I have a gas model XD. Its a great truck for hauling a load. Better than any half ton I have owned.
These Nissan Titans are amazing
I have this truck in the gas version, 2wd SV. Paid $34,000 + tax+ Reg. Love the truck. This is my 4th Nissan truck. I had two Nissan hard body trucks, crashed them both in my youth. Then I had a Nissan Frontier for 16 years and never had a problem with it, but now I need a truck with a back seat. This big truck is quick off the line for a 6,300 lb truck.

Nice. This is the first review where someone actually said the price is great considering the features you get. I have a 2019 F150 XLT Sport Supercrew with the 5.0 and it's going back to the dealership for a warranty issue. I hate the auto start/stop that you can't have turned off all of the time (without fourscan). I also want something that can tow better. The new trucks are all going lighter to bump up their towing, payload/capacities while trying to get better MPG's when not towing. For the amount of technology you get on a 2017, I would have had to pay well over what I paid for my F150. Heated cooled seats, integrated garage door opener, surround view camera, etc, etc. I am now looking at a 2019 diesel with about the same mileage as what I have on my F150 and they are the same price. The Titan XD is twenty times more than my F150 with a better warranty and the same price.
I see so many trucks and SUVs on the road again. People quickly forget what it's like to live with $4 - $5, dollar gas.
+SoCalFreelance or that their trucks are their cash machines and they literally rely on them to bring in money. i don't know any other machine that gets the job done without drinking gas

I see so few half-tons towing at their limit, I wish Nissan had just put a V6 diesel in a regular sized Titan.
Nissan is kicking some ass all around! They just need to make a few more sporty coupes to its collection and it will be set!

Not at all a fan of the front fascia. I prefer the looks of the Silverado and F150 (and maybe the Tundra). That said, the diesel is really awesome, and it's nice to see how much they improved the gas V8. Any thoughts?

Are the Titans heavily discounted? Sales numbers are dismal compared to the other manufacturer

considering the massive power difference, I don't see how it could be slower. probably a sub 7 second time
+rangerover06sc The old ones were sub 7 sec , and some even broke into the 6 sec range. 6.9 to be exact. These are quite bit heavier. The Regular 1/2 ton Titan coming this summer with the new 5.6 will be very quick.
+Anthony But Yes. This one have around 22% more power but is heavier too, and the new transmission is a 7 speed vs 5 speed in the old one, and then you have the differential ratios. If a regular half ton will exist, that will be the quick one, i totally agree!
XD is far better then any big 3 half ton and the best towing 1/2tonish out there sad they didnt market these trucks properly and now its being killed off.
