You did not mention the amazing B58 engine on the Bimmer. For about $1000 of engine upgrades, you can beef up that B58 to almost 420WHP. This is probably one of the most reliable Bimmers in the recent years.

I have a CLK500 and i can go 80 mph at 2500rpm with coasting at that speed taking less than that. I bet the rpm never has to go over 1800 rpm if you k ow how to drive it right. Beautiful, but vulgar .

he transmission is not a CVT. It´s called an e-CVT but it has nothing in common with the CVT´s we know. It´s a planetary gear which is always fixed in place and the smaller e motor is choosing gears continuously but not like in previous generations with the cones and the belt. It´s 1000x better than any other automatic transmission.
