@Battleborn357 I always give people an out that lets them save face. If someone feels cornered or can’t walk away without being humiliated, most of the time they are going to fight. So I always make sure they have a valid way to walk away. For example, my buddy was very drunk and pissed off some guy at a bar. When we walked outside, there was the guy with 10 friends. I apologized for my friend, and then heard his girlfriend yelling at him not to fight and to come home with her. So I told him “Look, it’s 10 on 2 so you guys are going to win, but I promise you that I’m going to go at you with everything I have until your friends drag me off. So either you can go home and have sex with your ridiculously hot girlfriend or you can spend the night in the hospital bed next to mine and probably get dumped by that smoke show. Personally, I would run a marathon barefoot over broken glass to go home with that girl, but it’s your choice so what do you want to do?” He just looked at me for a minute and then walked away with his friends all scattering and going home. Basically, I gave him two options: fight me or fuk her, and let him decide which he’d rather do. Nobody was going to look down on him for choosing to go home with her, so it was the perfect out and he took it. In my experience, giving someone an out that doesn’t make them look bad results in them taking it 9 out of 10 times. Most people try to avoid fighting if they can, but still want to look tough. This way, they still get to look tough but don’t actually have to fight, an outcome most people are happy to accept. And on the rare occasion where that doesn’t work and they are absolutely set on fighting, then I go with my personal strategy: hit first, hit hard, and hit brutally. It’s extremely effective, especially when facing multiple people. When you knock the most aggressive one unconscious with one punch, his friends become far less excited about fighting.
@@TheProfessorExplains Your advice is stupid as fuck. First off, all you did was challenge this person. You gave 2 choices. Fight me or don't fight me. In my town, you try this shit. You going to get into a fight. Then the girl you think is a smoke show. Will walk over and donkey stomp your face as she makes out with me. So reality depends on the people you cross. First off real advice You don't give people choices. You directly state like this lawyer did. Do not fight because you will lose no matter what even if you win this fight in your mind. There zero choice was given. I gave him no choice. I showed him that there is only 1 outcome regardless if in their mind they are winning. I destroyed their view to make the situation into what I wanted it. Even if people don't think it is what I wanted. This is true power. To make things what you want even when others think they got what they wanted or was best for them. All you did was challenge people and hope they don't call your bluff.
@fighterpimp Yes it can. Depends on the state and the circumstances. I had a buddy here in NV that served manslaughter charges, 5 years @ high desert prison. He got in a fight w/ some drunk guy starting the fight w/ him. He uppercutted him, and the guy fell back and hit his head on a concrete barrier.
First off real advice
You don't give people choices.
@fighterpimp
Yes it can. Drunk guy's blood was so thin, and his brain swelled, then he died. It most definitely can land you in. Maybe you should learn some laws "internet lawyer"
@@TheProfessorExplainsThis shit didn’t happen.
This whole series was awesome.
nice to see that this guy is doing well, and still working.
Elden Henson took this supporting part and made it one of the best characters in the whole MCU. I'm so glad he's coming back for the new Daredevil.
That was Kevin Feige. He was PISSED when he found out that Foggy and Karen were killed off in the story they had already shot. That's why they reshot almost the whole 1st season and fired those writers.
I can't wait for Daredevil series to come back.
187 neck tattoo is so yesterday.
So was the Daredevil show, it's canceled now. 🤷♂️
Crazy how watching a video is like time traveling, right? 🤯
@@tehmarok😂 I get you making fun but it’s genuinely so true and actually amazing especially when old black and white videos get colour put into them
So you tell the whole world that you don't understand that a tattoo is basically permanent. Yesterday is not permanent.
@@karensmith4336 Someone doesn't understand idioms. 😒
@@tehmarok
I know that you don't understand the proper use of idioms. Correction: We all know.
Damn good show & characters ❤❤❤
Foggy! My man! I fucking love the daredevil show
How this would have gone irl:
Blood is everywhere, the lawyer is dead and everyones screaming
You'd be surprised how many people can be talked down. Sad thing being is the surprise part, it really shouldn't be but hey. If hell is torture and heaven is bliss then earth is a damn purgatory
@@jeremyhearne sad thing is the unpredictability of it though, could be that one guy who’s down in his luck, could be a hardened gangster who can NOT tolerate disrespect. You never know.
Tell me you know nothing of the world without telling me you know nothing of this world
@@taylorhewson8995 yes in the real world a hardened criminal with a knife willing to stab another man who is his enemy/opp is definitely gonna stand down to a guy who calls him “a**hole” immediately and talking about his face tattoos. lol in the real world if he’s a unpredictable criminal (which most hardened criminals are hence why they do crimes without care of consequences) he’s most likely lunging at the dude as soon as he hears “a**hole” most criminals or people from the streets or quite frankly anyone who doesn’t take disrespect would take that word as “fighting words” and feel like they have to do something cause they ain’t letting that slide lol
welcome to the real world!
"if things dont go on how they do in my head its fake because my world view is the only one that matters and any deviation is bullshit"
Foggy was the man
Best character in the show!
IRRATIONALITY IS A HELL OF DRUG…also this was covered in a Boondocks Episode, WAIT IS THAT THE MIGHTY DUCKS GUY. Yeah, he was the one that snuck up on the three op’s and said…”Hi, guys”
