I grow Jedi F1 from Johnny’s. It’s a great Medium hot, very productive jalapeño.

Oh nice! Haven't tried that one yet. Thanks for the recommendation!

Jimmy Nardellos are definitely one of the best tasting sweet peppers I've ever grown.

The Jimmy's are a staple in my garden now. This is my third season growing them. They are a very prolific plant and I'm growing 6 of them. The other pepper that will always be a staple in my garden is an Ajvarski - best sweet pepper hands down in my book. I'm in zone 7a and bell peppers just don't grow very well for me. This is a better substitute!

Wow! Thanks for letting me know about your success with the Jimmy Nardello's. My two plants are growing really well. Can't wait to try them. I will definitely add the Ajvarski to my list for next year. Thanks for the suggestion!

I grew one pepper plant about 10 years ago, kept seed and I am trying to germinate them for this year. They are hungarian wax.
I also bought explosive ember seeds (hot ornamental) and ljubov dlan, which is supposed to be a better, meatier bell.

How cool! Explosive Ember is an awesome name. I've heard the Hungarian Wax is a great one. I'll have to try that one sometime. Never heard of Ljubov Dlan before but I'll look into that one too. Thanks for the suggestions!

What did you think of these peppers? We're also in Middle TN and previously have only done Jalapeño, Bell, and LunchBox. Would love to add some more. Also, saw your garden tour and subbed. Great work my dude!!

Hey there! Thanks so much. I really enjoyed the Jimmy Nardello as a cooking pepper. Rich, sweet flavor. I also liked the Biquinho as a pickling pepper. It was a bit seedy but a nice bright flavor. Those were my favorites of the new varieties I tried last year. The Shishito is still one of my top favorites. It's just really productive and delicious. The Puma pepper is my favorite HOT pepper so far. Mainly because the plant and fruit are both stunningly beautiful; Dark purple/green foliage with sunburst yellow/purple fruit. The heat and flavor are similar to a habanero. I suggest trying a new variety (or 2 or 3) each year to see what you like best. So many great options out there for us!

Love your videos! I'm growing the puma peppers this year and yes, the plant is so gorgeous already! Love Baker Creek seeds!

Thank you so much! I love BC too. I'm planning to attend their Spring Festival in Missouri in May! Can't wait!

I grew yellow biquinho last year and harvested a bunch, the plant's very productive (even in pot). And I think I remembered the Denver restaurant that serve the dip with red biquinho on it, near the street corner and passed a large local tea/coffee shop.

How cool! What did you think of the taste of the yellow variety? Can't wait to try it.

@@inchwormgardens I like the flavor with the heat slowing rolling in, also it's a compact plant and can grow very well in pot
