5:47 talks about being a "safe driver" as he speeds up in an area where he can hit black ice and cause BIGGER ISSUES... 😂😂😂 ookk...
Even better he posted this video online, thinking he was in the right.
@@Whatamidoinghere262 and when you REALLY look at the video you can see the rig braking because a truck got in front of him, so he tried to give himself space. And as he was braking, he was sliding left because of the ice and snow. 🤣 dumb cammer
I was waiting for him to break traction when he hit the gas. Hard acceleration on a slippery road is not wise.
The cammer didn't say that, It's an editor's note.
Black ice isn't even the issue. He's driving recklessly fast on visibly icy roads.
Props to everyone checking on the people at 3:45
Yes
Agree, they didn’t even hesitate to run up and check on them
Indeed. But I wonder that the text description said that the Jeep driver was found not guilty, although he drove in the intersection when yellow lights were on?
@@LeifAnderssohn He technically crossed when it was still yellow, which is legal. The driver turning left always has to yield to oncoming traffic, regardless if the light is yellow. However, the driver going straight was definitely speeding which might be why the left-turner didn't have enough time to react.
A lot of these accident could be avoided if people actually looked and reduced their speed as they approached junctions and lights. Treat all other vehicles as lunatics and you will be a lot safer.
7:55 Yes, here for example. You can see that the other person is making a mistake. Instead of defusing the situation and braking, he risks a collision. He doesn't seem to care much about his child in the car.
Expect the unexpected as they say. Especially when you see people come to a complete stop in the middle of the road for no reason.
@andyhemus2964 that's how my father taught me to drive. He'd say - Everybody is an idiot on the road, try to be the sanest of them all. Anticipate that everyone is going to make a mistake as soon as you approach them. Cars, trucks, buses, bikes, pedestrians, trust no one.
So correct, many of these folks on here failed to do what they accuse the others of doing and proclaim they are somehow in the right. I believe it's called a defensive driving course for a reason. Each one of you make very good points.
I was trying to make a left yesterday across a 3 lane and a semi driver was trying to be gracious to let me cross, but there was no way I was going to blindly go across those lanes on his judgement with not being able to see oncoming traffic.... I waved him past and gave him a thank you anyways wave.
@tosa2522 Yeah, that was a pretty moronic move on the cammer's part
5:57 Traveling at excessive and dangerous speed in icy conditions while complaining about the truck driver. Zero self awareness.
Excessive speed? :-D
Right.
Just because snow is foreign to you, doesn't mean he drives too fast.
Road was clear, speed was safe.
Proper winter tires can handle this
@@TheKeule33 It's excessive speed precisely because of what happened in the video - inclement weather like this means weird things are going to happen with drivers and the road around you whether or not you yourself have traction, and you need to make sure you have plenty of time to stop when those things happen.
5:59 so instead of following a path through inclement weather created by other drivers, you decide to instead take the more unsafe route and get mad when the (up to) 80K pound rig decides to be safe?
1:55 cammer did a great job here. delayed swearing was funny lol
Yeah, nice avoidance by that cammer! Also, that's my home town, nice to know there's at least one driver out there who pays attention lol
Kind of shoots down the notion that Audi's are good in snow. Still takes some driving skills.
@@DeweyCheatumNHoweLLC No grip can be a problem on any car. Audi also doesn't make the tires. Doesn't matter how many 'wheel drive' you have when you're on ice. On a related note, I've never met an Audi driver that wasn't either A) being stupid on the road in some capacity or B) a jerk.
Avoid all pickup trucks in Tacoma, Washington. Got it.
exactly what i was thinking too!
I wanna avoid them everywhere
Come to the greater Atlanta, Georgia. You'll love it!
Most pickup trucks come with a permission slip to drive like a +wa+.
No kidding.
@1:47 Wade Kamkoff, my respect to you. This is a masterclass of awareness and reaction. He even saved his cursing for when he was sure things were safe lol! W to Wade, bravo
And that SUV in front of Wade, who recognized he could be sideswiped by that Audi and gunned it.
Forreal. I've seen videos on here where people are in similar situations and just sit there rather than avoid being hit.
5:54 "fk idiot" while he's speeding in the snow
I can’t with these people blaring the horn for 10 seconds straight. Its not ever that serious
1:55 "but i have an audi it's AWD it should be fine in the snow even with summer tires!!"
And it comes with all wheel brakes too!
Kind of shoots down the notion that Audi's are good in snow. Still takes some driving skills.
If I had a nickel for every time a pickup truck was at fault in Tacoma Washington in this video, I'd have 2 nickels... which isn't a lot, but funny that it happened twice.
You’d have a lot more than two…
I just don't like these people who are honking for hours.
When they almost get crashed into? Okay 4yearood
Maybe I'm crazy but (see 8:15) when I'm approaching an interchange with trucks merging onto the highway, I slow down, and if possible move out of the right lane. No need to make things more dangerous.
I wouldn't boil it down to just "slowing down," I'd suggest just trying to match the speed of the merging vehicles OR getting over, whichever is safer in that scenario. Just slowing down can lead to traffic congestion and/or accidents
@@hollow_art9099 You make a good point. And I guess that's what I meant. It just seems like in so many of these videos that people are not willing to give anyone else a "brake". It's like people think it's a competition or something -- gotta be in front of everyone else.
Honestly, there's very little reason to *be* in the right lane on a freeway unless you're getting close to your exit. Even if you don't want to drive as fast as the people in the left lanes are, at least move over a little so you aren't caught in the middle of all the traffic merging on and all the people racing over at the last minute to make their exits.
Same. No point staying in the right lane if there's people merging and the left lane is free. Just let them enter.
7:20 Why on earth is the street sign bleeped out?!? Never seen that before 🤔
Cammer paranoia
That is weird
8:00 Wow, dude. Kids in the car and you drive like that?
I was gonna say, the truck didn't really cut the cammer off. The truck was getting in the off ramp at the wrong time, but the cammer had plenty of time to slow down and let the truck go on their way.
@@ronz2607 Yes, exactly this. Ego took over here. Just call the guy in the pickup a jackass, back off for two seconds and be on your way instead of trying to turn it in to something it's not.
Like what? I'm not from the US, so there might be some differences in traffic rules, but to me it looked like that white truck did an illegal lane change. Of course he could have given way to the idiot, but he did nothing wrong. The only bad thing there was him cussing in front of the kid.
3:29 the guy talking about getting a cover for your MacBook is so real
Guy at 8:50 was going way too fast. When you see a car pulling out into your lane-how about slow down. Both cars are idiots.
i appreciate you uploading these videos! im still kind of a new driver, got my license on october 3rd of last year. these videos help me understand different situations that can happen while driving and how to avoid them or what to do if i get hit. these are very educational for me so thank you!
Get a dash cam, people are deliberately trying to smash into you/insurance fraud etc .Be Safe (drive according to conditions, big snow ...heavy rains etc)
there are a ton of comments on channels like these that you absolutely shouldn't listen to! Lots of people here love to victim shame and it's absolutely not ok
Best advice I can give you, just because they are assholes doesn't mean you should be too.
90% of these accidents are completely avoidable.
5:55 everyone driving WAY too fast for the adverse road conditions.
1:47 was hella impressive
9:10 "I'm following you all the way home"
3:10 “Their insurance had a limit of 10k” - So? How about them paying the rest of the damages out of their pocket? How is that your fault? Unbelievable.
This also raised flags in my head. Why would you be on the hook for the damages just because their policy capped out? Then you sue their insurance company or them personally to pay out. Your own insurance company is really last resort because they can use the payout as justification to raise your rates, even if the accident wasn't your fault (which is awful but just how it works).
@@kurtthewurtthe car isn't driveable and we needed a rental. If we went through their insurance, we likely would have had to pay thousands up front and try to recoup the money through a lawsuit. This was the quickest way.
Finally, a video where the cammers actually have common sense and try to avoid accidents. Props to them.
I DO NOT understand why anyone wouldn't look at their mirrors and turn their heads before merging or making a turn. It's Drivers Ed 101 - do not rely solely on mirrors.
They’re addicted to their phones and they text or do whatever they want on their phones when they are not supposed to
Why do some cammers inform everybody about their repair expenses?
Free advise from a truck driver : always keep proper following distance and keep you sight ahead in the distance, not just in front of you
Person In The Last Video Gotta Deep Ass Voice😂😂😂😂
I thought the driver was listening to a podcast or audio book or something lol. Never expected it to be the dude in the car. Honestly, if that guy had a podcast, i would listen 😂
@@cheyennedevore8381 exactly what I thought as well 😂

@@cheyennedevore8381 🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨
5:23 why did you want until just before they backed into you to use the horn?
That's what I'm wondering
2:49 could've happened to me today too.
Was at a two lane stoplight waiting for the light to turn green. When it did I couldn't go because I would be blocking the intersection (first light was followed immediately by a second light that was still red). It's a good thing I couldn't go, because the driver in the left hand lane immediately turned in front of me to go right, no hesitation, as soon as the light turned green.
Yea it was infuriating to say the least
3:27 -- The 4-Runner driver may have been found at fault, but the Jeep driver had a full 4 seconds of yellow light to stop, yet continued through the intersection at full speed.
2:52 Right there is a good lesson; you see someone braking for a green light be ready for them to do something squirrely.
dashcammers will do anything but hit their brakes
Honestly, I don't think that's completely the other car's fault. They are trying to move into a lane that just merged in, to make a right turn. They couldn't have been in the right lane any earlier, because that lane didn't exist. Meanwhile, cammer is merging into a road, not yielding to traffic that is already on the road, and has a signal* to move into the right lane.
* - Other driver should have had their signal on earlier, but they were still fully in front of the cammer when they put the signal on. Cammer then decided to try to pass--on the right!--someone who had their right turn signal on. At that point, what do you expect to happen?!
Vehicles brake there all the time as you make a left to get on the highway, taken the exit hundreds of times and they brake and make a left, sometimes without a turn signal.
@@mahzorimipodI did brake, lay on the horn, and tried to go to the right to avoid the collision. The other driver didn't react.
@@jonpinyanthe road is two separate lanes and don't merge, they merge after the light. The camera has a 180° view so he signaled and changed lanes when the front of our car was less than a car length in front of ours. That light has a left turn to enter a highway and is common for people to brake there. I laid on the horn, applied the brake, and tried swinging right to avoid the accident but the other driver didn't react. If you slow the video down (I had slow motion at the end of the video but they edited it out), his blinker only flashed once before he entered my lane. He took responsibility immediately for it and was given fault by the police.
3:25 How in the hell does a US based insurer have a 10K limit, I have a friggin moped on the side, with the most basic insurance covered at €500k for damages done to others. How would 10K cover anything at all. USA, wtf.
if you have a paid off car you can get by with a very low collision minimum in certain states.
Just American things. I want to get out of here.
According to a quick google search, $10K IS minimum liability in NJ. Just wow.
@@theblanklogo Florida and Georgia too.
Yea it's bad. We are in NJ, other driver was from PA.
4:25 the driver may be apologetic but good luck getting the USPS to pay up
i was a big supporter of the usps back when a certain moron was defunding them. then that same moron put a different moron in charge of it and they've been awful ever since.
still not as bad as fedex and ups but the gap is closing.
That's why people have insurance. They cover your expenses and repairs, then turn around and go after the culprit's insurance carrier to get refunded for your damages. That's why you don't screw around with cheap-ass insurance from some guy working out of his garage. The small companies won't fight for you.
the last fella should be reading audio books with that buttery smooth voice
long time watcher, first time commenter. i'm a fan of the commentary and i like the idea of the letters emphasizing exclamations like "omg" or "wtf" but the pink color and cursive font choices are way off brand.
The accident with the 4 runner, this is why they tell you to never pull up in the intersection to take a left turn until it is safe. Also I feel like even when the light is yellow I'm not entering the intersection because there was no slowing down for the jeep. I'm not saying he's at fault but they entered that intersection after it had been yellow at full speed so they were stepping on that gas to make it through. Both of them could have avoided the situation by using better judgement. I had someone turn in front of me and there was no way I could stop going down a highway at 55 mph, my light was fully green.
1:53 NICE!
the tea at the end….. alex you are my superstar
Thank you for acknowledging when the cammers take appropriate avoidance/evasive action. Not every cammer does.
The right hand turn from the left lane is a classic.
Also, isn't getting hit by a mail truck good luck or something?
8:45 One, I hate it when people pull in-front of you and two, I hate it when people pull out and not speed up. Have had this happen a few times in the last few months. Even had the ABS kick in with one as I had no way to avoid. Really annoying.
You mess with the universe, you get instant karma Love seeing it unfold.
3:20 Insurance with $10K should be ILLEGAL. Those states that allow that are ridiculous.
4:13
I've had that almost happen to me on my delivery route. Luckily i realized in time.
2 way stops in neighborhoods is really dumb impo. But it is a reminder to keep on your toes, and pay attention, always.

4:48 "ooooh! OOOOooOooOoOhhhHH!" 😂😂
5:05 100% insurance fraud, there was zero need to go that far back....and he looks like the type, liked his hands up as soon as he got out. lol
A person who hits someone by "accident" wouldn't put their hands up like "hey, wasn't me".
Pretty sure the dude at 3:45 just needed his phone to call 911..
19,000 Miles for a 2022 VW???? You gotta be kiddin me...
Is that good or bad? Lol
lol i thought the guy talking in the video in the last clip was the freakin radio.. dude should definitely look into getting into voice work.
3:33 Modern car safety has come a long way. That was really nasty and they both walked away alive.
Neither of them was driving defensively. Both technically entered on the yellow, but it was like a game of chicken-- each assumed the other one was going to stop and each wanted to make the light. I guess the guy turning left is at fault, but both of them drove badly.
@@c7rfnmn Pretty sure that was a legal left turn and they would have completed it before the red if the other truck hadn't been speeding to beat the red. That was 100% not the 4 Runner's fault and I'd be disputing that if I were them.
5:12 so you wanted to get hit 🤨 waited till you get hit, then beep honk 🤦♀️🙄
Makes no sense lol
- Good lord. 3:30 is a testament to how far crash safety has come, happening at that kind of speed especially.
- 5:48 Also, maybe don't treat a freshly snowy road like you're driving in ordinary conditions during the day and then speed up even more in a rage?
2:19 cammer was still traveling way too fast entering such a complex intersection

When you need to call 911 and your cell phone is Bluetooth connected to your car, you should remain in your car to hear and be heard by 911. It may seem simple but it happened to me once and I couldn't understand why I couldn't hear 911 and they couldn't hear me when I got out to make a call. Stay Safe
I dont have one of those cars, and personally i dont want one either. If area is safe then one is fine to get out.
I see several Toronto GTA situations here. Oddly, Toronto was reported in the American media to be 'the worst city to drive in" in North America. Here's proof.
Just becuase the guilty party has a $10k limit on their insurance doesn't mean they aren't responsible for the excess. They still have to pay up. Sue them for the extra if they don't.
Yeah it is bs but we're going to look into a lawyer. Still don't have the vehicle back and no ETA.
3:30 I’m not so sure that the 4Runner should’ve been at fault. He definitely rushed through the left turn lane a little too late but that Jeep was fuckin gunning it trying to make that red light and should’ve slowed down. Remember people, unless you’re within like ~20ft (6m) of the line, yellow means slow down, not speed up!
The guy going straight was legally in the intersection when it turned to red. The 4Runner is completely at fault for not yielding.
@@sarcasticguy4311 I know that's the law, but just because the person going straight has the right of way doesn't mean they should get away with driving recklessly/putting other people in danger. The only reason he was in the intersection before it turned red, was because he floored the gas pedal.
In Australia when the light turns Yellow you are REQUIRED BY LAW to come to a stop at or before the marked line. NOT PUT YOUR FOOT DOWN TO GET THROUGH THE INTERSECTION BEFORE IT GOES RED. The fine for shooting a yellow is the same amount as shooting a RED. ... In EXCESS of $1,100 Australian.
@@RobertSmith-bc9uk That makes perfect sense. So why even have yellow lights then?
@@JacknIndy You don't know that and we can't see that. You're assuming that.

It's funny most ppl use there horn after the accident great awareness guys
Brotuned having one hella time driving.
Am I guessin' that the mail was late that day (4:16)?🤔
10:02 Maybe he did notice you and noticed he couldn't see your signal so possibly he thought you were going left. You had an opportunity to let that pickup driver know where you were going and you failed and in the process you almost caused an accident. This is why signals are important.
1:34 michael from gta 5
The 8:00 video, cracks me up how the cammer says white truck cut me off. My gosh you could see the truck coming over in plenty of time to slow your vehicle down i stead of gunning it to make sure you cause a crash
Clip #1: White car signals and starts to change lanes but cammer makes no attempt to avoid collision. Should white car have changed lanes? No. Should cammer anticipated the lane change and be prepared to brake? Yes.
It's hard telling but it doesn't seem like there's anyone in the lane next to them either so they couldve swerved. It for sure could've been avoided.
lol seemed like there was no one behind the camera. Cammer had absolutely no fault but everyone one here loves defending the bad drivers
@@ZayPlays1no one is defending bad drivers. We just understand that in the real world the only thing you can control is yourself. So you can be right and get into an accident, or slow down and get home on time.
@user-vg8ox3he1i if you don't see anyone defending the person at fault/ the bad driver then you need to look at the comment. I swear every video on every idiots in cars channel I watch has at least 1 big comment defending the bad driver. I think we as a society lack the knowledge of common sense (as seen in these countless videos and comments). I sure hope that none of these people become insurance employees because no one can use their brain to determine who is truly at fault, period!
2:13 drive safe you say, closely observing the car in front of you with their rear window covered with snow🤦
And a broken light!
Had something similar to 10:09 happen to me at a gas station. I was at one entrance while they were at the other one, and we were both coming out going left. I had my blinker on and had been sitting a bit waiting for an opening. They must've not noticed me at all but once i saw them pulling out as i approached, i knew i had to book it
7:00 cammer at fault. should've waited and not crossed into the oncoming lanw
@ 3:50 I think the jeep/4-runner accident should have been declared 50/50 fault. The 4-runner tried to cut the light when it was turning red and the jeep was running the yellow as it turned red.
There is nothing i hate more than people who lay on their horn for way too long. I get it you’re mad, i’m mad for you but christ i got that you were mad the first 3 seconds
7:11 why did they assume that was a proper lane change lane? Might as well just do a full left from the rightmost lane while your at it, or make a right and then do your turn from the following street?
3:25 how tf do insurance policies just have a limit?
The very first accident should be split in terms of who handles damages. While the white car ran into cammer, the canmer saw and knew that the white car was attempting to turn into his lane. There is a law that I can't remember the name of, but it basically states, that if you had a clear opportunity to avoid said accident (which cammer did) and you don't attempt to take that opportunity then you are held at fault.
Forget the drivers, I wanna hear about Alex’s long distance relationship 10:30
People are so impatient when the light changes and I see someone in the turn lane I go ahead and stop and let them turn
okay, im a new driver but i love these videos. 6:42 can someone explain to me why/if not the cammer is at fault? she didn't stop for that car that clearly had a turn signal and blew right past them in a very dangerous exchange, and because of that the other car was unable to see her coming and thought it was safe to go and they collided. i would love to know!
Few things i like about your channel that i took for granted first finding it
1. Gives credit and respects permissions
2. It isnt all crashes the whole time but often like minor incidents
3. Commentary/context
Drive with caution! Safety first on the road
0:45 stay in the right lane where you belong
3:09 WHAT MEDICAL COSTS??? For that tiny little fender bender?
Some people are more prone to injuries (be it age, pre-existing medical conditions, or simply natural disposition), and a sideways jolt like they endured could have caused neck injuries anyways as the neck is not really built for that. We also don't know who or how many people were in the car, so someone could have, for instance, been leaning against the back door of the car that was hit and they would have been much more likely to sustain injuries.
Point is, there can be medical costs for even minor hits. Don't judge before you know the facts.
He got his feelings hurt.
Based on the way they mentioned not having a car, perhaps they needed to have medicine delivered to them at a fee after being unable to pick it up without a vehicle, or something along those lines. That's just one possibility though. Like the other reply says, maybe the did just sustain an injury from the crash, urged by predisposition.
It wasn't tiny, and yes, my wife had extreme chest and back pain after the accident and we were advised by the paramedics to go to the hospital as a precaution. We then had a follow up with our PCP a week later. It's not like a multi-day hospitalization, but a hospital and PCP visit still costs money.
4:31 while he shouldn't hit you, he has right of way no?
9:38 That's 100% an Armenian driver driving like that in Glendale on the I-5. Plus you will see a lot of those drivers everywhere in Glendale, especially freeways in a video like this.
Props to cammer Noo u didn't do anything u backed up after the car stopped stop in the snow
10:31 Okay Garmin, save video 💅
Astro: Was the driver of the Jeep cited for running the red light? 03:28
That what Dana white said LOL
A massive problem down here in Florida; and the reason i like to hide behind big rigs for protection while driving, is slow drivers triggering impatient drivers.
Our state has a huge issue of slow drivers; and they trigger a lot of impatient people to start acting up. If so much as ONE slow driver shows up on my road; everyone and their grandmother who is impatient will start acting up, this includes tailgating, changing lanes without blinkers, excessive speeding, diving in and out of traffic, riding shoulders and emergency lanes, and brake checking people trying to pass them. Literally; one slow driver, and all the angry and impatient drivers start acting up.
So if i see a big rig; i get behind them and stay behind them until the impatient drivers go bug someone else.
There needs to be more serious laws penalizing excessively slow drivers (im talking 45 in a 70; or 10 in a 30)
[Edit] to all you truckers who watch these; thank you for being on the road, you have no idea how much safer you make me feel when driving, especially when bad and angry drivers dont want to be behind your trucks.
2:53 If you see a vehicle braking and you don't understand why: they either see a danger that you don't, or they are about to do something stupid. Either way, SLOW DOWN and pay full attention to what is going on.
I was paying full attention. They are two separate lanes and vehicles are always braking there since you make a left to get on the highway. I've taken that exit hundreds of times and never saw someone do this.
8:33 pretty sure the cameras are not actively showing all the angles they can view while the driver is driving. They have no awareness because they don’t know how to use their mirrors or do a shoulder check.
7:52 US drivers are really something. You can see the guy makes a mistake from a mile away. What you do is kick the brake pedal, not almost cause a crash to prove how right you are.
3:34 Both vehicles should've been found at fault as both tried to beat a light they couldn't make safely.
It is a Burdensome task...to always drive for the idiots around you..but it saves you trouble in the long run..
