You can for sure move to Linux as your main OS. I have been working towards this for my own use. But as I said, "working towards". Linux is fantastic, but there's a lot of Windows only applications that traps most people to Windows. My personal solution has been utilizing Linux with a windows VM and a lot of fancy stuff. But that's really advanced for most user. But Steam has their own version of Wine called Proton and it is getting really good at playing most games, even if Windows only. And as stated in the video, Wine has been getting a lot better. Additionally Linux has seriously grown in popularity over the years. Like not anything too crazy, but still pretty shocking. But overally, Linux is amazing. But it's not for everyone.

Micro USB has always been more reliable to me, than USB-c. USB-c has lead to MANY nights of... wake up... no, phone didn't charge in the night, because connector failed.

I think Microsoft's biggest benefit AND challenge is maintaining backward compatibility. Most providers just cut things off and move on. MS has to do this from time to time of course (as they have with Win11 much to the outcry). But given the environment W95 launched into, especially mixed PnP+ non PnP hardware, ancient computers, dodgy old drivers, mixed 16/32 bit etc. etc. it's amazing it worked at all really. But it was WIP and I think a great Start.

The sad thing about USB-C is that it isnt that much better with holding on than mini or micro USB
