every season of anime that I’ve seen since 2018 just keeps getting better and this anime is not even concluded yet.

@@TheRealWoopSlap nah, TPN was directed specifically by the author to end it (which made it worse). Shadows House has all the vibes of TPN s1 but its up to the author if he wants to mess his series up, so far everythings good.

i've seen about 400 anime and this is one of the few i'd call a straight up masterpiece. i cried afterwards, because idk how long until i see something this beautiful again.

To me, an anime has reached the peak if I can remember it vividly even after a decade. I remember every scene in order of both Tengen Toppa and Death Note. It’s too early to say that for vivy, sure, but I tend to be forgetful so if I still remember after a few days it’s good news for Vivy.
Seriously such a great show which I should've watched earlier. Animations, fight choreography, development, twists and emotional storytelling was just amazing. Topped it all off with a satisfying ending. Haven't really been enjoying anime that much lately and this got me back into it

I decided to watch the show yesterday as of the writing of this, and honestly it's becoming my AOTS, and perhaps even a contender for my AOTY 6 episodes in.
The show really enforces the interesting question of "What does it mean to put your heart into something?", and a futuristic setting evolved around sentient AI robots is the perfect avenue for that idea, at least that's what I believe anyways.
While Nagatsuki Tappei is doing a great job with the narrative, the other one alongside him Eiji Umehara also deserves credit for what he's done too, as he was highly involved in the episodes of re:zero season 1 that contained massive cliffhangers at the end of episodes 14, 15 and 19 to 21, and I hope he can work on his own original shows in the future aswell, however I feel like he's not getting the merit he deserves, but I can assure you that this is his first step into being another promissing creator, despite most of his work being low key thus far.

Vivy pulled one of the best endings for an 1 cour anime that I've seen. The writing was brilliant, the animation top tier, soundtrack was great. You call Vivy a masterpiece without a problem.

Episode 6 is the best episode so far. Chase scene accompanied by a banger rendition of OP. And that cliffhanger ending. AND the plot is *chef's kiss. This and Odd Taxi are my anime of the season
