    Just some advice from my personal experience you can swap in an AD244 from a 2001-2003 suburban the exact same way but the plug is different, the added benefit is in that plug you have your excite wire plus a sense wire you run to the distribution block under the hood and you will always have 14 volts when running and if you run 4 gauge wire from alternator post directly to the battery and 4 gauge ground wire from alternator body to the body and chassis your voltage always is around 14.3-14.6 with electric fans you need all the voltage you can get. Alot of people who run OBS Chevy trucks do that upgrade when they run large audio sound systems but it benefits every electrical component in the vehicle. Great video and keep up the good work

      I did everything you said but got a 250amp alternator & two batteries under hood .I dont think it ever gets under 14 volts even with my system bumping & plow going

    How old was your original belt. Looks like it stretched a half inch to match the first longer belt.
