  • 2013 Chevy Cruze Blower motor noise ??? Rodents again !!! Chevy Cruze cabin air filter and blower motor replacement. We have critters again !!!
The car has no air flow or restricted air flow. on top of that, the blower motor sounds like a jet engine. It is very noisy.
Upon pulling out the cabin air filter, I found a nest. Yep, more rodents have made themselves at home.
Once cleared the airflow was fine but the more was still noisy so we changed that also.
restricted airflow caused by plugged cabin air filter

Where is the cabin air filter on a Chevy Cruze

Thank you Zane. Yes I was surprised also. Not sure how such a clean looking little car became a mouse condo !

I had this exact same problem. I had a HUGE nest behind my cabin air filter.

@@grantg98 Yes massive nest and also had a nest under my battery box. It's where they had chewed wires and it is why my gas gauge wasn't working

Yep... those three things are always an issue no matter the vehicle. Bad resistor, bad motor bearings. A bad bearing will also overheat and burn the resistor. In Florida, I put a screen over the air intake to keep the leaves and bugs out. It's also why I have a 1275fps pellet rifle aka the rodent killer

Yes. Not sure where that car sat but wherever it was, it took no time for those critters to make themselves at home. I think it's the last of them !

That's about what my daughter's cabin filter looked like.

My car had 2 nests. One was under the battery, and the critters had chewed some wires. Was the cause of my gas gauge not working. Made a vid about it

Hi Jonny. I watched my video again. I apologise if I offended anyone with my language. I am only trying to help anyone with a Chev Cruze that may encounter some of these issues.
