All right I help you with the car but you got to help me with the bedroom. 😂
Great video. Thank You for explaining why it was the Resistor and not the Blower . I wasn't sure if it was the Resistor or the Blower. Now I know which part I need to replace. Thanks a lot.
Wayne Metroke Glad the video helped. Thank you for watching!

Glad the video help you save. Thank you for watching!
Thank you so much!
Just changed my resister, unfortunately it must be the motor so guess I better go get one of them next, good video oh how to replace the blower motor (probably watch it one more time before I do the motor).
Good job thanks for demonstration!
Robert Ray thank you for watching!
For my truck, to change the resister, I just opened the glove box all the way and got to it just fine.
The screws that hold my Resistor are allen head #30 metric,on my 09 Silverado 1500 LT
Great video. Is the procedure the same on a 2013 Silverado 1500?
3-4 hours?! I think maybe 30-40 min realistically.
Thank you didn’t think about the resistor..possibly saving me some money
That’s my goal to help people save money. Thank you for watching!
Thank you
2010 GMC Sierra replaced the resistor twice in 5 month's, went out again couple weeks ago, busy for a week, ordered a new fan, then yesterday fan started running on high, would not shut off, even turned key off still ran, so I pulled the fuse to stop it. Now I'm really confused because this will be the 3 new resistor in 5 - 6 months but tired of having no fan also. Think I'm going to get another resistor, and put the new fan in. Any comments. Thanks
Thank you 😊 very helpful
Thank you for watching!
So would it be my resistor on my 2013 GMC Sierra 1500? It comes on and off like when I start my vehicle the blowers will not come on at all and if I hit the bottom of my Dash or hit a big bump it will come back on it used to do this just very periodically like once a month and now it's getting more frequent. I would appreciate your advice thanks in advance
I have a 2010 GMC Sierra, but the controls aren’t push button. They are knobs. Would that take a different resistor, or is it pretty much the same?
Do you know how troubleshoot blower motor thanks bro
mine has three screws holding the motor in. i cant seem to find out what size bit i need to remove the 3 screws
Great job nice clean truck like mine..
What is a 5.5 ?
I don’t remember what it had in it. I work on so many cars. Thank you for watching!
2012 silverado with center console. Blower just died while in use. Like someone flipped switch. Don't know where fuse is to ck. Also hav you go to remove console to get housing off to show blower motor
You should be able to get it out with out Removing the console.
@@HowtoAutomotive thanks much
Where is the tab ,,?
I replaced the resistor and blower motor. Now it only works when the truck is warm from sitting in the sun. It Doesn’t blow in the morning when the truck is cold. Parts where new authentic GM parts.
That’s a strange one. If you didn’t do it before you replace the parts I would suspect the resistor. If it did then I would suspect that control model
Thank you now time to swear for a bit
open station logging. kevin baker hopefully it doesn’t bite you too much. Thank you for watching!
Leave it to chevy to use a 5.5mm and 7mm... rediculous
