Yes, I had to study those passage for a homework assignment. Tabitha or Dorcas was a wonderful servant of God served the people of.her community and everyone called her hands blessed as well. They reached out to Peter immediately after she died for help. That tells how important she was to the people of her community. Great passage.

This is a good topic. Me and my wife just took a vacation without our kids, and I went through all these excuses until I realized it was our time to grow and reconnect.
Me and my husband going on our 1st vacation together after 16yrs saved our marriage. He stresses out during travel so we have learn to lean in to relaxing ❤

We’re retired so I always say the day of the week to remind us. Today I said, “Today is Friday”, and me and the Hubs broke into song- “Friday, Friday, Friday with Tab and Chance! Buh-dum bum bum. “

I love how they communicate with each other and are being so completely open and transparent with each other, even while hundreds of fans are watching and listening in. My husband and I did an African safari. We had a cheetah jump up on the top of our Jeep’s open roof. It was the best experience ever! The animals are more afraid of us than we know. I’m still alive, that was 2 years ago😅😂

@@roselynholloway7863 Absolutely, we plan to do it again once we start our family so that our kids can get real life experience of seeing the animals in their natural habitat. We saw baboons casually walking past our porch, when they noticed us they would grab their babies and run. We saw the male lion on the bedrock, and he didn’t retaliate as long as no one was stupid enough to get out of the car lol. We were told by the guide that they mostly attack white tourists, because they are usually the ones that come and kill the animal’s for sport. With black people, they see us as allies as long as we don’t sell them out. They are SUPER intelligent creatures.

Chance I get excited just hearing the word casino, it’s the ambiance for me because I’m a cheap gambler (slot machine). I love this segment. Reminds me of how my husband and my thinking was when we got married 40 years ago but we always made a way because we wanted to expose our son to what a vacations were. Now that he is fully grown and we are retired, we go and do whatever we want to do and don’t give money a second thought. We come up with a plan and make it work. Our best vacations are cruising. Enjoy life!!

This is a great topic! I just took my kids on our first cruise to the Bahamas. Their first time on a plane too. I never thought it was even possible because I never got to take trips as a kid. I’m so grateful for the resources now to plan in advance and pay months for things.

My husband and I just came back from Kigali, Rwanda last week and my husband had the same issues regarding safety.....we can recommend Go Kigali Tours and ask for Eric. They are professional, SAFE- there were NO close calls, we did NOT leave the vehicle and Chance...you Really SHOULD go out there to see it with Tab....that is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Please Go!

My life, I have to do most of the planning for vacation, most things & at times it becomes frustrating. But some of our best times, was getting ice cream cones from QT & sitting at the park talking & eating them!!!😊

My family and I are planning to go to Africa May- June of next year. Tab you and I are alike in vacation. Last year when you went to Hawaii my family and I had planned it . We was scheduled three weeks after you and your family went. So beautiful!
Yea, cruises are really cheap. I also have friends who would pack food, drinks, lunches, etc and go to big tourist attraction type free parks. Another set of friends take trips with groups and they take turns cooking to save money.
Now, I personally can't do cruises anymore due to motion sickness but they do have great deals! And I'm never going on a vacation to cook, that's not a vacation to me personally so I don't fit in that group. But a car trip to a lake with attractions is cool.
I agree that everybody's vacation should fit them.

Growing up in the 70’s my parents “vacation” was when we went down south to see our grandparents & cousins on both sides during Christmas winter break for a week on Interstate I-95 to South Carolina! It was a 12 hour trip in the car with my parents & 4 siblings. Sometimes in the summer they would take us to Coney Island or to the park to picnic but that was the most we would do. After traveling in different European countries while in the army , I took vacation with my husband. So I was determined to get out to go away to destinations in the states or staycations in New York City. It’s not about spending a lot of money, but the memories with your family. Even if it’s a short weekend to a play or museum, park or the beach. Life is too short and you need to make time for not only the family, but also quality time with your spouse or significant other. Brother Chance once you step off the plane and something in your spirit tells you that you’re home. I’m getting older and my health is not the best. But my spirit tells me to see where the beginning of life started. But as your wife said that no weapon formed against will harm you. Your spirit will let you know.

Tab! I know y’all said don’t compare but I am always telling my husband about you and Chance and how we’re so similar. We’re both from North Carolina, we have both taken that leap to making our acting careers a reality, we both have a bonus baby we have dogs with similar names (ours is named Brownie) I went vegan for medical reasons (not successfully vegan anymore, but I am working towards it) my husband is very much like Chance and has finally come around to my shenanigans. 😂 I now do social media because it’s the closest thing to being an actress but also just being able to be me unapologetically. Thank you for sharing your life, your testimony, your spirit and love with us! I compare and contrast because it helps me feel I too am on the correct path and my breakthrough is coming. Chance there is so much more in Africa than the Safari. It is beautiful. I’ve only been to South Africa, but there are so many beautiful sites and experiences. I agree, let the Safari be for those who love Safaris.

The guilt about leaving your children with someone. I labeled it as “mom guilt” . I had mom guilt over going to the gym. $ said that there wasn’t enough to pay for their membership too.

Tab, a friend of mine stayed at Giraffe Manor. Loved seeing the giraffe sticking his neck through her window. Chance, a staff attendant is always present when the giraffes interact with their guests.😊
