Ram AlfaOBD changing the Mileage, turning off the seat belt chime, and activating led lights

- I install the AlfaOBD app on a android tablet and use my bypass cable to unlock my 2018 RAM to make changes to the BCM.
In this video I change the Mileage to my truck to match the actual mileage on the truck from swapping the evic from the standard 3 inch cluster to the 7 inch premium cluster evic. I also disable the seat belt chime as well as change the settings on the truck that I have led lights to eliminate the error messages on the dash cluster. Thanks for the step by step. It's not as easy as those guys on the forums make it sound as the different menus and sub menus needed to access are not intuitive. Also those guys are great for bragging on all the changes they do but provide zero details on how they did it. Very much appreciate your help here.

I just ordered everything to do a 22 3500. It’ll be a little while before I can use it do to just ordering the truck. Wanted to have it right off the bat to calibrate the speedo. While watching your video I have a question. Did you have the obd link already plugged in ? I’m guessing it has to be but not sure

This method works with Jeep Cherokee kl 2015? I read the pin from the RFH which has 5 digits. I entered it but suddenly it shows that the pin is 4 digits. alfaobd may not work with cheroekke? Apparently appcar from Windows does it better. Please help.

Thank you for the video. I did the Milage change, but I noticed that it puts a different Milage than the one I entered. I tried multiple times on my 2019 3500, 12 inch radio display, but no luck. Any ideas why? Has anyone have this problem before ?

That feature is under Global Down on alfa OBD. it works great!
Can you use alpha obd to correct the mileage on your pcm? Mine was removed from the truck for a few thousand miles while another was used so it doesn’t match the cluster.

I just swapped my cluster but I still have an extended warranty. Will it affect anything? If they scan it Will it show the true mileage? I messed up and didn't write down the exact mileage

Is there a way to update the entire truck for the latest and greatest with Alpha OBD? The reason I am asking is because, the prior owner of the truck had bigger tires on it. I am noticing the transmission is shifting kind of funny and also the tachometer will randomly twitch very subtly.
Alpha OBD doesn’t do that unless you someone with a new truck logs into and saves a copy of their program then sends to you and you upload.
There are a number of videos on how to change tire size with ALPA OBD. Its like a 3 or 4 step process but can be done.

As I understand it, you need the pin to change tire pressure. You can get the app, "Chrysler Pin Puller" for $15 that will give you that 4 digit pin. Seems a lot of dealers give people shit over disclosing it.

Itsa Mea no but my 2018 stays on everytime unless I turn it off
@@SethRighi I wish mine did. Mine is a 2018 Limited. If I'm hooked to a trailer and shut it off, when I turn it back on the exh. brake stays on but not without trailer plugged in. Theres got to be a setting in one of the modules to keep it on. I just need to find it.

You can get rid of TPMS. You have to go into Body Computer then Car configuration change, and then look for VehConfig 3 and you will need to change both Base TPM and Premium TPM present!

Don't blame do os blame the phone😂. Odb correction is dangerous even on my high-end key programmers. I'd be doing it on at least a s20 or higher. On a serious note, the dealer software requires certain permissions to obtain a code to program bcm. This is not the same as the security code used for programming keys. So I bought this tool to clone the bcm. It failed to write vin and failed to write confing. I ended up repairing the original bcm. 2012 300 have u har issues doing bcm swap? It should be easier then obd correction.
Seth - so what you are telling me is that I may have just purchased a 2014 RAM 2500 Tradesman Crew Cab 4x4 that one of you may have rolled back the mileage? If it is this easy - none of us will be able to know the accurate mileage on a vehicle. I think I just felt the onset of heavy depression.
It is easy to roll back the odometer but I believe these engines have odometers of their own (that are not easily changed). If you have AlfaOBD you can check them by yourself to see if your odometer was changed
When I try changing my mileage is says complete turn off vehicle and let it rest however the mileage never actually changes? Any answers?

You can also shit the chime off by doing this and its alot quicker...
Step 1
Sit in your car's driver seat and close the door. Make sure that all doors are closed.
Step 2
Place your Dodge Ram key in the ignition. Do not turn on the car. Buckle your seat belt.
Step 3
Turn the ignition key to the "On" position. The seat belt reminder light will turn off after a few moments.
Step 4
Buckle and unbuckle your seat belt three times within 60 seconds of turning the vehicle on. Buckle your seat belt one more time.
Turn the ignition to "Lock." The chime will sound one time to indicate that BeltAlert has been disabled.

If you are changing the tire pressure low warning light, you will need the 4 digit code. If the dealer is pissy about giving it to you or wants to charge you for it, you can get the “Chrysler Pin Puller” app for android which costs $15.
