I found this guy from upgrading/customizing my RAM. Been a fan since......Even liked the Dak until he went HEMI on me lol. Only Jelly cause my Dur N Go is still Magnum. I have enough HEMI products and too much invested in my 408 Mag.

After I was trying to put LES on my 2015 ram 1500 they don’t work and I put everything back with factory bulb now there is no power on my passenger side headlight and signal light
I went crazy trying to find out what is causing the problem
I saw something on line about the TIPM problems especially on the 2015 year Chrysler product
Do you think that’s what happened ?Do I have another choice or definitely I need a to change that whole $400.00 TIPM?

Any guidance for 2011 ram 1500? There is no cbc menus. Was able to turn off DRLS. Can't figure how to stop hyperflash
What option would the interior and cargo lights be under? My dome and cargo lights don’t always come on when I open my doors.
Great video like all ways. Love watching them. Would like to see more videos on the alfaobd for the ram. Are there other mods with alfaobd? Anything to unlock features on the radio? Anything to bump up the panel response to reduce the throttle response? Seen one for tire size change. Anything to get you some more views. Keep up the good work!
Throttle response is controlled by the PCM programming so you can't change that with alfa but you can enable/disable all kinds of features and do most dealer level programming with this 👍
I swapped out some LED and I am getting some codes now so i have purchased the scanner and a tablet to try this and see if it fixes it. Hope the app works as i am from canada, sometimes the stores are different. I do have a few questions. If I plan on changing some things out to LED in the future can I make the setting change right away or will that cause issues changing the tail lights for example from No to Yes in the app but I didn't swat out the bulbs yet? My next question is, can you get to all of these settigns with the free/demo or did you have to purchase the subscription to unlock these features?
I upgraded from non power folding regular mirrors without the lights on them to power folding tow mirrors ( got door models from a different truck to get them to work) but now I get the turn signal light out message and it flashes fast on the dash but the only light that flashes fast is the light on the mirror…. Also the puddle lights don’t work not as important to me…Would love any advice to try to fix this if you know would be much appreciated
Purchased a 2014 RAM that had LED rear lights. Before I purchased it it was throwing the 'parking light out' message while the lights were on and I used the left turn signal or break. I discovered that the resistor pack on the driver side was bad, I had no reading with my multi-meter. I replaced the rear lights with LED lights and now it gives me the same message for left & right turn signal as well as breaks.
I like the video showing how easy it is to get into the system and change the settings, I'm sure it'll save me money in the long run over going to the dealer and having them look into it. Thanks for the information, I'm going to look into getting the OBDlink as well as the program.
So how did you fix the error messages? That's the one thing I didn't see in the video, what to ACTUALLY do?

Hey boosted. Do you know if there is a way that make the car starter last longer? After hitting car starter, it turn off within 10-15 mins. Is there a way to make it longer?
I have a 2014 ram 2500 I messed with my car configuration when I bought it someone had led lights in it but I took the aftermarket lights out and messed with my settings cant get it back to factory settings. It hyperflash only when the headlights are on but when the headlights are off it corrects itself and I also have a park light off even with the lights out any suggestions?
Is there an equivalent of that works for iOS that does the same thing for the headlights? Also, is there another security bypass we can get because the one you linked is unavailable?

On chargers/challengers or vehicles it was available on it works. On a RAM they block it out.

Hi, using your steps i was able to fix all the errors other than parking light error. All 4 corners parking lights give error every time i hit breaks or give the indicator to turn left or right. I made sure settings for these lamps are set to yes for leds. Any suggestion.

I’m having parking light out error on my 2018 Ram 1500 limited cause I swap to marimoto xb taillight and they are all led but my stock lights were led in the top part and bulb in the bottom! Please advise! Thanks

You'll want to enable Veh config 3 high intensity discharge lights regardless of whether you are using led/hids.
Also you should add to these videos to do a initial bcm backup so if something goes wrong you'll have a copy of the original configuration

Wow, thank you! This is the setting I was missing, for over a year if it got below 55°f my right headlight would go out. Changed this setting and the issue is gone now.

Will this work for HID bulbs as well? I have the HID and resistor kits you recommended and have been getting "low beam light out" messages in the past couple of months, even tho every other light on my truck has been converted to LED but those never give me a "lamp out" message. And if this works, can I take the resistors off of the HID kit? Thanks in advance, love your channel!
Yes it will. Couple steps to do it but I can make a separate video for that! There is another comment here in the comments that talks about it as well!

Ok, do you know where to get a bypass that works with Ram? I have a 2019 1500 Classic and am already in for $250 just to change Tail lights to LED. Unfortunately AlfaOBD won't refund me so no matter what I lose $50 even if I return the OBDLink MX+

It doesn’t always work!! I have a 2015 Ram 1500 slt and I charge all lights to led and did the settings and still rear blinkers hyper flash but it doesn’t give me error on them! And I installed flash backs on the front they work fine but it gives me error message so maybe the app is not as good as many say or the truck system is not accepting those changes??? Can someone PLEASE HELP???

So I just followed all the steps including using the bypass because mine is a 2018 Ram 1500 and even after letting it sit for hrs, it still gives me the error message “parking light out” only when the headlights are on and I use the turn signals. Any ideas?
There are some vehicles that were not equipped with a resistor wire on board. There is somebody who makes a kit to fix this.

Hey bud can you PLEASE HELP ME?? I bought a used 2014 ram 1500 hemi not knowing it had leds for low beams and fog lamps. But here's the problem.. my passenger side headlamp globe had condensation. So I took it out. Cleared the condensation. Plugged it back in and mounted it. After that I had no power to my low beam and when I turn my blinker on . My low beam. Blinks like the blinker now. I'm tight on money and don't know what to do. If I purchased this obd reader do you think it would solve my problem?
I had a very similar issue just from changing the halogen house into an LED housing. No no marker white marker my position right turn signal flasher is the Hy-Vee and I have no highway more movie just on the passenger side. Still trying to figure it out…..

You can go 2ways on this 1 you can use resistors and canbus modules like i did before i bought AlphaOBD MX+ or use AlphaOBD MX+ to change the settings and not have to buy any resistors or canbus modules
Question? If you already have all LED'S upgrades with all the resistors and canbus modules if you do this with AlphaOBD can i remove all the resistors and canbus modules once i do the setting changes ?

@John Vigliotti i used AlphaOBD MX+ to change my factory settings from Holengen to LED's a few days before i received my Alpharex Pro G2 headlights i had no issues so far i removed all my canbus modules and resistors from the previous LED's setup so far no issues as of yet

I have a 2015 dodge ram and high beams are hooked up and work great no issues at all but my low beam lights will not work without flickering then stop working completely even with canbus hooked up

I have a 2013 ram 1500 v6. I swapped out all my bulbs for led and had no issues except for my rear turn signals say bulb out when the headlights are on. I can’t find any Alfa obd setting that would change this. Any ideas? If so I’ll give you my email

MY 2015 Ram Laramie Longhorn 5.7 V8 will not allow the LED lights to work on the low beam They come on but go out after about 5 minutes High beam works great Do the LED bulbs pull too much power? Is there a fix?
Fixed my 2015 RAM 5.7 after I added LEDs all around my truck. Lasfit brand from Amazon (high, low beams, fog, front turn/running, tail/brake, reverse, 3rd brake, dome, license plate)
ALL reset inside with the OBD MX+... I'll give an update if something happens...

I have a 15 ram. Dealership said they can make the computer to where it allows LED but told me that the pcm doesn't put enough output power to power up LEDs. Can anyone verify this is a fix for the 2015 year model? I purchased morimotos full healifjt assembly. Works for about 15 minutes before cutting off.
I have a 2012 Ram 1500. Seems the LED option doesn't come up in the search. Is there another way to change the settings to recognize my led bulbs?
Try 13 -17 if that doesn't work then you might have to buy resistors and canbus modules

Same here, actually i had them already changed an all working, just swapped for different led bulbs and those started giving me message and they blink fast, i restarted already truck several times, checked status, it has single setting for both L and R front park lamps and another for both front turn lamps they both confirm set yes to LED, but problem remains... this happened to me before and i don't know what i did, i think it eventually started working on it's own
Update: i went play with that more, the leds i changed were front turn signals, so i switched in alfaObd leds to NO, about 5 minutes later back to YES, it didn't resolve the issue... but i noticed it's little more strange, yes the message appear on evic that front turns are out, but they actually blink normal speed outside, the only fast speed is mirror turn signals and dash arrows, everything else is normal speed, i'm clueless

Might have to soon! One of my factory oem led tails is burnt out though which is a bummer so I havent decided if I'll be just replacing the broken one or upgrading both to something else

@@sunburntodin910 if you have factory LED's most likely there're sealed and the bulbs aren't replaceable you will have to buy a new housing

Me too. I just followed all the steps in the video mine is a 2018 so I used the bypass and set it all to LEDs and even set headlamps to HID and I let it sit for hrs and only when the headlights are on and I use the turn signals I get the “parking light out” message and I don’t know why. I was getting the same message before and it’s still showing up even after the adjustment. So I don’t know 🤷🏻♂️
@@alexlubbe I just took out the LED's in the tail lights and put originals back in and it went away. My concern were the headlights, because I live in the country.
