Spectrum all of them have a barier of 4.1ghz but the ones with smaller core count do it easy
get a Corsair H80 push pull and its only like 70-80 USD, problem of no cooler solved, plus it will push the chip to 4.0ghz easy

'Vega 8' is more performant than any INTEL midrange integrated graphics, but a mobile setup will run slower and can't be overclocked due to limited cooling (although fast SO-DIMM RAM in dual channel mode may be 'good enough').
If You want to do fluid _low settings gaming_ with low energy consumption on a rig that fit's nicely into a backpack (not unlike a 2,5 kg laptop), consider a mini-tower with a RYZEN APU and lots of fast RAM.
Just _stream_ content unto Your smartphone, if You can't find a public screen to plug in (e.g. public library)...

because many hink that the intro is annoying as fuck, myself included. Although they said they werent going to remove the intro, it seems like they made a quiet compromise and made it a bit more tolerant, which shows that they actually cares. And you wouldnt say a "30 second intro doesnt matter" if you actually had to sit through such a long intro every time.

A Ryzen 7 2700X literally costs $300 just 2 years after initial Ryzen release, and is better than the high end 1800X. Pricing right now is so good.

It because CPU reached to the point of when it can't be smaller (The components inside) because of the physics, and it's hard to make CPU faster...
So now CPU become more and more multitasking with lots of cores and games starting to support it.
So we can get faster (and probably bigger (the size of the CPU it self)).
I think it could be closer to 15 years. I meean... The first dual cores were only 12 years ago. By the time we are at 15 years, 10 cores will be mainstream. 5 of those 15 years, Intel wasn't even trying anyway. 16 cores or 64 in 2032 depends solely on AMD.

It’s amazing to see the price drop that most of these Ryzen CPUs have seen, I just bought a R7 1700 for $180. Meanwhile, with Intel, prices have skyrocketed for much less stuff included (looking at you i7-9700K).

I didn't even know that the AMD Ryzen 3 is actually a good processor for gaming.
My Ryzen 3 1200 was surpringly good for gaming, overclocked pretty well too on a mediocre motherboard. On a better motherboard I could probably have OC'ed it over 4 Ghz permanently.
I played RE2 remake on ryzen 3 1200, without any problem.
Ryzen 3 doesn't get the credit it deserves. It's an excellent budget line-up.
Got myself an R5 1600 not too long after release :] You know what's nice? How my upgrade path doesn't end at the laughable 1800x. I can theoretically upgrade to Ryzen 2, and possibly Ryzen 3 if 2 more SKUs come out before 2020 :D

And here I am, having bought a G4560 because I just couldn't restrain myself to get a PC until Ryzen 3 launched. And now I'm faced with frame drops in games if I have too much going on in the background.
Same, I'm a i3 6100 owner, the thing stutters if I try to do anything else besides the game, and it's ALWAYS pegged at 100%... I would never recommend a 2 core/4 thread CPU again...

Nnamdi Opara the G4560 is still a great performance for value chip. Especially if you have a lower budget for your build.

I have an 1800X.... wish I would've known how easy it is to copy by just OCing a 1700/1700X. Still, minimal regret, I love this CPU.

They're *generally* better binned, some of the lower end Ryzen 7's can't hit 4.0 whereas nearly all of the 1800X Chips can. But overclocking an 1800X can be counterproductive as you lose it's 4.1Ghz XFR boost on one core at the cost of slightly better multicore over stock. It's a weird position to be in and you really have to think about your use case. Do you really want that one faster core? In that case, the 1800X might make sense. Are you mainly doing multicore? OCing a 1700 or 1700X then makes more sense. Theres also the very rare case of finding a golden Ryzen 7 that can hit 4.1 or 4.2 all core stable at safe voltages, but those are very, very uncommon.
I know the minimal regret is less gaming performance than intel huh xD? But ur not regreting it is like 40% - 50% faster at multithreding xD.

Got an R3 1200 for a second PC for CAD/Illustrator/Photoshop and some light gaming. So far, it's been a great value.
I use my computer mostly for gaming, and after five years of gaming on my old FX-8350 I upgraded to a Ryzen 7 1700. While I know that in today's games that CPU is overkill and will not be fully utilized, I'm banking on keeping this CPU for at least five years. Hopefully with the extra cores and threads, the 1700 will still perform well even in 2022. I've learned when building my computers that although I may get a new graphics card every two years, I usually keep my CPUs for a lot longer, so I wanted to invest heavily in a higher end CPU for the sake of longevity. I couldn't be happier, my Computer runs better than ever. With my GTX 1070, I play all my games at Ultra settings on my 2560x1080 ultra wide at 60FPS or higher, even with multiple background downloads or programs running. It does all I need and more.

I treated myself to the Ryzen 2700x. It's not the CPU that is expensive, but the ram and graphics card and mother board.
A good 2700x build will run at over a thousand US dollars.
I just took a 2600X because I've barely scraped together about 900 USD, but the setup I have allows for quite a bit of upgrades.
Yeah, a better CPU or graphics card would definitely run me over 1000 USD.

I got a Ryzen 3 2200G. With integrated graphics, this beast of a CPU can run me CSGO at a 100-150 FPS in 1080p medium. A good backup and works great. Usage is never at 100%

My Alienware alpha can run csgo on those frames at high settings..... the things the same size as a Nintendo wii
Currently switched from Phenom II 955 to R7 1700. I am not disappointed, probably at the end of AM4 life I'll get latest ryzen type and that should keep me going for few more years.
haha here I am with a phenom ii 945 OC to 3.6ghz, overwatch runs alright but cant stream or run background apps at same time. Tempting to buy new machine first time in 9 yrs, but, on other hand, this still doing what I need so may just end up attempting to replace caps on motherboard to fix slow disk issues wish me luck

Ah, I love my 1700, I overclocked it to 4ghz and it actually is beating the 1800x in some benchmarks. Amd hit the ball out into the parking lot with the 1700 and 1600.

Even if there isn't a point to the number (kinda sorta like how it is here) it'd at least be nice to know. I've used the Spire LED cooler on my 1700 for around half a year before I upgraded to AIO cooling. Great cooler for a bundled product, looks nice and allows for a mild overclock. It served me well.

my laptop came standard w/ ryzen 3 w/ radeon vega graphics, & i absolutely love it. it works really well w/ gaming & streaming/recording in 768p.

Ryzen 9 3900X and 3950X. A 12c/24t and a 16c/32t mainstream processor. Linus from 2yrs ago wouldve shat his pants seeing them, especially since the Ryzen 9 3900X driving down 2nd Gen Threadripper prices by itself.

i got the AMD Ryzen 5 1600x like 5 month ago , and it has an amazing performance i played RE2 Battlefield V with no problems at all
nearly 3 years later, still rocking my Ryzen 5 1600x. Love this CPU so much!
Ryzen 5 1400 overclocked to 4.2 GHz here. Absolutely love the performance I squeezed out of it. And it's not even running a high end cooler; just a Hyper 212 and still relatively cozy temps. And after the huge letdown that was the FX series, I finally have some faith in AMD restored.
@@ThatLaloBoy the 1400 is a great CPU. I actually recommended it because it was mega cheap on sale for a friend who was very very tight on budget and he's loving it!
