I will say its a little weird for her to see him as a father figure considering he's 26. But considering her past and the fact Yoshida was the first decent older guy she met that wasn't her brother. Then yeah I can see how it can happen

Because I had a knot in the mind that something like that would happen.I checked the ln and manga and the fianl 2 candidates for yoshida were sayu and gotou....I had absolutely no intention to see a daughter figure turn into a wife figure so I quit.... I'll still check the last chapter (coming out next month) to see if they do get together,if they don't then I may continue watching

I read the manga ages ago and stopped because I lost interest (the manga had barely any chapters at the time and the monthly releases didn't help). Still it seemed like such a great manga and I never forgot it so I was happy to hear that it got an anime. I didn't start watching yet but this video woke my interest again and made me remember why I loved the story so I gotta start ASAP. Amazing video, thanks :)

Ahh, what she needed was a loving family, heck someone who could show her some love and care...sayu's brother did do a decent job, but he wasn't able to do enough to counter act all the pain and neglect sayu was going through,
Yoshida completed that, a man Indeed. yoshida became a father figure to sayu and is seeing her through a difficult time in her life.
Sometimes we just need someone to hold us close and tell us they'll be there for us and love us. Some more love and affection could have saved our other girl in the thumbnail, if only she had someone to pull her out from the abyss...sadly it didn't go too well 😥
Also gotta give respect to yoshida...what a man, he's set himself apart from the other troupes we've all seen. Idk if he wants to remain a father figure of sorts towards sayu. But for me that would be nice, she doesn't have to live with him, he could just remain in her life and guide her however way he can...

This Anime is so wholesome 💜 it has good characters and a heart touching Story too.
My favorite author says something like "if you have a good character, the story writes itself"
Sayu was the actual definition of a person experiencing the term "Solitude" and the term "social isolation". I personally experienced this, I relate to what Sayu went through but some of what happended to Sayu was worse and I'm telling you, with just my experience it already felt like hell. I thought that what I've experienced was already hell but now that I've known Sayu's story, I couldn't imagine anymore of what fucking level of hell did she feel going through those things. She didn't choose to be born in an unforgiving family, she didn't choose to be isolated and abused by her mother. Imagine receiving hope for once in your life and it immediately shattered right after you had just been attached to it (Sayu's best friend. I also don't blame her best friend for killing herself, it wasn't her fault for getting bullied.). I really don't know what the fuck is wrong with people who blame her for what she went through and saying she is a slut or a whore because that's what you call suffering. When people suffer so much, they tend to do things that they would later regret, I would never blame Sayu for what happened to her, she deserves love but what she got in her entire life was hatred. I'm actually surprised that she didn't turn evil at the end.

This character definitely had multiple choices. But instead sleeps around for a place to live. It's like it's done just for the reader to feel some sort of sympathy. Its Kida cheap.

Her choices all pointed back home, which is where her pain originated from. Her mother was the reason why she ran away from home, along with her father since he left them after she was born.
