Great story. Tomatoes with histories like this are facinating.

Thank you so much! This one was a lot of fun to do. I was happy to discover this story when researching the variety. Not all of them have such an exciting backstory!

Hello Inchworm Gardener. Missed you! The tomatoes look delicious!! Thank you for that story. I am trying the Ananas Noire for one of the green tomatoes this year, and Green Chef. Am so late plAnting the garden this year.may get toms in September. Because of several physical and mental health problems. But I must tell you of an amazing seed company for variety. Pinetee seeds, or superseeds. It has so many herbs and flowers, you will be astounded. I want to try the green doctors next year. Hoping thimgs get better. You are my favorite garden CZcamsr!! How are your son? Daughter? Wife? Dogs? Chickens? I saw your other videos, but haven’t found the time to comment yet. Thank you for all you do!! I do have the white currant tomato growing also. That will be exciting!! And the Sungold for mom. She loves them for the sweetness. And Have many different eggplants for her. Thank you for your video!!

Helloooo!!! Thank you again for the kind words. I truly appreciate that! The family and pups and chickens are all doing well. The Summer heat has really arrived here in Tennessee! But it's been a great growing season so far. I got a late start as well, especially my peppers. They're still small are just barely starting to put on fruit. But don't worry, you'll still get a great harvest! It will just be a little later than usual.
Thanks for recommending that seed company! I had not heard of them before. I just spent a few minutes exploring their website. You're right, huge variety of heirloom and hybrid seeds.
Please let me know how your White Currant tomato turns out. Mine are growing well but the fruit is yellow! I'm afraid the seed packet might have been mislabeled and they are a different variety.
I've always been interested in the Ananas Noire so I might give that a try next year. The Pippin's Golden Honey peppers you recommended are growing well. They're still small but I'm looking forward to trying them.
Thanks again and have a great 4th of July!

One envelope with 60 tomatoes variety (all heirloom?) is such a great gift!

Hi! Just stumbled upon your videos! May I ask what kind of pests do you have in your area and how do you prevent them from going in your garden? Do you have squirrels? We have squirrels here and it’s disheartening every harvest time

Hey there! I'm glad you found my little channel. The main pests that I'm battling are insect pests. The birds are also stealing my berries. I've resorted to covering them with small mesh bags. That seems to have helped quite a bit. We have squirrels around but they haven't caused much damage. We do have two dogs that scare them away so I think that helps quite a bit.
Squirrels are tough since they're very sneaky and strong. I think a netting or cage of some sort might be the best defense. Good luck to you!
