So better than the other people that want you to take your whole car apart. Smh. Thanks it was so helpful.
Bro! You made this task a breeze and super easy compared to other videos! Headed to Garage now! Thanks again! ~ROLL TIDE~
Тhe best explanation for changing cabin filter. Tomorrow I will change mine. Thanks for the video.
I have a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze is it the same
I have a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze is it the same way to change cabin air filter
I just changed mine today and was surprised to see how dirty it was because the filter itself was the original filter from the factory. I also changed the engine air filter while I was at it. I also got some power back on the engine. Both my car and myself can breathe easier now.
Thought I'd give mine a go. Just bought car week ago. Four bolts holding a lot of shaped plastic around filter. They've changed it for the UK market.
Thank you for making this so simple! My mechanic was quoting me $75 to change this filter. So glad i saw this video first because ain't no way this is a $75 job!
I bought my Cruze used, and I saw the filter and it was so dirty it had leaves in it! Speedee wanted 40$ for it, I did it myself for 9$
Thanks! was able to replace mine, and boy did it need it!
Thanks bro thanks , and I really like how you mention "Toolless" ... aw man too cool...
Thanks! Just did it to mine and couldn't be easier!
thank you very much my friend...good video and helpful
Quick and easy; thanks for the video!
Worked perfectly on my 2015 Cruze! Thanks!
Thank you!! Job completed.
Good video, one question...when putting the glove box back together, my model (2014) has a curved "finger" on either side at the bottom. It looks as thought it is supposed to sit inside the slot at the base of the glove box, but I can't seem to get mine to shut if I put them in. It doesn't seem like it will shut if I didn't put them in... please help. Thanks.
Right after 3:55 I show that part. When I say "hinges" and point it should look the same as your "curved fingers". If it doesn't close you probably put them in too high, as it will catch and hold higher than where it's supposed to go.
Where is the air intake vent for the cabin air? Is it under hood on driver side? I want to spray some vent and duct cleaner in it.
Thanks bro helped me a lot
Thanks for the advice.
Thank you! So easy! :D
Love this step by step! How much does this help? My 2011 Cruze has 80,000 miles. Never changed the cabin filter. Worth it? Thanks!
JohnnyO34 omg change it or at least take it out and vacuum it my car only has 50,000 and it was so dirty!
cameron ward ...I orderd mine from Amazon. I'm excited to do this. Thanks again for this video. Looks like it'll only take me 10-15 minutes. Just in time for summer.
THANK YOU SO MUCH
Good, more tutoriais.
My glover box doesn't fall down. It comes down a bit but it doesn't go to the floor
thank you I will do this myself 😄
Your dash where your ac is, the trim looks sick. Did it come that way? Or did you buy one online?
that's stock for the LTZ trim level 😉
is that the same way to change filter for a 2015 cruze diesel?
Yes it is!
does anyone know how to replace the cabin air filter for a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze Lt
Terry Miskow just did it today, had to take panels off and remove screws. This method is outdated with the new body style
just did it today, on my 2016 Cruze. Had to take panels off and remove screws. This method is outdated with the new body style
Yeah, major changes to many aspects after 2015. Strange they added screws to this aspect though as there's not much issue with glove box fit.
There is a vibration noise when the fan speed is above 5 (5, 6, 7, 8) in the center of the console after I change the filter, any suggestions?
Marco same
Marco Please let me know if you find a fix!
I figured it out today! I had to take the filter back out and pull out some leaves that have fallen into the fan when I first removed my dirty filter
2017 Cruze requires tools and 12 hours. 2 hours to view the video, 10 hours to do the work.
WHy couldn't they do this with the 2nd gen Cruze's. Now we have to disassemble 1/2 the damn dash to get to it.....
Shawn Elliott stupid. Might have to go non Chevy on my next car. Been considering Mercedes.
Shawn Elliott probably to get less people doing the diy method and more paying $$$ to stealerships.
Now people if you don't use the air conditioner in the car you don't ever have to replace it.
So the use of a cabin filter is to filter the "Dirty Air" in the car? It just seems like something else for GM to make money on servicing. I will never change it. I'll just roll the window down.
Captain Everything when it cycles to outside air it filters that intake, catching leaves and other debris. Often find it with pine needles. Most cruises came from the factory without one installed, So it seems more like engineers decided it was a fantastic idea but GM did not want to pay for it. There are knock off brand filters that you can buy for almost $10. However if you wanna go without it makes more sense to just remove the filter rather than leave a filthy one in their, As it will inhibit airflow if you let it go too long.
Dude, suppose its pouring rain outside, then you get a wet ass and water in your vehicle.
