- How many of these traditional Ecuadorian drinks have you tried?
One of the best bucket lists you can have, drinks in Ecuador vary from the Amazon to Coast to Andes and even from town to town. For the best drinks locals won't share the recipe with you so you'll have to travel for them.
This is by no means the full list of Ecuadorian drinks. I'm still exploring! So if I've missed any please let me know your favourite Ecuador drink in the comments below!
You can support my work at / ayngelina where I share tips that don't make it to videos and behind the scenes content.

Need an English speaking guide in Ecuador? I hired my friend Andres to tour the country, he's got an SUV and is a licensed national guide. The best way to reach him is on Whatapp: +593 98 711 9550 and second best by email at andrivet77 AT gmail.com.
His family owns accommodations in Cuenca and it's where I stay! You can book directly with him to avoid booking fees.

// MORE ABOUT ME!//
Hi I'm Ayngelina and my full time job is my site BaconisMagic.ca it's all about the best food around the world and how to make it at home.
In 2010 I left a job in advertising, 5 year relationship and sold all my possessions to travel the world. In the last ten years I've had some crazy experiences and even owned a restaurant in Toronto at one time. And prior to 2020 I had been based in Cuba.
When the world shut down I returned to Canada and decided to teach myself video. I wanted to share more than just words and photos but to show people the adventures I have learning about food around the world.
I'm not married. I have no kids. But I do have a lot of local friends who help me discover the best local tips.

Thank you so much 💜. I’m not far from you right now, just landed in Jakarta last night!
@@ayngelina very good! Wish I was there too! Unfortunately I started work yesterday so no holidays or trips anytime soon for me! Enjoy Indonesia!
Thanks Ayngelina 🤗. I always get hungry watching your food videos 🤷
Aww thanks Nellie 💜
You're not wearing your usual necklace! I always want to know what it says. 😌Thanks for the video!
It’s my name in Arabic 😊
@@ayngelina I thought it might be that and I think that's beautiful. I missed it in that first shot right away, I've come to 'know' you with it on and immediately missed it☺️
Good clip show! Have you considered doing shows devoted to coffee both bean ,ground and instant? Cocoa in all its varieties
Yes on my list for autumn!
Interesting drinks. Thanks for sharing
So glad you enjoyed it
Saluddd !!!....🍷🍸🍷🍸
Jjjj gracias
😊
When I saw this the first time, I was thinking of yo - in the air - on the way far away.... Maybe having a drink on your way.. if you couldn't sleep!
I hope you had a good flight and, won't have too bad jetlag..
Take care and enjoy 😊
I purposely didn’t sleep but just landed in Jakarta and feeling great. Just need to pay for my tourist visa, pass through customs and I’m on my way!
@@ayngelina 😊 perfect Ayngelina.... You've landed and, I'm sure the rest will be 100% fine..
Take care you - who are now suddenly ahead of time 🤗
I'll have to try La Hacienda. I love coco.
Me too!
Another vid full of great info! So many interesting things to try :) Hope you are doing well! Are you in Bali yet??
Just landed in Indonesia but Bali isn’t my kind of place. I’ll be in Jakarta for a few days then flying to Sumatra which is know to have the best traditional food 😀
Always on point loved the video, you're just so knowledgeable.
Thanks so much for the kind words.
Muy bueno todo ❤️🇪🇨
🥰😘SALUD..ohs🥳🤩
"Rosero quiteño" is original from Quito, no Cuenca and also has strawberry and it's color is red. However, you missed "rompenucas" in Riobamba, it's fruit juice with ice of Chimborazo volcano; also you missed "colada morada" tradicional drink made with black/ purple corn powder, sticky and with a lot of fruits inside.
Maybe next time 😉.
This was a different rosero in Gualaceo not the one from Quito. And thank you for the tip on Riobamba as I want to go there in November. If you have other suggestions for food I would love to know.
Great job
Thanks so much for the kind words, it means a lot.
Are you going to Indonesia? I can not wait for videos from there. But I loved your from Ecuador where I live now. I also went to Indonesia when I was 18, very interesting country!
In 35 hours I’ll be there !
Yes we got good drinks
What did I miss ?
@@ayngelina jugo de naranjilla canelazo
Good picks !
@@ayngelina yes love it
Oooh #69 👍😎☮️
I love that you still have a juvenile sense of humor.

Thanks! I like good omens! 😁
I think the way it works is that a lot of us tend to lose some often our playfulness going into our "professional" years, an era when we enter the mindset of the importance of making something of ourselves. Then it doesn't really surface again until we realize we've justified our existence. Or, we enter our second childhood. 😂
This was a great idea and came out well done, piecing together the parts of other videos featuring drinks.
A couple quick observations... In Yungilla your pelo looks more amazing than ever. In the yogurt factory in Biblián I noticed that your audio quality came up. Your voice and inflections are clearer and there's a touch of room character. It gave the sensation of being there with you. In Catamayo the audio was a bit thin and raspy in comparison but I think that's my favorite dress. You do have a knack for picking attractive dresses.
Cheers! 🥂
Oh yeah Catamayo was an old one. In fact it never made it to a video but I often keep the odds and ends thinking one day I’ll use it. This time around I have a RODE wireless mic so I’m hoping it will take things up a notch

That was a good use of it!
There is more to the sound thing than a brand name. It's a complex chain from element through electronics, digitizers, and data processing. And of course tradeoffs between dynamics, compression, bandwidth, and background noise. No one solution is best for all situations. And your mobile editing platform isn't going to reveal all I can hear in my theatre room. In the end it need only be good enough that your audience not sense a deficiency. I pointed out what I heard as the best sounding audio clip hoping to provide you a reference that can hear and try to shoot for if you choose. Audio is like the final frontier, and most people seem to not give it much consideration. And of those who do, most just go with some canned solution they heard or read about and call it good. But yes it will be interesting to hear your new combination. Have fun! 🤗
