Great content, thanks for sharing. My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, Really love him so much, i can’t stop thinking about him. I’ve tried my very best to get him back in my life but to no avail, I’m frustrated because i literally can't envision my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of him but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss him and just can’t stop thinking about him.
Your feelings are understandable, It's always difficult to let go of someone you love, i was in a similar situation when my wife of 12 years left me, i couldn't just let her go. I did all I could to get her back, I had to seek the help of a spiritual adviser who helped me bring her back.

I once had to seek out an outsider to discuss my thoughts and emotions when I was going thru something with my husband ( it really was just me over reacting) 🤦🏾♀️ but I sought out an elder married woman from my church. She helped me see the greater good within my marriage! Don't be ashamed to talk to someone. Yet overstand that sometimes people have to be removed from your life for your real true love( even though you thought that person was the ONE). I once was married to an older gentleman 20 years my senior and it started to wear on me that I wanted kids and the fact that he lied to me about having the surgery! I didn't want to leave him due to statistics ! Thought I would break! But guess what I took control of my life in prayer and 8 years later I'm now married to the love of my life and we're on baby #2 . So it works out!! Be encouraged sis

I agree with Chance, every thought doesn’t need to be uttered. All kinds of thoughts may float thru your mind and that’s all they are is just thoughts. But secrets that could help or hurt someone need to be expressed carefully with great thought and consideration.
If you have a secret and you need to share it with someone. That's your love go get Counseling 1st. On how to deliver It to the one you love

Whew Chile! I can truly relate to that feeling of shame as a survivor of sexual trauma but ohhh the freedom that comes with healing! Thank God! “Your Secrets are making you sick” Sheesh! This is so true!! I see so many ppl with health issues and I know it’s heavy correlated to the unhealed trauma that they have endured and are afraid to heal from….
When you start to think you’re holding back something for your spouse, then it is a secret and needs to be processed and discussed
I understand where Chance is coming from. I feel that he did not get the opportunity to help her through it they way he wanted. On the flip I get Tab’s point. It’s something when you are ashamed to be honest about a burden that’s affecting you. Crazy how this life is. This was a good episode.

thank you for sharing this. I'm the same age as your kids (Choyce, specifically; I'm 23) but this still helps. I wish I heard my parents have these discussions. That way I know how to navigate things when the time cones vs feeling like something is wrong cause it doesn't look like "perfection" ♥️

I truly understand this, I was molested by 4 different people by the time I was 10 years old. I was ashamed to tell anyone especially my Mom. I had so many different emotions by the time I got older I really didn't know how to process it

I had three ex's that attended my father's funeral! I felt really loved!
Tab I went through the same thing. I was helping my supervisor about her son being molested and as I was supporting her I realized that my support was coming from a victim’s standpoint. When no I got off I felt so heavy and while driving home I had to pull over because I was balling. I called my brother first because I was afraid my husband would do something stupid. It was so hard for him after I told especially because the people were still alive.

Being raped (molestation is rape) creates a feeling of being utterly alone and less-than and without power. Holding on to that secret perpetuates that state, but it is extremely difficult to let go of the power and sovereignty of holding that secret.
There are dangerous and toxic environments where keeping the secret is wise.

"Normalize Positivity"...so ya'll came in today being petty! 😂😂😂 I love it!...My friend's mother kept a secret from her husband that their youngest daughter had sex when she was 15, not my friend...she was grown. Anyway, the mother never told her husband and secretly put her daughter on birth control. I think she did this because she had her oldest daughter when she was 16 and she didn't want her husband to flip out nor did she want the youngest daughter to be judged. She was the baby of the family.
