- If you need a backup, extra, spare keyfob for your Ram truck check out this video! My truck is a 2012 Ram 2500 6.7L diesel and it only came with 1 keyfob that none of the buttons worked on! Instead of paying close to $600 at the dealer for a SINGLE replacement keyfob I went on Amazon and found a product called simplekey and decided to try it out! This is the results, I now have 3 new working key fobs with factory remote start all for about $50/ key fob total price! Needless to say I'm extremely happy with the results.

Thanks so much for creating this video! After watching it, I purchased a "Simple Key" for my truck and programming it was as easy as you described. I couldn't see the light on the fob, though, so I made a small hole in the rubber and then put some clear glue inside the material to keep it watertight.

The other reason use to be to record cool offroading content and put my favorite music tracks to it..... Then CZcams Copyright violations put an end to that Lol. OK so my key starts the vehicle but won't unlock or lock it. I'm gonna look into this.

Would this work on a 2023 Dodge Ram tradesman classic night edition ,need a a second key fob since I lost 1 but still have the other key fob.
I couldn’t find any programmer for 18 ram 5500. Does this works on 18 ram ??

I have a tunner plugged into my obd2 port cant j unplug it to use the simply key and will i need to do anuthing to the tunner when i plug it back in?
You can just unplug the tuner, use the Simple Key and then when finished replug in the Tuner. You should NOT have to change anything once you plug in the tuner again.
Alfaobd can program it without all that other steps...
Would it work for 2 keys that are not programmed.could I program 1 of my key fobs without having a working key fob?
You have to have 1 original key fob for the vehicle that can start the vehicle I believe. I had 1 original, but my remote start didn't work on it and after programming my new key fobs with this Simple Key device the remote start and all functions on the new fobs worked perfectly. Hope this helps.
After checking online at the simple Key it shows that it only works for a 2009 through 2017. 😢 I have a 2019. Bummer
Dose your key fob have to already have the remote starting or can you upgrade the keys?
As I understand it, you can use any of the fobs regardless of the buttons that are on it. However, only the features that are on your vehicle will be programmed and work. If your vehicle does not have remote start, it will not magically be created.

For a 3rd key can I use the one I just made instead of the oem, for the first step of turning on the car

I posted a link to them in the description. I just bought them on Amazon also! They have all been holding up great so far. Just make sure to check if SimpleKey or those "Fobik Key fobs" fit your vehicle year, make, model. But yeah still 5 stars all the way for both from me!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

could you have programed it without the original simple key? im asking because you didnt pair any of the other keys etc, no blue light or anything
You have to have 1 original key for the vehicle IE one that came from the factory with the vehicle. After that im sure you could use other amazon keys instead of the simple key.

you need a working key for this to work, and once the module has been used to program a key it will only ever work on that exact vehicle.
